"So what are you doing here" Jack asked releasing from the hug.

"Well I used to live here but then I moved with Elsa to Grandfather Manny's school" Merida explained.

"Speaking of Elsa, where is she?" Jack asked looking around.

"She's with her real grandfather" Merida replied and Jack nodded.

"And where's Angus? " he asked.

"With Elsa and enough with the questions" she exclaimed pretending to be frustrated.

"Sorry, its just feels so great to meet someone from the past" he said throwing his arms around. They both laughed.

"So when can I meet Elsa?" Jack asked scratching his head.

"Soon, very soon" Merida said smiling slyly.
Both friends continued talking.

Hiccup bit his lip. His luck can never change.

"Hic, what are you staring at" Astrid said waving her hand infront of his face.

"Oh I see, your looking at Jack talking to our head's daughter. This is so Jack, not one day has passed of his breakup and he already found someone else. He is such a player. No wonder Repunzal broke up with him. I am pretty sure he wasn't sincere with her" Astrid spat out.

Hiccup's blood boiled. No one says these things to his bestfriend." Not everyone is like you Astrid, Repunzal trusted Jack. Unlike you who is always have four detectives following me!!" He shouted with rage in his eyes.

Astrid backed up in shock. She had never seen his angry side. She quitely went inside.

Hiccup was panting hard. He finally spat the truth out. He felt proud of himself.

"Hiccup" his father shouted.

"Coming!!" He shouted running inside with a satisfied look on his face.

Elsa pov

I never felt so lonely in my life. Good thing Merida left Angus, atleast there is one fimiliar face.

As soon as I entered my so called house. My parents left me. I heard my mother muttering of getting ready for some party and my father rushing to the phone calling for the best wines in town.

One of the servants gave me a kind smile and motioned me to follow her. Angus followed me.

We finally reached the end of the hallway onthe third floor. The door opened revealing my grandfather on his deathbed.

With heavy steps I entered the room. His eyes were closed. Tears came in my eyes as when I realized that soon his eyes will close forever.

The servant placed a chair beside the bed and gestured me to sit on it.

I sat down and the servant left, closing the door behind. I turned my attention to my grandfather who's chest was rising and falling.

Sweat was on his forehead. I took out my handkerchief and gently wiped the sweat of his forehead.

His eyes immediately opened startling both us. "Elsa is that you?" He asked panting hard.

I nodded, tears coming in my eyes." Oh Elsa" he started trying to sit up.

I immediately arranged his pillows properly for him to sit." My Angel" North started tears filling his eyes and now running down his cheeks.

We both hugged eachother crying. I cried still I fell asleep on my grandfathers lap. ( she was still sitting, only her head was on his lap)

Back to Merida

"Merida this is my best friend Stoick! " her father introduced.

"My my Merida you have grown alot" Stoick joked and Merida grinned.

"Nice to meet ya again" she said shaking his hand.

Hiccup appeared suddenly.
"And this is my son H-"
"Hiccup!! Long time no see" Merida greeted.

"You...remember. ..m..me?" Hiccup stuttered shocked.

"Ofcourse, your name isn't that easy to forget....Just like your eyes" She thought the last part as her gaze had been caught again by his forest green eyes. (This line was suggested by Neriny, thank you for your help).

"My but you have changed a lot" Merida said shaking his hand and he turned red.

"Aww your still awkward and shy" she said ruffling his messy brown hair.

Hiccup blushed and gave a shy smile.

"Uhhm" someone cleared their throat. Astrid was standing there looking pissed at Merida.

"

And I am Astrid, Hiccup's faincee" she said confidently stretching out her hand.

Merida burst out laughing. Everyone gave her a strange look. Astrid felt insulted somehow. Merida stopped laughing, she wiped imaginary tears from her eyes.

"Sorry, it's just-"

"Hey! Merida come on " Jack
shouted from the crowd waving his hand.

"Sorry gotta go" she said before running towards Jack.

Stoick and Fergus also left. Astrid punched Hiccup.

"What was that for" he asked annoyed.
"For talking too much with the Head's daughter" Astrid explained glaring at him.

He just rolled his eyes. "Merida is my childhood friend, we were just catching up" he said glaring at her.

Next day

Elsa

The morning light hit Elsa's eyes as she opened them. She yawned slightly.

Her back hurt from falling asleep on her chair but her grandfather didn't want her to leave him.

She smiled seeing her grandfather's peaceful face. Time to get up, she thought and stretched. She shook her grandfather lightly, he didn't wake up. She shook harder, no response. She now frantically started shaking him, as tears rolled down her cheeks.

She couldn't even scream for help.
