A/N: You guys might hate Yukio a little bit more in this chapter...

They used to be so close.

They were once happy back in their childhood home with Shiro and the priests at the monastery: Nagamoto, Kyodo, Izumi, and Maruta.

Old memories...

Soon shattered and turned to dust...

When Shiro died things have changed.

His adoptive father was now gone and there was no one left to wash each of his pain and doubt away. Yukio soon began to move away from him as a result of the old man's death...

Neglected him...

Blame him of all things...

All because one of them had to harbor Satan's flames...

Now here they are...

Where did it all go wrong...?

Yukio: Rin...

Rin gulped a bit as he faced his twin.

Yukio: Where...have you been?

Rin: I thought you would already know.

Yukio: Why did you run away...?

Rin: Because I wanted to be alone...away from everyone else.

Yukio then got angry.

Yukio: How can you be so selfish?!

Rin:...It doesn't matter and how am I selfish?!

Yukio: Because you're sitting here, cutting yourself, and you say it doesn't matter?! What about Shiemi?! How do you think she feels if she sees you like this! What about Dad?!

Rin was a bit shock. He knew he was cutting himself....?! Who told him?! Shiemi?! Shura?! Mephisto?! Anyone that was watching him?!

Rin: Just leave me alone…

He was no mood to argue with Yukio once again. He wanted to leave.

Yukio narrowed his eyes as he said the most horrible thing that will jeopardize his relationship with his brother...Forever.

Yukio: If you want to suffer alone then have fun. Be selfish. See if I care! Father gave his life for you and this is how you repay him? By sitting around, hurting yourself, being wrapped in your own self pity and crying like a wimpy person.

Rin clenched his fists.

Rin: (Shut up. Shut up. Shut up.)

Yukio: I guess you are nothing more than a mistake. You can go die for all I care. You were nothing but a useless failure. That's just another reason Father should've never saved you, demon!!!

That was the last straw...

Rin: SHUT UP!!!!!

Shura then slammed the door open.

Shura: Whoa! Whoa! What's going on here?!

She paused only to see a shocking sight.

Yukio fell to the ground after Rin gave him a nasty punch. His glasses were broken and some blood came out from his lip.

He looked up to retort back until he saw Rin was crying...

Oh-no...What have he done...?

Why did he say all those words...?

Yukio: Rin...I...

Rin's face was heavily shadow by the bangs of his hair and tears falling down from his face.

Rin: I didn't...I didn't ask to be born. I didn't ask to become this way. I just wanted you to care about me...Let me be your older brother again that you used to look up too...Was that...too much to ask...?

Yukio:....

Shura:....

Rin: Why couldn't you love me just a little...?

Shura: Hey kid...

Shura put on hand on his arm but he flinches from her touch and backed away.

Shura: Rin! Wait!

He took off away from the room.

Yukio: NII-SAN!

Shura glared at him before pushing Yukio to the wall.

Shura: Are you happy you selfish four-eye chicken?! What did you say to him?!!

Yukio: I-I didn't mean too! I was just-?!

Shura: I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOUR EXCUSES ANYMORE! I WARNED YOU! NOW YOU'RE IN FOR A POUNDING!

Yukio: S-Shura! No! WAIT!

Shura delivered the first punch before proceeding to beat the hell outta him...

-Meanwhile-

Rin ran from the dorms all the way back to Sei's dorm. Both Sei and Gosu were not there yet...

Rin: Perfect...

He needed to get away...

Get away from True Cross...

Away from Yukio...

Kuro: Rin...?

Rin: Kuro...

Rin started grabbing Kurikara and his things before looking back at his cat with the only answer he had to say now.

Rin: W-We're leaving.
