"Goodbye Jack, I had a great time as usaul" Repunzal said, giving Jack a smile.

"Glad that my service has made my Queen happy" Jack said giving a small bow.

They were walking back home, after a long day of cycling and then later a picnic.

Repunzal's smile faded, when she saw her mother looking disapproving at Jack from behind the windows of her house.

"Jack you should go now, my mom is watching us" Repunzal said worriedly.

"Oh ok Punzie, dont worry. Meet you tommorow. You know our place 4 pm" he whispered.

Repunzal nodded and went inside. Jack stood there until she went safely inside her house.

Jack then turned his direction to the BlackSmith's shop.

"Hi Hiccup" he said entering the shop.
"And hi Toothless" he said kneeling to the black dog who had come to greet him.

"Hi Jack, how was your date?" Hiccup shouted from inside his workshop.

"Oh great as always" Jack replied taking a apple from the fancy fruit basket which was set onthe table.

"Where did the fancy fruit basket come from?" He asked.

"Astrid visited" Hiccup said glumly.

Astrid was Hiccup's fiancee, it was arranged engagement. Both of their fathers were inthe police and became best friends . When they later got married and one had a daughter and other a son. "Ooh what happend now?" Jack asked taking a bite of the apple.

"She saw me talking to Mr Williams daughter and punched her right inthe face and wasn't even punished because her dad is inthe police" Hiccup explained coming out his workshop.

"Read the card" he said.

Jack finally noticed a red card poking out. "Sorry for being irrational again" Jack read.

" I swear this girl is gonna be the death of me. You know what girls call me when go around the village" Hiccup said holding his head frustrated.

"What?" Jack asked amused.

"Brother Henry, its like I am the official brother of all the girls onthe village. Even women my mother's age call me brother".

"Well they say, better safe than sorry" Jack said cracking up.

"I dont even know, why i am even friends with you" Hiccup said playfully glaring at him.

"I have suggestion that can save you from marrying Astrid" Jack said tossing the apple core in his hands.

"What?" Hiccup asked looking hopeful.

"Become a Nun, we really need some" Jack said cracking up again.

"Ha ha ha very funny, I am so lucky to have friend that gives such wise suggestion's" Hiccup said rolling his eyes.

"You need, to find a girl who is as furious as Astrid. Who isn't afraid to fight Astrid for you. Some who is caring and kind, also not too possessive. Some one different from the other girls. Someone like ..like." Jack said thinking hard.

"Yes grandfather Manny" Merida replied feeling anxious after seeing Manny's tense face.

"Read this" he said simply handing her a letter.

Merida with shaking hands took the letter from Manny, it said.

Manny my dear friend, My doctors have said I have not much time left in this world. I believe them because i have become very ill and I now know that my time has to an end. Dear friend I owe you alot. Please do one more favour,and send my lovely granddaughter and her companion Merida back to GreeSherry village. I want to spend my last breaths with my dear granddaughter.

"Sir North is dying" Merida whispered and Manny nodded sadly.

"I can't believe it" Merida said taking support from the chair.

"Me neither and the part that scares me the most is that, Elsa has to live with those! those!! Murderers!!!" Manny said standing up , shouting with anger.

"Cough !!cough !!!cough!!! cough!!" Manny started coughing violently, clutching his chest.

"Grandfather please dont shout, its not good for you health" Merida pleaded , handing him a glass of water.

"Merida promise me you will take care of her, she is too innocent, she trusts poeple easily. She can't even scream for help if she is in trouble. She is my innocent white lamb but you, you are my brave lion. Protect her from all evil" Manny pleaded caressing Merida's wild locks.

"I will protect her with my life, she is like a sister to me. Dont worry grandfather your lion will protect your lamb."

"Go tell her the news", he whispered. Merida nodded and left the room to find Elsa.

"Elsa!" Merida shouted.

Elsa was sitting onthe window seat in her room, hearing the cheerful shouts and laughter of the kids playing onthe opposite field.

I wish I could shout and laugh like that she wished.

"Elsa!!" Merida shouted, Elsa turned her attention to her friend.

"Elsa.. I have news" she said panting from all the running.

Elsa made signs from her hand, which meant. "What news"

"We are going to GreeSherry, to your grandfather" Merida replied.

The colour from Elsa's cheeks drained, GreeSherry brought horrible memories.

She immediately stood up and shook her head violently. As to say "absolutely no no no no and no" .

"Elsa i know, GreeSherry brings back horrible memories but your grandfather is dying" Merida explained.

Elsa face now turned from horrified to sad and she again made hand gestures which meant ," your lying right?"

"I wish I was but its true. He wants to spend the last moments of his life with you" Merida said her eyes down cast.

Elsa then asked , "will we come back?"

"No, unfortunately this is goodbye"

"Repunzal we need to talk" Mother Gothel said in her serious tone.

"Yes mother" Repunzal replied worried.

"This is about Jack right?" She asked.

"Yes its about Jackson
Repunzal dear, its time you get settled. I let you have your fun but now you need to get settled, find a good husband and start your family.
Jackson is a irresponsible boy who doesn't get serious, he is poor and doesn't even have a job. He is considered as a weirdo and a loner by the villagers"

"Listen to me, your the most prettiest girl inthe village. You have many admirers. You can easily get married in a well off family. Marrying Jackson will only cause you trouble and hardships".

"Mother love is enough for me"

"Repunzal this isn't a fairytale, I know what's best for you. Remember mother knows best"

"Yes mother" Repunzal said sadly.

"Now now Repunzal let me show you someone" Gothel said guiding Repunzal to the door
