Chapter 2

I hear whispered mutters as my whole aching body lies dead still on a uncomfortable surface. I open my eyes to a dark room with only a small dimmed light outside what looks to be a door. Slowly I try to sit up only to be held down by what feels to be rope. I start wriggle around to see if the rope would loosen only to find it doing the complete opposite.

As I wince in pain as the rope digs into my body the whispering stops and the door is slammed open. I freeze in fear as the clicking of high heels comes nearer. Once the person stops walking I feel long sharp nail glide along my face. I scream in agony as she claws at my chin and neck. They only stop digging into my flesh as two sets of heavy footsteps come closer to where I was.

I feel a large hand slowly and lightly touch my body as his hand glide from my ankles stop at the center of my collar bone. I feel a warm breath against my ear before I hear an deep evil laughter making my eardrums ache. I squirm in pain making the rope once again tighten causing me to start tearing up.

"Harold, lights!" Someone yelled.

Immediately the bright lights turn on blinding me for a few seconds. The first face I see is an male in what looks to be his early 50's smirking at me, his eyes staring into mine like he can see my soul.

I flinch when a needle is jammed into my arm causing a slight fuzziness to my sight. As my vision is going blurry I hear a door slam shut and feel cold, rough fingers caress my upper thigh.

-----
I wake in a painful panic, my heartbeating erratically. I look around the dark room again, only how realising that I am sitting in a cold metal chair. I try to stand up with the chair, but failing. I look around the chair to see that is has been bolted to the ground. I close my eyes and huff in annoyance.

"My little precious." My head snaps around to the voice, my eyes wide. My breathing becomes short and sharp as a cold rush of liquid gets dumped on the body.

A warm breath fans my neck sending shivers across my whole body. "You know, you aren't leaving this place right. You are now mine. You are my little precious. My babydoll."

I cringe at his slurred, dark voice as he whispers in my ear. I feel a stinging sensation across my cheek, as his hand collides with my face.

"And I mean it. You will never leave here, and if you try to, you will experience more pain than a slap across your face understand." He yelled causing me to let out small squeal.

I hear heavy footsteps walking away. He starts laughing uncontrollably as he leaves the room slamming the door shut behind him.

Tears start to stream down my face as fear sets in.

I don't know how long I have been down here, but it is getting darker and colder by the second. No one has come down to check on me in a while, which is a relief in some cases. I have been sitting here with nothing to do and I am really tired but don't want to sleep due to paranoia. I legs are becoming numb due to lack of movement and my back is aching. I can't stop shivering as I am not in appropriate clothes for the temperature down here. I look around the dark room once again, even though I can't see anything.

As I squint my eyes to see if it makes my vision any better I start to hear loud crashing noises upstairs. I start to panic because I have no idea what is happening. Taking a deep breath through my nose I start to smell something intoxicating and gassy. I start coughing violently as my lungs start restricting my breathing. I again start to succumb into the pit of darkness.
---------------
I wake up to the feel of a uncomfortable mattress. I slowly open my eyes to the harsh, bright white light of the room. I take a deep breathe through my nose to only smell the sharp scent of cleaning toxins. I hear a continuous beeping noise and the sound of noisy footsteps around me.

I sit up slowly to see that I was in what looks to be a hospital, with the array of light blue curtains around me and the sound of tears, chatter, coughing and beeping of machines.

Fear slowly arrives in the pit of my stomach as I lurch if the edge of the bed and vomitted. I cringed at the horrendous smell and colour.

I hear a distrubing giggle coming from right next to my face. Jumping out of the bed away from the giggling, I ended face planting into the ground.

I stumbled up in a painc rushing to find out what the hell- rather who- giggled. Tripping over the tangled sheets I eventually see a tiny girl. She was dressed in a white hospital gown, her auburn hair was in a tangled, knotty mess- like she hasn't brushed her hair for weeks. Her tiny fragile figure was a sickly white pale with her heart shaped face and blazing green eyes. She was grinning at me like a lunatic without their medication.

A small squeal escaped my mouth as I stared at her, open-mouthed in fright. She turned her eyes into small slits as her face became serious.

Like a flash of lightning her face changed to one of innocence as she skipped out of the room slamming the door behind her.

Confusion clouded my brain as a weird overwhelming feeling covered my body sending shivers up my spine.

I walk over to the door and look out the small glass panel in it. My eyes scanned as far as they could with my restricted view but all I could see was scattering doctors and nurses trying to get to their paitents.
