Omkara's POV:

I carried Gauri inside my apartment and laid her on my bed. I removed her heels and sat beside her covering her with a duvet.

I couldn't forget about the situation I saw Gauri in, I know that she has already suffered this kind of situation and now facing the similar one again,  don't know how she gonna react. I sat there looking at her while she was sleeping.

Suddenly she began to flinch and creases formed on her forehead like she is having some bad dream, I immediately jumped to her side and rubbed her arm.

"Shh... I am here, it's just a bad dream, relax." I said and she relaxed at my touch.

I pulled a chair and sat beside her bed watching her.

At morning I woke up when Gauri let out a painful groan.

"Gauri, are you okay? " I asked.

"Aahh.. My head is hurting." She said holding her head between her hands.

"Here take this tablet, you will feel better." I said giving her a painkiller, she took the medicine and layed down looking at the ceiling tiny drops of tears escaped her eyes hurting me.

"Gauri, why are you crying? " I asked sitting on the bed wiping away the tears.

"Why this always happens with me, Om. Whenever I try to be strong, these types of things happens. Why??" She cried.

"Gauri, please don't cry, you are a strong girl, I had ever seen. Whatever happened it is not your fault, I should have known about Ridhimma and that Rishabh. Please don't cry, You are safe, I will make sure that you won't face this type of situation again." I said hugging her.

She cried keeping her head on my chest.

"You go and fresh up while I prepare breakfast for us." I said and guided her to the washroom.

When I came back carrying the breakfast into the room, Gauri was standing near the window looking outside wearing my T-shirt which reached till her knees. I placed the breakfast on the table and walked towards her.

"Gauri, please don't think about what has happened yesterday. You are a strong girl who survived worse situations than this don't let this things let you down." I said taking her hands into mine.

"Besides I like you when you are strong and beat the bad guys to pulp like you kicked Anshul on the first day on the college." I said making her smile.

"Now come let's eat our breakfast." I said and pulled her towards the bed.

We ate our breakfast talking about things and I successfully diverted her mind from the happenings of yesterday.

"Now, you take rest." I said getting up from the bed but Gauri stopped me holding my hand.

"Please, don't leave me alone. Stay with me." She requested and I layed beside her covering both of us with blanket.

She rested her head on my chest wrapping her hands around my waist and I wrapped my arm around her while rubbing her hand with my other hand resting my cheek on her hair inhaling her scent.

"Om," She called after a few minutes and I hmmed.

"If I ever losses energy to fight with the things will you be there for me to fight the demons." She asked.

"I can fight with the world, if it comes to you, Gauri. Even though I keep myself away from all these fights and wishes for peace, if it comes to you then I will be always there to fight for you no matter what may come." I said honestly.

"Thank you." She said and closed her eyes and soon dozed off.

Later that evening, the girls and Mukesh came to my apartment after I called them to let them know about Gauri and all the things that happened yesterday.

"How dare she to play such a cheap games with Gauri, I will kill her." Bhavya said angrily.

"Uss chantumein ka toh mein tai tai phis karungi." Anika said gritting her teeth.

"For now we have to focus on Gauri, as she was deeply upset about this." I said.

"Yes, you are right, she has already faced a familiar situation this must had had a very bad effect on her." Richa said.

"I will go and wake up Gauri, we can go out anywhere for some change and don't bring the topic before her. " I said and moved towards my room to wake up Gauri.

We went to near by mall for shopping dresses for our graduation day which is on Monday. Gauri was selecting the dresses for me with all smiles which made me happy. She selected a navy blue blazer and trousers with a white button up shirt for me to wear.

After shopping we sat in the food court after placing orders.

"So, Om, are your parents coming to attend your graduation ceremony? " Anika asked.

"No, Anika. They have some works so they couldn't make it and as you know Shivaay and Rudra will be flying back to attend it. How about you guys? " I asked.

"Well our parents will attending the ceremony." Anika said.

"Mom will be reaching Mumbai in the evening flight tomorrow, I have to go and pickup her." Gauri said.

"Would you mind If I come along with you to the airport? " I asked.

"No, I won't mind. Besides I will be very happy if you come with me. I can introduce you to my mom." Gauri said cheerfully.

Next day Gauri and I went to the airport to receive Gauri's mom and was waiting for her in arrivals area.

"Maa... " Gauri waved enthusiastically seeing her mom and ran to hug her.

"How are you, Maa? " Gauri asked her.

"I am fine, How are you? " Her mom asked cupping her face.

"I am great, Mom, meet Omkara." She said pulling me in front of her mom.

"Namasthe aunty. " I said and bent down to touch her feet.

"Namasthe beta, stay happy always." She said smiling, " I heard a lot about you from Gauri and I am happy to meet you in person." She said.

"It's nice to meet you too Aunty." I said and grabbed the luggage to take them outside.

While I was walking in front of them keeping quiet a distance from Gauri and her mom, I still can hear Gauri asking her mom, "How did you felt about your future son in law." I can't help but smile thinking about my future with Gauri.
