Alone in the field

Leaning on the brown and short fence

I gazed into the sky

And saw the beauty of the stars-

The night.

I gasped

For moments later

A disk shaped thing fell down from the sky

And out came something i never expected to be real--

An alien!

Tap tap tap

The sound of its queer three legged steps

It looked at me weirdly

I was surprised with what it said,

Its green antennae wobbling strangely

It muttered,

"Humans are weird"

I asked it "why?"

But there came no reply
