"Hi Jack" Repunzal nervously greeted.
"Hello Punz, how's my sunshine" he asked smiling.

"Me?,..I am good"she said smiling uneasily.

"Punz you look worried, is there a problem?" Jack asked worried.

"No..I mean yes" Repunzal said looking down.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Jack I am sorry but"-"I..am..breaking....up...with..you" she mumbled tears slipping down her face.

"Wait what!!" Jack shouted.
Everyone started looking at them.

"Jack calm down" Repunzal said gesturing to the hundred pair of eyes staring at them.

"No I won't. Please tell me your lying Punz" He shouted. His face crumpling as tears started streaming down his face.

He tried to reach out for her hand.

"No I am not!! You have to let me go!" She shouted back." I dont love you!! No one can!!!" She shouted stepping back.

"Fine!! I am letting you go but remember I will always be there for you" He shouted running away.

He had never felt so much hurt or embarrassed. Repunzal's words echoed in his mind " No one can". He was running towards the only fimilair place there was.

It started to rain like any typical movie scene. Jack just kept running, Everyone stopped working and were staring at the heart broken boy.

Repunzal stood still like a statue, her golden hair sticking on her face because of the rain. She never meant anything but she couldn't do anything about it. " I am sorry Jack" she whispered. The rain poured on to her as darkness took over the sky and Mother Gothel joined.

"You did the right thing dear" Gothel said rubbing Repunzal's shoulders and taking her home.

With Jack

"Hiccup!! Open the door" Jack shouted he was now soaking wet.

"Coming"a muffled voice shouted from inside.

"Jack? What happened"Hiccup asked seeing Jack's pain striken face.

Jack was breathing heavily,"Punz, hates me" was all he managed to say and Hiccup hugged his best friend.

"Its ok, I am here" Hiccup said rubbing his friends back.

"No no no you don't understand she hates"
Jack couldn't complete the sentence, instead he broke into sobs.

"Lets go inside" Hiccup suggested.

Meanwhile

Merida and Elsa were on their way to their hometown. The farewell was hard but they managed to say goodbye.

Merida kept a sharp eye for the road and making notes about the direction. In case they had to runaway.

Elsa was sleeping soundly. Her dog Angus was sleeping beside her. Merida couldn't sleep she had to stay alert. For their safety. She couldn't trust Elsa's parents about anything maybe this is a planned murder.

The Next day

They finally reached GreeSherry. Merida peeked out of the window to see her father standing with other police officers assigning them their positions.

Beside him a another man was standing with the same built as his. He had a long beard which had braids in it.

Beside that man a girl about her age was standing in a police uniform. Her golden hair was plaited onto a braid and her blue eyes were focused onthe passerby's.

Merida felt a tap on her shoulder to see Elsa smiling at her.

Elsa pov

I was so happy to see so many poeple had come to meet me. The police group had a hard time to control them.

I spotted Merida looking at her father. It had been 6 years since the last she saw him.
She couldn't wait to meet him

I wish I could say the same for my father. This was going to be very awkward.

The car finally stopped. My parents opened the door and my father gently took my hand and pulled me out.

Merida was suspiciously looking at them. We got off the car and was about to go inside when suddenly Mom stopped Merida.

"You have been given leave for sometime" Mom dismissed her. Merida got angry but she stopped instead she stooped down to Angus and whispered something to her. Angus wagged her tail and licked Merida.

Then it turned to me. Angus jumped on me, good thing I kept my balance and didn't fall.

Merida hand signaled me saying i am leaving Angus for your safety.

With Jack

"Do i have to go?" I whined.

"Ofcourse, dad is dragging me with him and I need you to keep me company or I have to spend the whole evening with dad and his friends children" Hiccup reasoned.

"Ok i pity you" Jack joked and Hiccup rolled his eyes in reply.

Outside Police Station

"Toothless isn't allowed so he has to be tied out" Stoick ordered.

"But dad!!" Hiccup whined.

"Dont worry Stromfly will keep him company" Astrid said putting her hand on his shoulder.

"I feel bad for him" Hiccup mumbled taking her hand off.

"You just got burned" Jack teased.
"Well atleast not my heartbroken like yours" she shot back and joined Hiccup who was entering the police station.

"Astrid Hofferson!!" He shouted.

"Soon to be Haddock" she shouted back forcefully holding Hiccup's hand.

Jack was about to reply back but a voice cut him off.

"Jack?!! Is that you?!" A voiced called.

The voice somewhat sounded fimiliar but he couldn't put his finger where he heard it.

He turned to see a fimiliar red curls. What was her name? Mira?, Melissa? Merinda? No no Merida? Yeah Merida.

"Merida is that you?!!" He shouted.

"Jack it really is you" she shouted and engulfed him in a bear hug.

He lifted her off the ground hugging back tightly. Note this isn't a Jerida book their just surprised and happy to see eachother. I am a hardcore Merricup and Jelsa shipper.

"Well thats Jack for you, one goes, other comes" Hiccup mumbled sadly. He for the first time felt jealous of his friend. He had seen this girl before. Her name is Merida and he met her when they were 6. She was hard to forget with her curly red hair. Their fathers were friends and and they used to meet very often.Does she remember me he thought.

Old times flashed in his minds. How much fun they use to have together.
