Chapter 2: Silence Upon The Game

“I accept the ‘Game’!” I shouted, my voice echoed with two other men. Agravien and the ‘Boy’.

Raven POV:

Inside the game:

All three of us were transported and dropped into the game. And when I say dropped...I mean appearing almost a metre off the ground and dropped. Stupid Agravien and his stupid magic he was able to land on his feet. I noticed my change in clothing. I now wore Black pants and a black shirt, plated in armour that ran down my arms. My hair was neatly plaited into one plait. And I wore boots. ‘Much better.’ I thought

We stood and watched as the Silence bickered and bet over our souls.

“The sorcerer is mine.” Silence 1 stated.

“Why should who get the sorcerer?!” Silence 2 argued.

“I’ll have the boy, meaning the girl’s yours.” Silence 3 spat evilly.

“That’s not fair!” Silence 2 whined.

I cleared my throat. Earning their attention. “Oh forgive me I know you have all eternity but we do not. So stop you’re bickering all tells us the rules so we can go on with it.” All three of the Silence looked at each other contemplating.

“Very well.” Silence 1 finally agreed. ‘I’ve never played ‘the game’ with a total of three people before.’ I thought. Then Silence 2 began to explain the rules:

“In this arena there are a total of 50 doors down the many twisted maze of corridors. Only one of these will contain the orb.” A bright floating orb appeared at the Silences wishes. Inside it contained a small golden key. “In this room there will be a test, you must pass the test to advance on wards to the orb. To win you must fine the orb. Inside is your key to freedom, only one may use the key.”

“Let’s make this interesting.” Silence 1 begun. “Since one of is a sorcerer, you two must pair up and work as a team.” It pointed at both the ‘boy’ and me.

“We didn’t agree on this!” Silence 3 argued.

“You just want to make it easier to get the sorcerer!” Silence 2 yelled agreeing with Silence 1.

“I’m not working with a girl.” The boy said.

“You don’t know how much their helping you.” I smirked at him. I received a glare in return. I turned back to the Silence. “What’s the catch?”

It smirked, I think. “You both must work together, as a team. You can not split up; you must be in the same room as each other at all times. If you don’t not follow these rules, you loose immediately.”

“Fine. Anything else?” The boy snapped angrily.

“There is a time limit, you have 10 minutes.” Silence 1 added.

“And I’m sure you know what happens if you all lose.” Silence 3 laughed.

“Theirs one problem. Their is only one key.” The boy pointed out.

“Very perspective.”

“How do we ‘both’ escape?” He questioned them.

“That’s for you to discuss.” It said wickedly before they all disappeared.

“Your time starts now.”

Running down the long hallway, noises echoed as our feet kissed the hard titled floor.

“What’s your name?” He asked randomly.

“Why should I-“

“Look! I can’t keep calling you ‘girl’ forever, so tell me!”

“Then keep calling me girl!” I snapped back at him.

“Now!” I narrowed my eyes.

“It’s...Raven.”

“Raven, ...Don’t get in my way.” I rolled my eyes but waited for something that never came.

“And... you?”

“You don’t need to know.”

“I’m seriously going to slit your throat.”

“hn.”

I soon realized something and a smirked graced its beauty upon my lips. “That’s fine I’ll just continue calling you ‘boy’.” He looked clam but I saw his hand flinch and my smirk widened into a grin. “So, What’s our plan? Or don’t you have one? ...boy.” I asked ‘sweetly’

“You’re really annoying.”

“Good.”

Marik’s POV:

And this is why I HATE women. Where never going to get that orb. And she’s just stepping closer to her death. ‘Boy’ this, ‘boy’ that. I’m suppressing every thought to slit her throat. Maybe I should tell her any name just to shut her up. I mentally smirked. After all I can’t have her figuring out who I really am.

I sighed in ‘defeat’. “Robin.” She nodded.

“Okay Robin Lets go.” And off we ran in search for the Orb and our key to freedom.
