Blossom's P.O.V.

Dinner wasn't that awkward, buttercup even laughed, it was nice. I went to take food up to Haley, but when I reached the top of the stairs I heard some voices, coming from the guest room. "Don't worry, I'm in."

"You better not screw this up, this is my last chance!" a familiar voice whisper/yelled. I could see red mist seep through from under the door.

"Yes, Master." Haley's voice said, the mist disappearing with those 2 words. I waited a few minutes till I knocked on the door, "I'm awake."

I walked in carrying chicken noodle soup, I smiled and nodded, placing the soup on the dresser. I didn't know what was going on but I didn't like it one bit!

Brick's P.O.V

The professor left a few minutes after blossom, to go check out his lab. It was kind of awkward with bubbles and buttercup, they hated my guts just cause I was with their sister. "Brick, we need to ask you a favor." Buttercup said glaring at the table.

"What kind of favor?"

She slowly lifted her head, her eyes held anger, sadness, defeat and worry. Buttercup may get angry but she never admits to other emotions, I know I live with her counterpart. "That little girl blossom saved, something's messed up about her. She's got a dark and disturbing aura and I'm afraid it has something to do with blossom. Can you just read her mind?"

"I can but I have to be in the same room because I don't know what she looks like or who she is."

"Thank you brick, if something else happened to blossom we honestly don't know what we'd do." Bubbles said her eyes polished over like newly cut glass, I nodded.

"I can try tomorrow." I said.

Blossom finally came downstairs in deep thought. I didn't want to get in her privacy by reading her thoughts, even though it was killing me. Just as I was about to my phone went off, I went outside. I answered not bothering to check the caller ID, "Hello?"

"Hello, my dear brick." a voice I knew all to well said through the phone.

"HIM, what do you want?!" I whisper/yelled.

He chuckled and I could practically see his devil like smirk, "You see dear boy, you've betrayed me, falling for a puff! It's sick and disgusting, you and your brothers were created to destroy them. I'm supposed to already be ruler of the world but no, thanks to you!"

"I'll ask again HIM, What. Do. You. Want?!"

"It's quiet simple actually, I can't get rid of that pink puff. Her powers are to strong but with her outta the way her sisters will crumble and I can take over the world." He laughed his sinister laugh.

"You won't even be able to touch blossom!"

"That's just the thing, I'm not going to, you are!" Out of nowhere I was consumed my red mist and darkness consumed me.
