Author's POV

3 Days Later

The sun was high up in the sky. The small white puffy clouds were scattered across it. The rays of the shining sun reached the entire city and lit it up. The wind flew by and carried a small amount of dust with it as it ran throughout the entire place. It was indeed a beautiful late Friday afternoon.

The Han river was glistening in all its glory as the cars drove by on the bridge right above it. On the same road, there was a specific black Bugatti Noir, which carried two certain males, whom we know very well.

Yoongi was driving a fumingly mad and pouty Jin to the most expensive restaurant in the city which was right near the Han river itself.

How do they have the time to go off work right now? Well, you see, Jin recently just finished an ongoing case which was a seemingly phenomenal case currently nation-wide. And today was when the case was finished and officially closed. So Jin got to get off work quickly.

But Yoongi took that to his advantage, by forcing Jin to go to the restaurant in the 'celebration' of it. Yoongi, obviously took a day off from work, he had already helped many clients this week, anyways, so it was fine. Jin, on the other hand, was very aware that his best friend for a FACT wasn't only taking him there for a celebration but also because of the said meet up they fixed up with Joon.

Out of rage at Yoongi's trick, he tried to stop the lad from driving, which resulted in them nearly crashing at least 3 times on the long highway. Regardless of being a criminal mastermind, Jin really could be a baby, couldn't he?

"Ok Jin, I know you're mad, but come on, it's just socialising with a few people and chilling out for a bit-"

"I can NOT chill out when there is going to be a random stranger and that fucking animal that I hate the most coming over there, MIN YOONGI!" He fumed at the said male with wrath and rage.

Yoongi finally sighed with exhaustion, he was actually physically fatigued too, by how much he had to drag his surprising pig of a friend. Jin might look thin and a little lanky but the man was about the weight of a fucking elephant, goddamit

"Well, suck it up, tiger, you got no choice. Do it for me-"

"Oh fuck off already!"

The ride after those few words was completely silent, but there was obviously a deep frown on the younger's face throughout the next 30 minutes to the place. Yoongi truly wondered if Jin was having a headache by frowning so MUCH, at this point.

At the Restaurant.

The two early males, who were slightly earlier than the decided time, were currently seated on their reserved seats that were right next to an elegant window with antique mesmerising borders.

The restaurant was gigantic, a place that looked like a grand palace's dining area, to be specific. The ceilings were up high, hanging elegant yet fairly small chandeliers at every 5 metres of distance. The walls were crafted skillfully with attention given to every single intricate detail of it and the pillars around it. Both the ceilings and walls had paintings of a very fascinating landscape of mountains in a pleasant hue of warm colours.

Fresh white and light pink roses and various types of flowers were inside the unnecessarily big vases. The white marbled floor matched the colour of all the interior accessories along with the aesthetically pleasing lights.

A string quartet that was on the fancy stage in front of all the tables, played Beethoven's String Quartet No.14 in C-Sharp minor, Op.131: 7.Allegro. Filling the dazzling palace-like place with dark angsty music, matching the serious faces and dark suits of all those stupid rich people sitting around anxiously waiting for their business meetings to start.

There was also a piano with a pianist sitting there but he wasn't particularly playing anything, currently. Waiters ran around with their trays raised up on one hand and serving with another to all those demanding people.

Time was ticking and only two people were in the reserved seat mentioned before. Yoongi eyed his watch and Jin was plotting his escape silently in his brain.

"Don't you even think about it."

Yoongi warned in a low voice as he glanced at the beautiful river which was reflecting the light of the sun in a crooked manner due to its waves. It was as if the elder read the younger's brain...again.

Jin raised a brow, not even surprised at this point, he shook his head as he let out a loud sigh while drowning more into his seat with his hands crossed.

Yoongi then soon remembered something and called a waiter. When the needed person came, Yoongi leaned in and whispered something into the man's ear. The waiter gave him a nod and headed off.

Jin was now even more suspicious with a frown on his handsome face. "What was that about?"

"You'll see"

Silence filled the area again and the musicians were the only ones carrying out the mood of the entire building and its people.

Meanwhile, the two missing people were currently getting out of their car and walking towards the grand entrance of the place. Both males came directly from work as well, resulting in one of them wearing a navy blue suit with a cream tie and the other wearing a brown sweater over a whiter shirt, revealing his collars on top of it and a normal dark brown long coat. Oh, and! The cliche round glasses made the shortest male look like the nerdy psychologist he was.

Namjoon was internally smirking at how his plan was finally all coming together and Jimin was just admiring the interior as soon as he entered. None of the pairs noticed each other until...

Yoongi turned his head to his side after eying his watch again, it was exactly 4 PM now, and his eyes unintentionally landed at the entrance.

Jimin fixed his coat and he slightly ran his fingers through his bangs since they were getting in his sight. He looked right ahead of him and saw someone, whom he only....saw in pictures, or perhaps in real life too.

As if on cue, the piano started echoing around the hall changing the mood of the music into a piece which sounded as if a lover was staring at the love of his life at the balcony under the moonlight. It sounded like the warmth you feel when you are in the arms of the person you cherish the most, like the only thing your eyes crave to see are the orbs of that person and just get lost in their infinite...universe.

The heart-flattering piece's name was Clair de Lune. Moonlight in french. A fascinating word to describe love and beauty at the same time.

It was as if time slowed itself down just for this very moment. Heartbeats slowed yet loudly thumped like a subtle waltz. Breaths became heavy yet deeper and longer. Eyes blinked gradually as they flattered at the sight. Bodies became frozen and immobile as nobody presented a single action. Minds were empty as if recollecting the moment without truly understanding what it was.

And that's exactly when the time had done its job. Heartbeats fastened, breaths quickened, eyes blinked rapidly, and chests felt heavier at the pounding of the human organ. The stomach felt as if flooded with some sort of moving organisms.

The said two being's minds flooded with a million thoughts per second. Both of them were beyond perplexed with their eyes wide and opening slowly. It was as if the universe intended them to meet...once again.

Yoongi's cold chest felt...ticklish in some ways. It was funny how the scene that he remembered from years ago came right back at him and had a greater effect on him this time.

The man could never truly feel something so natural and pure with anyone or anything. It was as if it was something that could only have happened naturally and not forcefully. Perhaps nature wanted to gift Yoongi.

"Y...Yoongi-shi?"

The soft delicate voice echoed through the distance, grabbing the attention of the male who was sitting in front of said person.

Yoongi's soul nearly cried at how enchanting his voice still was. He couldn't believe that he saw him again. But when did he truly...meet him?

Flashback- 2 Years Ago

Jimin first saw Yoongi, when he was in the courthouse, watching a trial take place from the audience area. His colleague was actually the defendant in the case, due to him being charged for an allegation of attempted murder of his own client. And currently..the trial was not going well for him.

By how the case was going, it felt as though he would get a huge sentence for something that he might have not done. Because there was no evidence to proof his innocence

Though, maybe God had mercy on the said defendant because Min Yoongi was his attorney.

The lawyer at the last minute pulled up a point which led the entire case in a whole different direction. This allowed them to persuade the Judge to let them give their primary evidence which they got at the last second through the sources Yoongi put into the new suspect that he had in his mind from the beginning. And before you know it, the charges against the defendant were profoundly dropped and he was found not guilty!

That was the exact day when Jimin got truly astonished and impressed by someone. Yes, Namjoon might have shocked him in the past, but this man just...attacked his soul.

He loved Yoongi's confidence. He loved how manipulative he could be and how he thought 5 steps ahead of everyone else. The way that he used his words was beyond the understanding of people even IN the field. It was like the man MADE fate be on his side in every case.

No wonder he was called, 'Mr Last Minute Hero'. Because even if everything was falling apart, the man ran his hand between the most narrow and dangerous of ways and grabbed any opportunity. How? Because he kept his will to do high. And Jimin absolutely respected that!

Since then, whenever the small man finished his work early or had free time, he would go to see any trial with Min Yoongi in it. I have no idea how he knows which trial the man is but well, I guess he was quite the stalker. Because well, he's had numerous times tried searching about Yoongi and since the lawyer was pretty phenomenal, getting info about him was in Jimin's favour.

Over that year, Jimin could proudly say that he saw nearly ALL of Yoongi's trials. Regardless of that, Yoongi never EVER noticed him or recognised him somehow. Probably because Jimin always sat at the very back, hidden, and in slight disguise like a cap or mask at times.

And he came to the conclusion that...this man was unique in some ways. Jimin didn't exactly know what it was about him, his thinking, his approach to things, his working style, or that brain of his. But all of it somehow made Jimin want to understand him as a whole and the most irritating part was...he couldn't.

Looking at Yoongi, he seemed to be normal, smart, slightly quirky in the manner and smooth in technique, a flirt, type of guy. But that's exactly what made Jimin frustrated, because the male even from afar, seemed like a difficult puzzle to get through. It was as if he created an illusion which seemed easy to solve but it actually wasn't even real. The real puzzle was hidden somewhere deeper.

And Jimin wanted to figure out that mystery...no matter what.

It would look like Jimin was in some sort of love with the lawyer but in his eyes...it was just simple curiosity. So he didn't truly see it as love.

But one day, Jimin was heading into the most renowned law firm in the country, Meesong Law.

No, he didn't need an attorney, a well-known criminal defence lawyer needed him to be an expert witness in a case, so that's why he called Jimin to come and give him some information about the defendant and just you know...stuff, I guess.

As Jimin went to the overly-fancy elevator area after passing under a grand chandelier which was in the gigantic lobby area, he felt his guts going weird. It was as if something was going to happen and his body was given an early signal for preparation.

Jimin didn't know what was going to happen, though. Or maybe it was just the thought of being in the same law firm building as where the great, Min Yoongi, worked. That was a possibility, especially after how obsessed he became with the man that was the reasonable explanation for him.

He pressed the button to the elevator which was behind two cream marble walls with random slightly pinkish wave lines flowing around.

Jimin looked at his wrist and slid the sleeve of his long coat to reveal his expensive Rolex which had borders and straps of Midnight blue colour and checked the time.

He was wearing a dirty greyish-white turtle neck which was tucked under baggy blue-grey trousers which were lifted until his waist. They were also tucked loosely under his long chocolate brown platform shoes. Over all of that, he wore a navy blue long coat. He also had a diary in his hand of the same colour along with a dark blue bag hung over his shoulder. Jimin was absolutely obsessed with the said colour and many shades of it actually. No wonder his entire house was filled with blue.

As he was flipping through his diary he felt a new presence beside him. He didn't mind because obviously, the other person was also waiting for the same elevator. Though, he did give him a quick glance and didn't realise whom he saw. A few split seconds passed before Jimin gave the man beside him another glanced and nearly gasped aloud.

It was him! Min Yoongi!

So his subconscious WAS right!!!

Jimin's eyes widened as he couldn't stop staring at the person with whom he had been obsessed for nearly a year and now this human was RIGHT beside him. You don't know how rapidly Jimin's heart was beating. It felt as if it was beating so much that it would suddenly stop with fatigue and die right there. The psychologist's cheeks flushed and his entire body was an internal mess.

He couldn't help but observe the lawyer that he admired from afar. Yoongi was surprisingly a few centimetres shorter than him, though he still had his bold, confident, and gangster-type aura, even as he simply checked his phone.

The said person was wearing an expensive dark grey suit with pale thin uniform lines in both horizontal and vertical order. He also had a silver Rolex on his left wrist along with many shiny metal rings covering nearly all of his fingers, making them look oh so sexy.

The more Jimin observed him the more he got lost in his thoughts. The male had piercing holes in both of his ears, lips, and eyebrows, His hair was handsomely styled as one section of it was gelled right over his eye and the other half gelled flat towards the side, revealing half of his forehead.

Jimin stared at his personal favourite feature of the male, the eyes. Eyes were the window to one's soul, he believed. And right when he looked into those precious cat eyes, his heart felt attacked. They showed the innocence of a cute little kitty. It was as if the entire universe was settled in those eyes along with pure beauty.

Remember when Jimin thought that he didn't love this man? Yeah, he immediately took his thoughts back. He most definitely was in love and if he was not, then after observing Yoongi closer than ever, he damn well fell SOOO hard in love that he fell harder than falling off his high chair for the 10th time.

As he was practically staring at Yoongi like a fucking creep, the said man noticed the intense gaze and turned his head to look at the other. He was about to say something, not until the ethereal beauty slapped him in the face and just kicked into his heart.

Yoongi was a hard man to get to. He might present as if you got close to him...but you didn't. Because no one could. No one could understand him or blow his mind to a certain point. But Jimin...he just...he just went beyond blowing his mind at just first sight.

He was the most beautiful man Yoongi had ever seen. But it wasn't even that beauty which grabbed his attention, it was what he saw in his eyes. Yoongi had not a single clue what kind of signals his alarms were giving him or what his guts were telling him. But all he knew was this man was not going to leave his mind...for a while.

Both pairs of eyes lost into each other, trying to understand how their guards, which were always extremely high, lowered just at a simple yet long gaze.

The elegantly lovely silent stare was broken when the elevator dinged at its arrival. Both eyes blinked repeatedly after coming out of their thoughts. Red hue covered Jimin's cheeks quickly as he averted his eyes from the shorter. Yoongi did the same as he bit his lips looking down at his hand, which was holding his black leather briefcase bag.

He cleared his throat before looking at the elevator. Jimin glanced at him once again. Yoongi pointed his hand towards the elevator, politely signalling Jimin to enter first.

Soon they both entered, Yoongi and Jimin were both about to press the same button before their hands collided and well, Jimin couldn't have died more internally. Yoongi chuckled before pressing the button to floor 48.

"Looks like we're going to the same floor, huh?" He commented and Jimin just nervously chuckled back.

Silence landed again on them for a few seconds before Yoongi really couldn't help the flirt inside him creeping out.

"So why were you staring at me? Was there something on my face or...I'm just so freaking handsome that you couldn't resist?"

He said as the doors closed and both of them looked at the doors, all along with no one to interrupt for now. Jimin loved it yet he was embarrassed after what just happened.

Now, over the year, as Jimin slightly stalked him, he got to see how he acted outside the courtroom as well. And the thing was, the man was a complete player and heart-stealer. He was a flirt in simple words, as said before. He would always have his way around people oh so smoothly and also with words. Even when he was not flirting, he made awkward situations enjoyable and funny. He seemed like that one joyous yet really cheesy social butterfly, basically.

A smirk appeared on Yoongi's face as he caught the taller, slightly biting his lips at the question.

When it came to this man, Jimin was an uncontrollable mess. But he really likes his flirt side and no matter what it takes he will do his best to show his crush that he wasn't one of those stupid panicked subs. He wanted to make sure that he is remembered. And this was exactly what made his confidence come out, for Yoongi.

He mischievously smiled as he looked at the man.

"Maybe? But if it made you so uncomfortable then why didn't you stop me, huh?" His smile turned into a mocking smirk and Yoongi couldn't help but coo internally.

"It actually didn't, you know. Your entire face just attacked my heart so harshly that neither could I take my eyes off yours."

He shrugged as he let out his mind casually. Yoongi was shooting his shot. His way of seeing if the person in front of him is the type that Yoongi thinks he is.

Jimin wouldn't lie, but his heart nearly skipped a beat at his words. Oh was the man EXACTLY Jimin's type! Like at this point, Jimin felt as though he could just...be natural with him and the other man would still appreciate him. It was just something about him that made Jimin feel that way. Comfortable, you can say, he felt.

He gave out his beautiful signature crescent moon grin which made his eyes disappear, nearly. A giggle followed which made Yoongi go weak in his heart.

The male jokingly held his chest as he looked at him with shock.

"How are you not in jail yet?" He spoke and made Jimin confused due to his eyebrows raising.

"Excuse me-"

"That smile and giggle should be illegal, you know! You practically stole my heart and I'm afraid that I will have to take legal charges against you, sir" Yoongi continued with his fake strictness as he shook his head at the last.

At the realisation, Jimin laughed loudly once again, loving Yoongi more than ever, already.

"Well, do whatever you want, but I'm not giving it back to you~" He chimed as he smiled at him once again.

Yoongi showed his gummy smile back and made Jimin's heart flutter once again. He this time brought his hand closer to Jimin.

"I'm Yoongi, Min Yoongi. I'm sure you know me by how famous I am!" He flipped his fake imaginary hair before bringing his hand back again and shaking it with Jimin.

The said male chuckled one last before nodding his head.

"Of course I'm aware. The great Min Yoongi!" He said in a childishly grand voice. They both were having an amazing time regardless of just spending a few minutes together.

"Well, what about you? I wouldn't miss knowing the name of a beauty like you." He smirked as he shamelessly flirted.

Right then, to their dismay, the elevator dinged once again, and slowly opened its doors to the floor.

Jimin looked at the outside floor and back at Yoongi.

"Actually...I won't tell you, because that will just make you MORE curious and desperate to find me."

Jimin said as if he was joking but well, he wasn't. Yes, his name won't be in Yoongi's head, but he was damn sure that Yoongi would always be curious about him.

"Are you giving me permission to go on and stalk you to find out as much personal info about you as possible?" Yoongi once again said being his quirky self as they both got out.

Jimin stopped to turn to him and looked him straight in the eye. That's probably one thing that he would love if Yoongi did. He also liked being obsessed over by his crush so...why not?

"Perhaps? Now, it was great meeting you in person, Yoongi-sii. If the universe truly wants us to be in each other's lives then I'm sure, we shall cross paths again.

"Will you tell me your name if we do?"

"I will"

The two grinned before turning around slowly after giving each other one last look and parting away. Surprisingly, neither of them wanted to go. But it was their guards that came back up high. Telling them that perhaps they shouldn't let themselves be harmed due to just a certain person getting close to their hearts.

They didn't want to let go, but it was the fear of losing everything...that made it happen.

Regardless of parting ways after finalising that Jimin really shouldn't be giving his heart to someone, he couldn't help but still keep his eyes on Yoongi. He didn't do it in his normal human form but in the invisible one.

He always kept an eye on Yoongi from afar, making sure that he was ok. Wanting to keep his heart at ease by knowing that someone he wanted some much, was doing fine.

The more he thought about Yoongi and love in itself, the more he thought he should just remain alone so nobody gets hurt and no secrets get harmed. But the more he looked at his love the harder it was to let go. So looking at him through the shadows was the only thing Jimin could do.

He never interfered with Yoongi's life by going closer to him and crossing the line that he made in his mind. He COULD go and watch Yoongi sleep soundly at night...but he didn't. It'd just made it harder for him to keep away from him. Harder than it already was.

For Yoongi...he always had the image of the man constantly revolving around his mind. Regardless of nearly years passing, he couldn't help but remember that same crescent-moon smile whenever he felt sad or broken.

He knew that a man like him didn't deserve to love. A man who killed so many innocent people...didn't deserve to feel loved nor happy. He would end up getting the love of his life in severe danger and probably hurt him as well. So it was probably better if he just...never tried to find more about that unknown man.

Because sometimes it's better to just let go instead of risking the ones you love.

And that's how the years passed with none of them meeting each other ever again. They didn't want to admit it...but after meeting each other, they were the only ones they could truly love. No one touched their heart like they touched each other's.

Will the two ever find the love they painfully long for...or end up losing it again?

I know it's a Namjin book, but I can't help but absolutely squeal over the new Yoonmin ship! Do you think their relation will be better?
