That official book advertisement post to annoy people
Recently, I've been getting a lot of follows--and while I do appreciate that, I've noticed that many of it is due to my graphic making and occasional art. I do love them with a passion (especially art), and I don't want to stop making graphics for other people either, but I'm just getting a bit frustrated that I haven't been getting much recognition in writing recently :~)
If you despise book advertisements (basically summaries of my books and short previews of them) then please turn away; I don't want to offend anyone ^^; I'd just thought I would made this post.
[1] Pathos:
Fandom: Pokemon [Slight inspiration from Your Lie in April]
Genres: Romance/Action/Drama/Angst // Medieval setting (;-D)
Summary:
「pathos (n.) a quality that evokes pity or sadness」 They're always a step down from what you think they'd be, always a notch lower than expectations, and always a lie to hide from the reality around us.
§
It's horrible to don a mask.
Most don some kind of mask in their life--and for the most part, they're never of the best quality. All they cause is useless self-destruction and pain, but the good thing about them is that they can hide some ugly part of you that you don't want to show to the world.
...of course, there are those that can see through those masks too, and it's supposed that Arceus created these humans to keep the world's sanity.
§
Avis Ichor can only hide in the shadow of his twin brother's strength, stranded in a country ravaged by war and destruction--and he tries to live his life in the darkness peacefully. He doesn't need to be noticed by everyone.
That's all he wishes for, because it's nearly impossible to find any semblance of peace in this midst of war and chaos. To him, that's staying alone; staying out of others' business, and for the first seventeen years of his life, he's done that pretty well.
The illusion of a functional, ideal life, however, is shattered when his family's balance is destroyed, and he thus dons his first mask.
§
For all his life, Avis had been taught that disaster was bad. For the most part, he's believed that much--he only needs to think of ungraceful piles of debris and blood-caked grounds to be convinced of that.
At eighteen, he finds himself starting to doubt it--just a little.
He can hate disaster for tearing his life to pieces, but he can't quite hate it for granting him something better than a miracle.

"Well, this is worrying."
The tension in the room was electric, ablaze; far too tangible for anyone's liking, and silence crept its way into humans' skin like an unwelcome poison that was useful for nothing more than paralysing and numbing the blood and mind.
It left them paralysed and vulnerable as they did little more than stare—and illuminated by nothing but the waning flicker of an oil lamp, as if fuelled by a dying firefly, the noiseless battle continued to rage.
And neither of them seemed to win, and the momentary conflict continued because it was a natural instinct in man to always be right no matter what—
—but they were interrupted by a single, exhausted huff escaping the younger boy's pursed lips as he reached for his weapon with a heavy arm, ending the period of harrowing silence between them with a single noise and a few uttered words. "We don't have to kill them, right?"
notes: basically, this story is yet another philosophical venture into my mind and the study of different types of masks. I remembered reading about this story where everyone wore a mask or something when I was really young so ye
[2] GLIDE:
Fandom: Pokemon [Inspired by Kimi no Na wa, Shelter, Mystic Messenger and a Vocaloid song that I can't say lest I spoil anything :-3]
Genres: Friendship/Angst/Action/Drama // Futuristic setting (I SWEAR ALL MY BOOKS HAVE THE SAME GENRES LMAOOOO)
Summary:
"What would you do if you could change the world?"
Asu doesn't quite know the answer to that when she wakes up, face-to-face with nothing but wires and machines whirring around her. She doesn't want to change the world, not quite yet; not until she figures out who she used to be.
Only one name stands out from her memory. It annoys her to no end, and she tries to cling on to it when she finds shelter, a place to call home, and a group of misfit loners like her who remind her more of stray dogs than friends.
;
Left with only the distant days of an imaginary world to accompany her, she tries to adjust herself to reality. Friends are an alien thing to her now; she doesn't know how to react to them when she's been secluded in a lonely daydream for years.
"You've never truly seen 'hell' yet."
The silver eyes narrow as he speaks, and one look at his grim face is enough to tell her that he's not planning on lying anytime soon.

The responses elicited were brief. A small jerk of small shoulders, a tightening of paper-thin eyelids, the way little hands seemed to cling on to fabric in an attempt to relieve the tension—they were all minute, but they were more than sufficient.
She could only hear the clear whisper of the voice echo around the room once, as if it was nothing but a wispy fragment of a dream, and then—
—silence.
And her dream continued on.
notes: I guess it's going to be a bit more "prose-poetry" -ish (that's what some people call my writing styles ahaha) than normal? Since it has lots of those deep questions and themes xDD The first few chapters are the happiest I'll ever write so you can read them if you don't like angst
ps, this book is hardly planned out but I like it more than Pathos :,,,,)) mostly because I ship the main ship for once
So that's it for now :D thank you for reading through this if you decided to~! I know it's only like two books but I'll probably be converting Time of the Weak to a general fiction book (which like zero people will read but okay I want to try) because as much as I liked When Fire Beats Water's plot, eh.
Have this as my thank you
