     Night had fallen on the farm house. Merrill had the football game on. Amber and Bo were doing the dishes while Graham was outside feeding Isabelle with Morgan. Morgan then stopped and noticed something in the sky. "Hey dad, look."

Graham stood up and saw what he was seeing. It was the spacecraft.

"Merrill! Amber!" Graham called out.

Amber picked up Bo. She was now worried. Suddenly the lights in the house the entire electricity went off in the house. Isabelle noticed and whimpered.

Suddenly the tv broke in, nothing but static and harsh loud piercing noise came from it. Amber set Bo down and slowly opened the door. The entire family walked in and suddenly the tv flashed words and a voice saying "You are not Alone. We are not Alone."

Morgan looked up Graham shaking and gripped on his hand. Bo hugged onto Merrill arm shaking herself. Merrill brought Isabelle inside and locked the door. He then picked up Bo, and took hold of Amber's hand while they listened to the message being broadcast through their tv.

"My name is General Xander. I have come a world far from yours. I have journeyed a ocean of stars to reach you. For some time your world has sheltered a enemy's child of mine. I request that you return this individual to my custody. For reasons unknown, she has chosen to keep her existence a secret from you all. She has made efforts to blend in. She will look like you, but do not let her fool you. She is not one of you. To those who may know her current locations may the fate of the planet rest in your hands. To Amber Gold, I say this, you fowl mortal, surrender within 24 hours, or watch this world you so love suffer the consequences."

Within a minute the screen went black. Then the electricity broke back on which made Bo and Morgan scream. Amber jumped. She knew now this wasn't good.

"You can't go," Merrill said, squeezing her hand more tightly, "they want you for a reason, you're a threat to them and if they have you right where they want you, you're vulnerable."

Morgan agreed, "it's basic battle strategy. They want an advantage."

"I don't want you to go." Bo teared up.

"Now everyone just give her some room to breathe," Graham said.

Amber shivered. She teared up and looked at them once she dropped to her knees tearing up. Memories of the kids on the bus hit her, Dr Hess, and Mrs Hess caught by the tornado. And now looking at her only family. She couldn't loose them. She promise not just to her father, but also to Colleen before the day she passed away.

Bo came to her crying. Amber cried and hugged her and then Morgan, "listen to me very carefully, I love you both, your father, and your Uncle Merrill. No matter what happens, what I do...I am not gonna let anything bad to anyone of you. You trust me?"

Morgan and Bo nodded, still crying.

"And what if...you don't come back?"

"Merrill!" Graham snapped, but Merrill was looking at her with tears in his eyes.

"We don't want to loose you. We've already lost too much."

Amber stood up and took Merrill's hand, "you won't. I know Graham...is still struggling, but...pray...pray that God will give us strength...," she pulled Merrill's face so she rested her nose on his.

Merrill closed his eyes, "you're not going right now are you? He gave you 24 hours."

"No...I am gonna stay with you guys. Until I have to go." Bo and Morgan then hugged her crying. She hugged them and then Merrill. Graham was tearing up until Merrill pulled him by the shirt and they all hugged each other. Isabelle came to them and rubbed her head against their legs. Merrill reached down to pet the old dogs' head. She was so loyal and smart, she sensed everyone was upset and wanted to comfort them.
