The yearly company overnight leisure trip is scheduled today, Saturday, and Sunday. You often don’t want to join this kind of trip, but for once, you're more than willing this time around. Just to see Fumiya on your precious weekend. It's a trip to Osaka and you heard your hotel will be near a beachfront. It will be nice to breathe in some fresh air once in a while.

It’s all good if not for Kaito checking on you every now and then. For today, he doesn’t seem to care if he’s that obvious or not. He seems to be going all out for a change.

Meanwhile, you just don’t give him that much attention. In fact, for this trip, you wish to spend a little more time with Fumiya. And you’re trying to figure out how to do it. Cuz first thing, your teams aren’t on the same bus. And your itineraries will only be coinciding by dinner time. But you will try to see him sooner, you hope.

But it seems it’s not your lucky day. Cuz instead of Fumiya, it’s Kaito's team who’s now teaming up with your team. You’re now on the same bus and probably onto the same location.

All day was exhausting. Of course, with your bosses around, it can’t be that enjoyable. When your bus arrived at the hotel by 6PM, you had about an hour before call time, so you sneaked away for a moment, making sure no one could notice you. There was something that caught your eye during the day that you just couldn’t buy since everyone was around. So you got back on your own and bought that cute little bag charm you’ve seen nowhere but here.

You’re all smiles to yourself when you went back to the hotel when an agitated Kaito was waiting for you by the lobby. You saw him first, but when he saw you too, it became unexpectedly dramatic. He almost ran going over you.

Meanwhile, another group has entered by the main entrance, and it’s Fumiya and his team.

As Fumiya’s team walked in, Kaito hugs you surprising not only yourself but Fumiya too, who’s passing nearby. You haven’t seen Fumiya yet, but he saw you before Kaito even hugged you.

“I was worried! Where have you been? You haven’t been answering my calls. I’ve been looking all over for you!” Kaito can’t hide his disappointment and concern at the same time.

“I got lost along the way, and my battery is dead. I’m sure I wasn’t even gone that long enough for you to worry,” you told him.

“It was long enough for me.”

You can see his genuine expressions, and you feel a little guilty about making him feel that way. It’s not supposed to be like that. He’s overreacting.

“Come on, let’s have dinner.”

“You haven’t had dinner yet?”

“Yeah, I was waiting for you.”

You just felt your heart thumped a little. This side of Kaito is new to you. His concern for you is overflowing. It overwhelms you in a heart-pounding way.

Just a few meters away, Fumiya can’t believe what he witnessed. There’s got to be something he can do to make that look on your face be towards him and not Kaito. He’s feeling so pathetic cuz the way you looked at Kaito was so pure and beautiful. He can't describe what his heart was feeling.

Dinner has been served, and right after, it’s time for socials. For a big group like yours, it’s hard to pinpoint if you’re looking for someone. And that is the case for you right now. You were sure you could see Fumiya earlier, but now he’s nowhere to be found. In the meantime, Kaito is busy with his team. Good for you. Now, you can finally search for Fumiya in peace.

You can’t ask anyone, so you excused yourself from the bunch, telling them you’re going to the restroom.

Just where did he go?  You asked yourself. It’s the only time you can talk to him. Tomorrow you’d be in different buses again. You have to see him, at least. Even for a moment.

After a few minutes of walking around, you finally found him alone by the corridors. What’s he doing here? You asked yourself. He’s looking up the moon, shining so bright on this cold night.

You approached him slowly, not trying to invade his space. Until he notices you and greeted you himself.

“Kisa-san… konbanwa. (Good evening.),” he said.

“Konbanwa,” you greeted back. “Why are you alone here? I think everyone is looking for you inside,” you made an excuse, just to be safe.

He just grimaced and replied, “I just wanted some peace and quiet. It’s been too rowdy the whole day. And I just wanted to clear my head.”

“Is there any problem?” It seems he’s going through something. His facial expressions say it all.

“The girl I like, she’s… busy. And I can’t seem to get a hold of her. I’m kinda losing hope.” He’s in dilemma. You can see it in his eyes. He really likes this girl. Whoever she is. It seems she’s not giving him the attention he needs.

“Is she one of us?” You finally had the courage to ask.

He pauses for a second, “I can’t tell you that. I’m sorry.”

“Its okay. No matter who she is, she’s gotta feel it somehow. Even if you don’t tell her, maybe you’ve been sending her signals? She can’t miss that out.” You try your best to cheer him up. You can feel his pain. Cuz you’ve been there many more times than he ever has.

From there, he became silent. He turned away and focused. He’s only looking at the moon now, and that’s what you did, too. But the silence in your heart is louder than you can imagine. You’re finally alone with Fumiya at last. And you can’t help but hear your heart beating for him.

You glance at him and are surprised to see the look on his face as he stares at the moon. He’s mad. He’s angry at something.

“Fumiya-san, is something the matter?” You asked, curious about why.

He looked you in the eyes so seriously that you felt a little intimidated. There’s a hint of sadness and something else in there that you can not explain. But when you finally focused on him, you can only see those beautiful eyes all over you.

“There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you,” he started.
