Sei was staring wide-eyed at Rin after his confession. Rin was the son of Satan?! The very known demon that strike fear into the hearts of humans?! The Ruler Of Hell or Gehenna, in a exorcist's case.

But nonetheless, it was still shocking to find out the guy you admired was actually the son of Satan.

Sei: Oh...well...I...

Rin: Go on ahead. You can hate me now.

Sei: HATE YOU?!! Why would I-?!

Rin cut him off giving him a sad broken look.

Rin: Everybody else does. Even my own brother. So why bother trying to cover it up Sei.

Sei:...But I don't hate you...

Rin: .....Eh?

Sei: Right! I don't hate you! You're my friend! You help me with my demon problem not too long ago.

Rin:....

Sei: So I don't care....

Rin: But...I'm a monster.

Sei: YOU'RE NOT A MONSTER! YOU'RE RIN OKUMURA!

Sei hugged him not caring he was still naked and bruised. Sei wanted to prove to Rin that he cares. Then Sei felt a little angry. How could the people Rin is associated with turn their backs on him for something Satan did but he didn't. He gets blamed for everything Satan has caused and has been called a demon, monster, etc.

Sei: (Now that's not fair. Rin doesn't deserve this.)

Rin: Sei....

Sei: Rin-kun. No matter what people say, you are not a monster. Now tell me. Have you killed anyone?

Rin: W-Well...besides demons...no.

Sei: No humans?

Rin shook his head.

Sei: Have you ever got into any trouble with the law?

Rin still shook his head no.

Sei: Any trouble at all?

Rin: Well...I used to get into many fights with a bunch of people. But that was because they were being assholes!

Sei: I see...Then you proved my point.

Rin: Huh?

Sei: You're not a monster...you're just misunderstood.

Rin: M-Misunderstood?

Sei: Yeah...Which means that no one understands you or don't want to understand. It will always be like until they realize their mistakes. But sometimes, it be far too late when they do realize it.

Rin: Sei...

Sei: That's why...I'm going to help you. Son of Satan or not. You're still Rin. Rin-kun is Rin-kun. Please. Remember that.

Rin: But why...?

Sei raised a eyebrow. What did he mean why?

Sei: Huh?

Rin: Why are you helping me?

Sei: For reasons! Because one-it's cruel how the other exorcists are treating you after all you done for them. Two-It's wrong to take the blame of someone who did something wrong. You haven't done anything wrong but yet you still suffer for it, because you are related to him. Three-Like I said before, you're my friend!

Rin: Friend....?

Sei: Yes! Friend!

Rin made a small smile. He thought Kuro and Ukobach were his only friends.

Rin: Thanks Sei.

Sei nods and smiles to himself. He was going to help Rin break out of this. No one deserves to feel this way because of their heritage. Sure Sei knows Satan is a scary being but Rin isn't. Because Rin is not Satan. Just because he's Satan's son doesn't mean anything! How was he the bad
guy here?!

Sei: You're welcome Rin-kun!

Everyone could use a hand sometimes...
