*Dad Didn't Trust Me!*

I groaned and glared at my two stupid friends as they sing loudly. They smirked and winked when they notice my glare. I rolled my eyes and look back to see others. They all were laughing and chee ring for them. Even Misha was cheering them when we know she is not a big fan of their singing. She loves Rayyan voice. She hates when someone else sing in front of her and told them to shut up.

I sigh heavily and give a quiet thank to Allah when they shut their mouths. I look out of the window and watch as we pass the familiar places. I don't know why they want to go on this picnic when we could all hang out at any one house. I understand Waniya came here to spend some time before she leave for her home again and I am not saying that they shouldn't go anywhere. They can go anywhere they want, but why they had to drag me with them? I think, I know why they are doing this, but I pretend that I don't know what they are up to.

Slowly the van, that Aashir hire for this trip stop. I look forward and saw that we were now in front of Maryam house where I came about a month ago. I keep my face calm and shrugged it off when my friends give a look. I don't really care what they think or do. I don't really care what she think or do. All I know is that I have to stay away from her to keep her safe and happy. I won't forgive myself if anything happens to her because of me.

"Who is he?" Misha voice snapped me back to where we are. I looked up and freeze when I saw Saim with her. Maryam looks at them, then at Saim before rolling her eyes. 

"He is Saim. My Dad's partner and my friend. He is coming with us because Dad wouldn't want me to go alone." Maryam sigh and went at the back of the van where Misha, Waniya and Alina was sitting because they were the only girls here. I sigh and look out of the window again. 

"Can I sit here?" I looked up and saw Saim looking at me with a raised eyebrow. I study his face closely and saw the buries on his face started to fade.

"Yeah." I muttered and looking out again. I feel him taking the seat next to me and getting comfortable. I sigh mentally and rest my head on window before closing my eyes.

-Maryam-

I sigh and shake my head when I saw Saim smiling mischievously at me. I turn my attention back to Misha and Waniya as they talk about her wedding and tease Alina. Waniya brother wedding is held at the end of this year. Misha and Waniya didn't let go of any chance to tease Alina.

I smile slightly as everyone was having fun. My eyes drifted to Shehryaar and I could feel him tense as he tried to block everyone. I sigh mentally knowing he is tense because Saim was sitting next to him and I could tell he didn't like him much. It is actually first time Saim meeting with everyone. I am kind of happy that he gets out of the house and meet them so he could forget everything happening and enjoy his life for once. I couldn't help myself but recall what happened an hour ago at home between Dad and me.

"Come here Saim." I look behind me and saw Saim standing at the door with a bag in his hand. I frowned and look at Dad confused. Dad, Mom, Aunty and I are sitting in the living room waiting for Misha and Waniya to show up. Saim walks over to Dad and stop when he stood up. Dad smiled and put his hand on the shoulder before turning him to face me. 

"What?" I asked them when everyone turned to me. Dad smiled at me.

"He is coming with you." I freeze when I heard that. I stood up and shake my head, making everyone confused, but not Saim like he know why I am saying no. 

"But why? You are sending your guard with me and that is enough Dad. Nothing is going to happen there. We are going to spend few days there and I will be back soon. Did you not trust me" I swallow and feel pain when I think about Dad didn't trust me. 

"I know and I trust you Maryam but I don't trust any other person beside your friends." Dad says and I saw a hint of anger in his eyes. I know who he is talking about. I sigh and walk toward Dad. 

"Dad, I know you care about me, but that doesn't mean you should send someone with me wherever I go. I can take care of myself. Can't I go alone and enjoy?" I asked him softly with pleading eyes, but he refused by shaking his head and looking away from me. 

"No. Saim is going with you and he will look after you. He is feeling well and I think he need a vacation too. I am going in my room. Enjoy your vacation." Dad mumble and walk out after kissing my forehead. I sigh and turned to Mom and Aunty but they just shrugged before walking out.

"Maryam?" I look at Misha and saw her looking at me confused. 

"Yes?" I look around and  frowned when I saw van empty.

"We are here. What were you thinking about?" Misha asked, trying to stand up from her seat. I helped in standing and shrugged when she turned to me again. 

"Nothing." She sigh and nodded, but I feel that she knows I am lying. We step out of the van and look around with a smile.

"Finally!" Misha smiled widely looking at the house we rented for a few days. I sigh mentally knowing this is going to be a long vacation.

I want to apologize everyone for updating so much late, I was dealing with some health issues and didn't get time to come and update. I am sorry. 

Another thing, I want to share is that some readers of mine nominated my completed books in The Fiction Award 2016 which will end on July 29. I just want to let you know that if anyone feel that I should go in that then nominate my books. I am not forcing anyone. It is my first time and I don't really know what should I do.
