A/N: Based off of Young Justice, season 1 episode 19 "Misplaced". Contains Birdflash and Self harm, possible hints to chalant(robin and Zatanna).

Mount Justice.

The team was unloading supplies off of the Bio-ship when suddenly, Batman, Zatara and Red Tornado disappeared before the team's eyes.  Everyone looked around, with shock written upon their faces. 

Robin quickly pulled up multiple holo screens and began to work, Zatanna join in to help him as well, while the others left the mountain and went out looking. Robin was growing frustrated. He couldn't contact the Batcave, The Hall of Justice or the WatchTower. He couldn't contact and adult hero including Red Arrow who is 18. Robin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. Everything adult related was gone, every adult had disappeared and they had no idea why. Robin sighed, he could feel his anxiety rising under all of this stress and worry, for he didn't like this one bit.

Dick looked over and could see that Zatanna wasn't doing so well. He slowly walked over towards her and placed his hand upon her shoulder. She looked over at him and smiled.

'Try to stay whelmed.' he signed, 'We'll find your dad, Batman, all of them. It's what we do.' he signed and smiled at her then walked back over towards the holo screens and began typing some more. While they were inside, the team outside was collecting children and placing them inside the high school's gym, to try and keep them safe. Sadly they couldn't do this everywhere and that worried Dick. There was no telling how many babies and small children were out there alone and in danger. Dick closed his eyes and tilted his head back, he was getting a stress headache from all of this. He shook his head and tried to go back to work, trying to figure out who did this, and why.

Later on Robin set up a video stream to connect and reach out across the world to broadcast their message. They were connected to every TV, computer, radio and smartphone on the planet. Aqualad stood before him and Wally. 

Wally could see how this was stressing Dick out so he reached over at took his hand and gave it a little squeeze. Dick looked over towards him and smiled. He was grateful to have Wally by his side.

"Attention children and teenagers of Earth.'' Aqualad began. "I am Aqualad, and with me are Robin and Kid Flash. ''

"We know that you are all scared and you might want to run wild but, please do not and try to stay calm. We are working on a way to bring the adults back.'' said Wally and smiled. Robin glanced over at Wally for a moment, Wally nodded at him. Robin quickly typed upon his wrist computer.

"The oldest among you must step up, take care of others who have no one. Protect them. Everything will be fine in no time.'' came out Robin's wrist computer.

The feed ended and Robin sighed. It wasn't much help to anyone but for now it would have to work while they tried to find the adults. Zatanna walked into the room slowly, she was ready to try her father's location spell. Everyone knew who nervous she was, she has never done anything like this before. According to her, this was way out of her league, and she was no where near her father's level. 
Robin brought up the holo globe and stood back with the rest of the team while Zatanna did her magic.

After about a minute, they got a location. Robin smiled at her and sign, 'You did it.'

Second later a bolt of lightening flashed in the room, everyone turned around. A small child stood in the room with a smile upon his face. Robin right away knew who it was, it was Billy Batson aka Captain Marvel. 
Aqualad stepped forward. "Who are you? How did you-" but was cut off when Robin grabbed his arm. He looked over at Robin who mouthed 'it's okay.'

"Read my mind!'' shouted Billy and Megan's eyes glew. After a few seconds she turned to face the team.
"He's....Captain Marvel.'' she said, everyone but Robin looked surprise and dumbfounded. 

Captain Marvel could travel between both of the dimensions, communicating with both the Young Justice team and the Justice League, agree on one plan to solve all of this. Things were looking up. 

The team was setting off to leave, but before they could Robin disappeared off into his bedroom at the mount, he needed a moment alone. Once inside his room he sighed and lean against his cold metal door. His anxiety was still very high right now and he was totally not whelmed, which sucked. He was feeling overwhelmed at this particular moment. He quickly made it over to his nightstand and grabbed his razor blade. He sat down upon his bed and pulled his sleeve up. He inhaled sharply before sitting the blade down upon his pale wrist. He then pressed down on his skin and drew the blade backwards, leaving a small cut behind. He pulled the blade back quickly and watched as beads of blood formed upon the cut, then ran together in a straight red line. He continued to cut for a few more seconds until he felt like the team might be noticing him not with them. He cleaned up the blood and but he blade away. He glanced down at his wrist, he had 4 new cuts on it, and he really wanted to cut some more but knew he had to go. The last of his cuts was a little bit deeper than the other 3 and was still bleeding somewhat. Dick sighed and slapped a band-aid over his cuts and ran out of his room, pulling his sleeve down as he ran to the missions room.

They all got onto the bio-ship and headed off, all ready to defeat the person behind this and make everything go back to the way it was supposed to be.

Artemis and Robin stood before Klarion. Robin quickly threw a few bird-arangs, while Artemis shot an arrow at him but he brought up a red force field surrounding himself so their attack was useless. Klarion smiled at them and sent a red lightening bolt at them. They both yelled out and jumped out of the way trying to avoid it. Part of Robin's leg was hit and left a burn mark. He winced in pain as he sat up and looked down at his leg.

But, the teams efforts seemed to be no match to Klarion's powers. They kept continuing to fight their hardest but it just wasn't doing much of anything in their favor. 

Robin pushed himself off the ground and rushed forward to join the others, but only to be shot full of electricity and sent flying backwards, crashing harshly to the ground. He hit his head and soon became unconscious.

While Robin was knocked out, Zatanna put on the helmet of Fate and Fate took over. The battle grew on and it soon ended. Robin was beginning to come back and he felt a hand upon his back, pushing him forward into a sitting position. His vision was still a little blurry but he could see that it was Wally kneeling before him. He had this loud ringing in his ears and couldn't hear what Wally was saying, so he just signed that he was okay. After a moment, his vision cleared and he was brought up to stand. He wobbled for a moment but soon found his footing. He glanced around to see what he had missed.

'Did...did we wim?' Robin signed and glanced over at Wally. Robin could see that something was wrong but the look on Wally's face. Robin turned around and saw Batman and Red Tornado standing behind him, He didn't get it, they worlds were back together, what went wrong? He then heard Doctor Fate's voice and turned around to see Zatanna floating in the air, possessed by Fate. Robin's eyes widen.
'No!' he signed and stepped forward, missing Wally's hand as he reached out for Dick's shoulder. Zatara glanced over at Robin and walked before him, looking directly at Fate, anger rolling off of him in waves along with worry for his daughter's life.

"Fate! Release my daughter, now!'' yelled Zatara.
"No.'' stated Fate. Robin turned around and looked over at Batman. He was worried about Zatanna. He turned around to face Fate and stepped forward.

"Rob'' Wally whispered but Robin didn't listen to him. Robin quickly typed out on his wrist computer and looked up at Fate, sending small eye daggers his way.

"You can't do this! She has her own life to live. Let her go!'' shouted Robin's wrist computer loudly. The team looked sadly at Robin. Zatara turned around and nodded his head in thanks to Robin then faced Doctor Fate.

"Take me instead. Release my girl and take me.'' said Zatara. "My body can better withstand the strain of your power.''

"True.'' said Fate, "But if I remove this helmet, how will I know you will put it on?''

"She is my daughter, I would do anything for her. You can also have my word that I will.'' said Zatara, then he spoke an incantation to Fate, holding his arms out towards him.

"Very well'' said Fate and lowered towards the ground. Once his feet touched the ground, he took off the helmet, reveling Zatanna. She opened her eyes and blinked for a few seconds. She then saw her dad before her.

"Dad!'' she shouted happily and threw her arms around her father.
"Zatanna!" said Zatara and hugged her back. 

Robin was over come with sadness. This wasn't right, it wasn't fair. She shouldn't have to lose her only parent. He knew what that lost felt like and wouldn't wish it upon anyone. He knew she would blame herself, like he did and still does about not warning him parents and saving them from their deaths. Robin sighed. He decided that he was going to be there for her, to help her out in anyway possible.

Zatara then pulled back from her, and kissed her forehead. "Remember....I love you'' he whispered to here. She looked up at him, she was confused about what was happening. She felt his fingers on top of her's and felt him pull the helmet from her grasp. She looked down at the helmet then over at the team, her eyes landing on Robin. She could clearly see he was sadden but she didn't know why. Her dad then turned to face Batman.

"Take care of my girl'' said Zatara and took a step away from Zatanna.
"Dad?'' she questioned and he glanced over at her and smiled the looked back at Batman.
"You have my word, she will be safe.'' Said Batman and Zatara slowly lifted the helmet upwards his face.

All of a sudden, Zatanna knew what was happening and Robin raced over towards her.

"NO! Please...no! This is all my fault! Dad, don't please! DAD!" she yelled as he placed the helmet on. A bright light flashed and once it was gone, Zatara was no longer standing before Zatanna, but Doctor Fate was. Fate looked directly at Zatanna as she took a step forward, her hand reached outwards, reaching for her father but she could no longer see him underneath the helmet. Fate soon rose into the air, taking the villains with him and he then disappeared before everyone's eyes.

Zatanna fell to her knees and both Wally and Artemis ran to her sides. Robin knelt down behind her and looked over at Wally, who placed his hand upon her shoulder.
"No'' she whispered and a single tear ran down her face.

Back at the mountain everyone was still feeling down after the mission. The girls and Robin helped move in Zatanna's things,for she was now living at the mountain along side M'gann and Conner. M'gann's bedroom was right next to Zatanna's room. After they brought in all of her boxes they left her alone. Robin paused by the door and looked back at her. He could tell she was putting forward a brave mask on her face but deep within her eyes he could see her sadness. He did the same thing all the time, put on a mask so no one truly knows how you are doing, so no one sees you cry or your weaknesses. He sighed and slowly left the room, giving her some alone time. As soon as the door closed he could her hear gasp and begin to break down. He wanted to walk in there and help her out but he figured some alone time to work through somethings might help, so he walked towards his room.

Once inside he sat down on the edge of his bed and took off his sunglasses and held them in his hands. 

The door to his room then opened and closed quickly behind Wally. He looked over at his boyfriend and felt sad for him, he knew that the whole thing with Zatanna was hard on him but Wally knew something else was bothering Dick took, even before they faced off with Klarion. Dick didn't even look up when Wally entered the room.

"Dick,'' he said softly, ''everything alright?''

Dick looked up and nodded his head. 'Yeah, I'm fine.' he signed then lowered his head once more to look down at his sunglasses. Wally slowly walked over towards him and sat down beside him. Wally placed his hand upon Dick's shoulder. "You sure?'' Wally questioned him, he knew that Dick wasn't okay but it looked like Dick really didn't want to talk about it and rather act as if everything was all good. Dick looked over at him quickly and then looked back down, fumbling with his sunglasses. Wally sighed and decided to press on.

"Do you...want to talk about it?" he asked Dick. He waited for Dick to answer him but he didn't, although his body movements answered for him. Dick reached over and rubbed his wrist, Wally didn't know if he did that on purpose of his just did it out of habit.

"Did you do something stupid?" Wally asked and he saw Dick freeze and drop his glasses to the floor and look over at him, harshly. Wally sighed and internally hit himself, "Why on Earth would I say that to Dick. Something stupid? Geez, way to make the kid feel better. Stupid West!" thought Wally. After a minute of beating himself up he saw Dick nodded his head. Wally closed his eyes, ''damn it'' thought Wally.

"Can I see?" he asked, unsure if Dick would let him see. Dick quickly shook his head and moved an inch away from Wally. Wally inhaled deeply. "Did you clean it up?" he asked and only got another nodded.
"You sure? Good? Like disinfectant?" he questioned him. 

A nod. That was all Wally got from his boyfriend. Wally sighed and pulled Dick into a hug, rubbing his back a little bit.

"Can you talk to me, Rob, please?" said Wally. He waited a minute until Dick signed to him.
'I was upset.' he signed and closed his eyes. Wally looked down at Dick and nodded his head. He understood that Dick was done talking about this, so Wally pulled away from him and slowly took his hand. Wally then pulled Dick to the top of the bed and they both laid there on their sides. Wally watched Dick for the longest as the boy tried his hardest to not cry and look at Wally with his sad blue eyes. Wally sighed and finally Dick looked up at him and Wally felt even more sad seeing how sad his boyfriend really was. Wally moved forward and brushed his lips against Dick's.

"I love you and no matter what, that's never going to change'' said Wally and laid his head down on a pillow as Dick moved closer towards him, bring his head to touch Wally's chest. Dick closed his eyes tightly as the tears began to flow from his eyes. Wally reached over and rubbed his back, shushing him as he silently cried.
