It was my turn to be the seeker in the hide and seek game we were playing. I started counting and I'd only reached twenty when one of my friends announced that they were hidden and ready. I carefully looked around, peeked behind the bushes and looked everywhere. First I spotted Max , then Anna and then Steven. It was Laura who was left to be spotted by me. It took me a longer time to find her than what I'd expected.

She was hiding behind an abandoned pile of pipes. It was dark and I could only make out her legs as she sat there, holding her breath. As I approached her, she did not move nor did she respond. Then I realised she was bent in an awkward position, which no living person could stay in. Baffled, I shrieked with a broken voice.

Then a voice cut through my roar. " Cool down Jane, I'm right here. It seems that you are great in this game.." I recognised the voice. It was Laura's. Spellbound, I replied shaking, "Wh-Where are y-o-ou ?" The answer came, " Right here dumbo, behind the pipes. Can't you see me ?"
