Author's POV

Jin's eyes immediately snapped open at the sound. He actually was half awake, when heard a slight whisper, I mean he didn't hear the whole thing because I think he woke up by the end of the sentence. But he did hear a slight giggle, which kind of sounded familiar to him, but he couldn't think about it just yet, because he was fully awoken by the loud thud sound that echoed around the huge room.

He instantly sat up and started looking around while breathing heavily.

He couldn't really find anything or anyone as he looked around but his eyes quickly widened when he saw a small figure that sat on the ground, in the very far corner of the room that was on the other side.

He couldn't help but gasp lightly, it was...his doll.

And he was seeing it after such a long time since the last encounter. But his expression quickly wore off after remembering that...his doll will just leave him again. His cold poker face appeared again.

Jin was way more than sure, that this doll was far from normal, it was a paranormal doll. It was just too strange to not be. Like its sudden appearance and disappearance, it just made it too obvious.

He calmly stood up and slowly started walking towards it. Only the sound of the AC could be heard in the room before Seokjin decided to speak up.

"So you are here again..." He darkly chuckled before continuing.

"To cause more destruction to others? Well, I'm not complaining. But...why? Why am I the only one that you don't hurt?" He spoke his thoughts out loud.

Jin's head was filled with questions and bewilderment. He walked closer to the doll and finally picked it up. He kept speaking all thoughts he had been suppressing for years while deeply looking at it.

"I know you're no ordinary doll, you're far from that. But how do you keep coming into my life? How do you always know where I am? And then why do you keep disappearing?"

For some reason, very subtle pain was laced in his voice, especially in the last sentence. Maybe it was the past loneliness that was creeping up on him again. "

I...I told you, I will keep you, so...how dare you keep leaving me?

Even to Jin, saying that sounded beyond weird, but his inner younger self that had been trapped inside his dark and cold heart is still all alone. The pain and anger of being left by that one thing that gave him warmth for the first time in his life have always been inside him. So he just had to let that anger out, regardless of how cringy it sounded.

But after saying that, his eyes caught a glimpse of something that was inside the right side of the doll's suit. He slightly opened the suit slowly and a small piece of paper was revealed to him.

He took out the paper and then gently pressed the doll between his chest and forearm so that it wouldn't fall down as his both hands were going to be occupied. He then opened the paper and saw a few words scribbled on it in small handwriting. Due to the darkness, he couldn't quite see the writing, even though there was slight city light coming out of his wall-sized window and the small size of the writing wasn't helping as well.

So he quickly rushed to his nightstand and turned on his lamp. He picked up his glasses from the nightstand and wore them before starting to read the vintage handwriting. And well... he was beyond shocked at what it said.

'If you want to keep me, then love me like crazy, cuz I love you crazy'

Jin's mind was in complete bewilderment, shock, and confusion, resulting in his lips parting with surprise.

Were these the...words of his doll? But...how, why? If it WERE the words of his doll, then just how? How could a doll fall for him, just how?

Jin tried looking at the doll that was supposed to be in his arm, but to his dismay...the doll had already taken off. He sighed knowing that it disappeared but before slight sadness could take over...realisation did.

He just realised that he first heard a giggle, then saw his doll, and now this! His brain instantly started becoming a mess worse than before. He just couldn't understand what was happening. And the giggle...he was 200 hundred percent sure that he heard it before, he was too sure. But he didn't know where. It sounded so identical to one specific person's giggle that he couldn't help but force his brain to really think and remember where he heard it before.

And well just then he remembered that the giggle was exactly like...Namjoon's.

Jin frowned deeply at the realisation and was rethinking if he was just going insane or not. But he heard it, he really did hear the giggle, and that's how he woke up! So there was no way that it WASN'T real and it was just his mind playing tricks on him due to constantly thinking about Joon.

Before he could get even more paranoid, his phone started ringing loudly, making him zone out immediately and flinch slightly. He looked at the caller ID and frowned since it was an unknown number and the call came at such a time of the night. Regardless of that, he still picked up the phone and put it to his ear.

"Hello?"

"Hello, it's been such a long time since I've talked to you!" Jin heard a masculine voice which he didn't quite know if he recognised or not.

"Who is this?" He asked in his usual cold voice.

"Wow, it's been this long that you don't remember me now? You know who I am, Julian." Right after hearing that name, that's when he realised who this person was.

"Boss?"

The person on the other line just sighed in relief. "Thank God you finally remembered me or I would have thought you ACTUALLY completely forgot about me."

Both of the males chuckled. Though, the 'Boss' continued speaking.

"So are you like done with that hiatus of yours? Because this time...I have an exciting one for you."

Jin smirked darkly and replied back. "Well, not really, but tell me first, if it's actually that interesting...then I might actually end it quicker for it."

The other person just chuckled.

"Still the same, Julian, straight to the point and no bullshit taking man." He sighed before continuing.

"So this time, you have to take care of 4 people and it will be in two locations. You have to basically finish a family, first the parents at an event and then the children in a mansion. You will also have to frame the neighbour's somehow for the children's death as well. And as a special request, I want the children tortured and their parents killed in front of the people. The targets are also in Germany, so that's where the mission will take place."

Jin's eyebrows raised and the excitement inside him already started building. He was so ready for this.

And oh, if you haven't guessed by now, then yeah, Jin was well... an assassin.

Well, he was currently on a hiatus due to all the work he had in his cover job as a judge. But well since the man didn't like living in complete boredom, that's why he was an assassin because it was just so thrilling and fun for him.

The risk of getting in trouble and the adrenaline he got from killing someone were ecstatic for him. He was actually one of the best assassins in Asia so far because of his brain and how many people he killed without ever getting caught.

Julian was also his code name which he chose. The meaning of the name was both very opposite to his personality but similar at the same time. It meant to be youthful and lively. But it was also another meaning for 'Jove's child'. Which was a saying for wise and intelligent which Jin absolutely was.

"Hmm. Doesn't sound as bad as I thought." He commented.

"Exactly! That's why come out of your hiatus already and don't even dare decline this mission because that best friend of yours, August D is also joining."

Jin's eyebrows raised even more. Well August D or August you could say was the only dude in the entire world that Jin never used and hated. He was the only person that Jin actually enjoyed the company of but never admitted to of course. They were really close as well but to others, it looked as if one of them hated the other hdue to his is behaviour. Sp basically they were besties.

They both had very different personalities and mindsets, yet they clicked really well together. August could seem as though he was a pretty stern on the outside but he was genuinely a nice guy to the people he was close with unlike Jin. :D

Also, Agust was his code name obviously just a code name of his. August and Jin were so close that they even knew each other's real names and they were the only people who knew each other's real names, unlike other agents.

August D's actual name was, Yoongi, Min Yoongi. So well he doesn't use people as Jin did but he IS a pretty selfish guy. He's more of the type that likes torture and grotesque stuff but he does that in his free time. His role usually in group missions is to be the hacker and stuff, the sabotager. Though, he did use to be an excellent hitman and still works sometimes as a sniper.

So now since August was joining, Jin or whom we can refer to as Julian was definitely going to accept this mission. He didn't even have to think twice about it.

"Since the mission seems pretty fun and August is joining as well...yeah...my hiatus has ended"

Hello! I'm alive, unfortunately- But first of sorry for such a late update, I just didn't know what the hell to write and was lazy so...:P But another thing is that, my book is already extremely very close to reaching its first milestone.

Like....WHAT THE HELL?! HOW?!

IT'S A CRAPPY BOOK YET IT STILL SOMEHOW REACHED 1K READS! And because of who? Because of YOU! YES YOU!
