After being given his mission to investigate Silent Hill, Alucard travels to the United States as a cloud of mist. Once he arrives to the United States, he travels to the State of Maine where Silent Hill was located. On his way there, Alucard takes a moment to ponder what he may encounter in Silent Hill. He knew of the stories of Silent Hill. He knew that Silent Hill was a hotspot for paranormal activity. He wondered what that Vampire wanted Alucard to see in Silent Hill. It was clear that the Vampire wanted Alucard to go to Silent Hill for a reason. But the reasons were not yet clear. Despite this, Alucard was looking forward to facing whatever horrors Silent Hill had waiting for him, confident that he would conquer whatever Silent Hill had to offer. After a long journey, Alucard arrived in the outskirts of Silent Hill. He was greeted by the sign that read "Welcome to Silent Hill." Beyond that sign was the town of Silent Hill. Alucard looked upon the town of Silent Hill beyond the sign. It was a town covered in dense fog. At first glance, it seemed like any other ordinary town across the world. Alucard then proceeds to contact Integra. 

Alucard: I have arrived at Silent Hill, my master.

Integra(Phone): Have you encountered any resistance, Alucard?

Alucard: Not yet, my master. Whatever calls to me in Silent Hill will deeply regret doing so as I send them to Hell. 

Integra(Phone): Proceed with caution, Alucard. We don't know what lies within Silent Hill. There's a strong possibility that whatever paranormal activity lies within Silent Hill may affect even you. 

Alucard couldn't help but laugh at this. In his mind, there was no way that anything could affect him. Glancing against at Silent Hill, Alucard scoffed at the idea that Silent Hill would do any sort of harm to him. 

Alucard: You worry far too much, my master. This will be over quickly. I will hunt down whatever calls to me and I will show him what a true monster is! 

At this point, Integra was deeply concerned about the whole situation. Despite Alucard's confidence that he would conquer Silent Hill, Integra was unsure. She had heard the stories that have circulated about what has transpired over Silent Hill. She had heard tales of occult activity, disappearances and various other paranormal activity. But most importantly, Silent Hill was an unknown factor to Integra. This wasn't a simple matter of a renegade Vampire. This was the case of something far more sinister. And that alone was enough to make Integra feel uneasy. 

Integra(Phone): Whatever is call you to Silent Hill must be eliminated. According to our intelligence reports, Silent Hill maintains a fairly modest population. Whatever is call you out may be hiding among the people living in Silent Hill. Keep collateral damage to a minimum. 

Alucard: Understood, my master. I will contact you once I am finished. 

As Alucard hung up his phone, the Vampire prepared his Jackal and Casull pistols. As he loaded his pistols he once more looked upon the foggy Silent Hill. 

Alucard: Silent Hill.....I hope you're ready for me....

Without hesitation, Alucard crossed into the town of Silent Hill. But as Alucard did so, he began to feel violently hill as he collapsed to the ground. Alucard began to cough up blood. He felt something leave his own body. He also began to hear a voice whispering in his ears. 

???: For all flesh is as grass and all the glory thereof as the flower of the field. The grass withereth. The flower fadeth. But the word of our Gods abideth forever!

Alucard: What...what is this?

???: Your judgement, Count. You are judged and found wanting, Vampire King! You have nothing! You are nothing! Nothing!

As the voice whispered in his head, the pain eventually subsided. But as Alucard got up, he felt different. He felt weaker. It was as if much of his power had been stripped away. It didn't take long for Alucard to realize what was going on. 

Alucard: This place....it stripped me of my powers....

While Alucard maintained most of his Vampiric abilities, they were substantially weaker. As he walked into Silent Hill, Alucard was as powerful as a low level Vampire he was used to hunting. However, Alucard didn't feel concern. In fact, Alucard felt excitement.

Alucard: I see....I see now why you have brought me! How glorious! Perhaps this will not be such a mundane assignment after all! Perhaps this will be the place where I can finally die a good death!

Alucard relished in the challenge to come. Within Silent Hill was the opportunity to finally die a good death. Perhaps this was their plan all along. By weakening Alucard's powers with whatever was within Silent Hill, perhaps whoever or whatever called Alucard to Silent Hill sought to even the playing field. Despite this, a sadistic smile fell on his face. For in this, Alucard saw a chance for something that had long since eluded him: a good challenge.

Alucard: I look forward to our battle! No quarter shall be asked nor shall it be given! 

Without hesitation, Alucard walked into Silent Hill. In that moment, Alucard had begun his hunt for the whoever or whatever called him to Silent Hill. But what Alucard didn't yet realize was that his hunt would force the Vampire to confront the countless sins of Alucard's past. And within Silent Hill, Alucard would face the demons that haunted Alucard in the deepest recesses of Alucard's mind and soul.
