Now as we have already seen, Devil Levinor loves his human, Jin. But I'm sure we are all wondering how he truly found his feelings for the being. So why not jump into the dark flashbacks of the past?

Flashback

It was the same day, same month, same year, same time, as the incident that happened with Jin in the past when he was 11. It was a stormy day with total darkness all around due to the cloudy night sky. This was a perfect environment for the dark angels or criminals to hunt for a prey to torment with pain and kill eventually. But it was going to be harder because not many people were roaming around in this chaotically heavy thunderstorm, so there were fewer chances of finding a prey. Though, that didn't stop prince Levinor from going out in the wild for some fun.

During this time, Levinor was a prince. It will be later explained how he became a king. Anyways, the prince always loved killing some mere mortals when things in the kingdom were going quite...bland for his taste. Basically, when nothing interesting happened, he would like to always go and enjoy himself while killing a few humans with as much pain as he wanted. He would always transform into his doll form, first though, and THEN attract some beings. This helped easily make them paranoid, which gave more chances to Joon for taking control of their brains.

But today was a slightly different day compared to others. Today he wasn't only going to kill for fun, but to also stop this stupid and annoying hunt that was going around his fellow demons, dark princes, and dark angels. You see, as it was mentioned before, there is one human being that has the...Cursed Blood currently running through his veins and nearly all the souls in the Dark world were hunting crazily over that one being.

His blood could make anyone extremely strong and it was a great opportunity for all the dark princes and angels to get more powerful so that they could finally become the 8th Devil of the universe. Yes, currently, in the Dark World, the 7 Devils were deciding on who's going to be the 8th and last devil of the universe.

The system of having kings and choosing them was very different in hell. Here, it was treated as a competition. There will be nominees that will be in the running to become the next devil. They will get a certain amount of time to prepare for a battle against each other. The last 10 standing out of the 100 in the arena are going to be then tested for their mental skills. They are gonna be given many challenges and be tested in many ways. The one who does the best is going to be chosen by the 7 devils and is gonna become the next king.

Anyways, since Joon already found out who the human being with the Cursed blood was, he was going to go and kill him right now. First of all, I honestly have no idea how HE figured out who the boy was out of nearly the millions of dark souls that were trying to find him. And second, he was not going to take the boy's blood to become powerful, no, he was simply going to kill him in the most torturous way possible. I mean, if he was good-looking enough, then he might even fuck him a few times before finishing him off. He honestly didn't even care if it was just a fucking child at this point.

The reason that he was doing all of this is also that...it was fun for him. He obviously didn't want his opponents to become stronger and he was not going to take the boy's blood because...he was already way too powerful compared to the other nominees so he kind of didn't need it.

But well, he also wanted to really see their reactions when they get the news that the only being that could make them more powerful has been killed by Joon himself. He was sure that he was going to have a lot of souls enraged and come after him. Dang it, he might even have a war begin before it officially begins! And he had absolutely no problems with it, because all of this was thrilling for him. Risking his soul was something that gave him pleasure like nothing else.

So just like that, the prince quickly went to the human realm after being prepared and at the right timing teleported to a place that was close to the hunted being who was roaming around in the search of food. Joon was in some of his new clothes. He also hasn't seen the boy properly ever before, so it might be a surprise to see him up close.

Joon in his handsome doll form was laying down in the darkness, waiting to be picked up by the child. He planned to instantly start radiating his energy when the boy who we know as Jin, picks him up, that's when starts making him paranoid to kill him.

But well, all of that was thrown out of the window...pretty harshly.

Joon honestly hadn't expected the boy to be so...attractive and vulnerable. His beauty at the first sight astonished the hell out of him. There was just something that formed in Joon's chest for the boy. Regardless of looking down upon humans and not completely being able to understand all of their emotions, the pain and misery that stood in the eyes of the weak being that was holding him, made Joon want to protect him at any cost and forever that is.

For the first time, he truly understood what his parents meant by the warmth in the chest. Never had he ever known what they meant by it and how their love was formed but now...he completely got it.

Warmth was roaming all over Joon's cold chest and he didn't want to let go of this feeling. The pureness and weakness that shone out from Jin made Namjoonoon want to make him his...and on his. He wanted to devour him like the demon prince he was and replace all of his pureness with his own sinister. It was all too sudden...but he was more than sure that...he wanted Jin to be his and him to be Jin's.

And that was exactly when Jin openly claimed Joon through his words. There was nothing in the prince's soul that denied the claim. He belonged to Jin...and only Jin. It was a complicated and sudden love that grew in him but he didn't care one bit.

Though soon, realisation hit him. He couldn't be with Jin...not in his doll form that is. Because his doll form would radiate satanic energy even if he didn't want it to and if it affects Jin too much then he will become paranoid and start trying to kill himself in any way. Joon obviously didn't want that.

Though the thing is, the being that has the Cursed blood, can't easily get as much affected by the powers of demons and dark angels as humans. Because they have the blood of the paranormals but the body of a human. So they WILL get affected, but not as quickly and as much as normal humans.

Joon already knew that factor and was happy about it but he still couldn't be with Jin for too long, because he will start getting paranoid a little bit. So right as the bombing sound appeared, Jin was left all alone. But since he knew that many other dark souls are now going to come after his love, he would have to protect Jin to keep him only for himself.

So that's why he cast a permanent protection spell on Jin, which will not let any dark souls try to attack him. Also because he was leaving Jin alone all over again regardless of knowing that the soul has always been alone and for the first time was getting something that would comfort him, he decided to give him a pleasant surprise and see if he was completely his type.

He already knew his enemies well, he could see his past and stuff. So in a flash, he killed the humans as quickly as possible, and neatly placed all their body parts except heads in a mountain pile and aligned the heads next to each other in a row. And he was delighted at the fact that Jin loved it.

Just like that he headed back to the dark world and this time he immediately ordered an advisor for himself. Because he needed someone who could easily help him get his love and get him to make the best plan for that and help him prepare for the battle as well, perhaps. He honestly wanted to already make Jin his but his advisor recommended him to wait until after he's finally become a King.

Yes, Joon was more than confident that he was going to become the next king. Also, time in Hell passes very quickly compared to the human realm. Like one year in the human world equals nearly a month in hell. So Joon was quickly seeing Jin grow up. He also went to him in the human-realm, whenever he got freetime and gave up as much fortune in the place of not being with him for long.

And just as a few months passed in hell, the bloody competition finally began. I won't tell you the details, but I WILL tell you that Joon really created a lot of chaos by attacking silently...like a demon. His one move created a war between others and not a single scratch was laid on him because again...his attacks were silent. Because of that, he came in the final round.

But obviously, his sexy brain was able to get him through the mental skill challenge as well. It was as if he was playing a child's game due to how quickly and easily he solved each challenge. And like that, he was the person who won the entire thing. His parents and uncles or you can say the 7 devils were extremely pleased that he won, yes, his uncles were still slightly disappointed that their sons didn't win but well, they were all still very delighted.

During the preparation of Joon's coronation, Joon and his advisor started to finally prepare to bring their plan to the action of getting his love. Jin was not nearly about to turn 30 at this point and due to Tae's knowledge of human psychology, emotions and the entire brain he knew exactly what will work to get a person like. Because one weakness Namjoon had was understanding people and their emotions.

Currently, Joon was sitting on his rocking chair in the garden, while looking at the dark sky and talking to Tae about his plan. Tae was obviously beside him standing, as he spoke about the plan.

"To make him like you, you will have to make him hate you to death first."

Joon snapped his head at his advisor with a brow raised.

"The hell? Why would I have to make him hate me first? It will never enable any love in him for me!" Tae sighed before explaining.

"Your Highness, he isn't the type that will grow fondness towards anyone in a normal way. So that's why, you will have to make him hate you first so that there is reverse psychology that happens." Joon hummed while thinking about it.

"Well, what will that do, though?" He asked.

"So the more he hates you, the more he's going to think about you with rage. Regardless of having so much hatred towards you, he will still have you in his brain and then slowly the more you interact with him, the closer you will get. In simple words, if we finish hating the session in his brain for you then other emotions will start to emerge and since he only has YOU in his mind, those emotions will only go towards you."

By this explanation, Namjoon was actually kind of impressed by the idea and nodded his head in approval.

"That sounds pretty ok, actually! What else will be needed to be done, though?" Joon asked once again as he looked at the gigantic fountain in the distance.

"You will also have to seem as if you are not what you look like you are. Your Highness, no offence, but I think you will do a great job in that because you are already very good at tricking your prey. This will actually make the curiosity inside him grow even more. And he will want to know more about you. The slower you start to show more of your actual side, the more he will get desperate for you. So you have to also seem as if you have something dark going behind you and are suspicious of him."

Joon smirked and turned his head up in the sky. "You are right, I am already very good at this. This is nothing for me because...everything is flawless for me." Joon said darkly and gave out a satanic smirk.

"Just wait, my Jinnie, I am coming for you so soon!" He spoke out once again.

And that's how...we ended up in the present.
