Mondays were always the worst. I could never wake up properly. It also doesn't help that I couldn't sleep these past few nights. I stayed up thinking about Sam and Christian. Sam and I still hadn't talked since the cliff incident. I honestly wish I had thrown her off of the cliff. Not to be rude or anything but she's just overreacting! Like oh, I'm sorry the guy who didn't know you existed likes me. Well, I think he likes me.
He is so confusing. But he's oh so hot.
I could picture myself running my hand down his chest. Oh god, Reagan stop! Gross. Don't have fantasies in school.
Christian hadn't shown up in math class today. His lucky ass. He didn't live with his parents so he could freely do whatever the hell he wanted. I wanted to have a life like him.
I was currently in art class doodling on a paper because I didn't feel like continuing the assignment that we were to be doing.
All I wanted was for him to be next to me. But unfortunately, I had Logan. "So, do you think Bethany likes me?" He curiously asks for the tenth time in this class.
I groan, three seconds away from smashing my head on the table, "For the fucking tenth time, I don't know."
He holds his hands up in surrender, "Sorry, grumpy pants. What's got your panties in a twist?"
"I'm exhausted and you keep annoying me."
He rolls his eyes, "Why are you and Samantha fighting? She wouldn't stop calling Beth after she ran off on Saturday."
"She's upset because I'm kinda with Christian and he doesn't want her."
He chuckles, "God, girls are fucking insane."
"I know."
The bell eventually rings and I scurry off to the lunch room where I pray Samantha isn't sitting in our seats. She could rot in hell. Yelling at me like that. No one says shit like that to me and expects to get away with it.
I let out a sigh of relief when she was nowhere to be found. I sit down, pull out the sandwich I had brought from home, and munch on it. Bethany had joined me also. And of course, Logan had come and sat next to her. I gave him a brief smile before scrolling through Instagram on my phone.
Suddenly, Bethany spoke, "Reagan, turn around." I looked up at her and slowly turned around to where Samantha was sitting. Next to Ryder. She whispers something in his ear before pulling away and smiling at me. Oh, so that's how she wants to play.
I turn back around and let out a chuckle, "Does she think that's going to get me jealous? Feeling up my ex?"
Logan and Bethany looked amused at what just had happened. "She's a bitch. Everyone knows that's against girl code." Bethany says.
"Rule one: Don't date your best friend's ex. It's the easiest one in the book." I laugh.
"Why are you guys friends with her again?" Logan asks.
I shrug, "She's been my friend since birth."
Bethany replied, "She showed me around school my first day and we have been friends ever since."
"Oh, how things change," I roll my eyes.
"Talking about me, again are we?" A new voice replies.
I turn around and smile, "No. But you are missing out on some juicy stuff about other people."
He sits down quickly and props his hand on the table as he looks at me, "Ooh tell me!"
I laugh, "Well Sam is trying to get me jealous now. But she doesn't know that I don't care that she wants my leftovers and oh, you were kidding, you don't care."
He smiles before letting out a laugh, "You got me."
I roll my eyes before hitting his arm, "You're an asshole you know that, Christian?"
He leans in and whispers in my ear, "But I'm your asshole."
I blush before shaking my head with a small giggle, "Where were you earlier?"
He shrugged, "Didn't feel like coming until now. Monday's fucking suck."
"I agree on that one," Logan says.
I take one last look at Sam who was staring straight at me, "I guess she's still mad. Oh well. I'm not apologizing."
Christian leans in my ear once again, "You know what would make her mad?"
"What?"
"If I kissed you right now."
I turned and looked at him, letting my mouth hang wide open, "But, we aren't together."
"But that's the funny part. It will make her blood boil."
I roll my eyes, "I'm not trying to be on her bad side. I don't want her to pull some Carrie Underwood shit and key my car."
He laughs before placing his hand on my cheek, "Trust me it won't be that bad. I'll take care of you."
I barely got to nod before he smashed his lips onto mine. Damn him. He started to deepen the kiss, but I pulled away, "Damn you." I whispered.
He smirked before looking over to her table, "She's fucking red," referring to Samantha.
"Oh god, she's gonna kill me!" I try to turn into a turtle to hide myself.
Christian laughs, "I don't get why you're so scared."
"I'm not! I just don't like people hating me! I remember one time in the third grade her dad bought her a purple bike instead of a pink one and she screamed until he went back to the store and got her a pink one."
"She's a brat." He leans in again before simply resting his forehead on mine.
"Are y'all gonna make out again? Because if so I'm gonna leave, I don't like watching live pornos." Logan says.
I turn and flick him off, "Fuck off Logan. We are having a moment."
The bell rings and I gather up my belongings before heading to my next class. Well, I thought I was going to class at least.
I was pulled into a dark room by someone and thrown into the wall. Um, ow! "What the fuck?" I mumble.
Suddenly the lights turn on and Samantha is standing there in full-on rage. "Who the fuck do you think you are? Are you trying to make me jealous? You bitch!" She screams before lunging at me.
I grabbed her hands and pushed her back before she got a chance to hit me. "Sam, what the fuck are you doing? Trying to make me jealous by hitting on my ex-boyfriend? Now that's just fucking desperate. You need help."
"You stole the man I wanted, so I'm going to steal the next best thing." She spoke as if it was a smart thing.
I snorted, "The next best thing is my leftovers? Sure, go ahead I don't care. Maybe you and Ryder would be good for each other. You're both stuck up, spoiled b-." She lunged at me before I got to finish my sentence. I push her off of me and throw her into the closest thing, a wall.
Her head hits the wall, probably giving her a concussion. She slowly starts to get up and I take that chance to run out of the room like a coward. I didn't want to fight on school property. I could get expelled and lose my chance to go to Colorado State. I didn't feel like going to class since I was late, so I went to the roof. My getaway place.
Unfortunately, there was someone up there when I got there. I groaned before realizing it was a familiar-looking figure.
I got closer to him and noticed he was smoking a cigarette. "So, you just came to school and you're already skipping? What was the point of coming?"
He turned to me and smiled, "I wanted to see you." He then noticed how raggedy I was looking, "Are you okay?"
I chuckle before grabbing the cigarette out of his hands and taking a drag, "Yeah I'm fine. Samantha pulled me into a closet and tried to fight me. But I pushed her into a wall and left because I wasn't fighting here."
He laughs and pulls me closer to him, wrapping his arm around my waist, "You girls are fucking crazy."
"Not all of us are crazy, baby. I'm only crazy for you." I winked at him.
He puts the cigarette out before pulling me even closer to him. He smashes his lips on mine again, letting them fall in perfect harmony. I gladly let him deepen the kiss this time since we weren't in public. It was just us two this time and it was amazing.
He pulled away and rested his hands on my waist and I put mine around his neck. "That was hot," he whispered.
I smiled, "This is a total high school musical three moment."
He furrowed his eyebrows, "What?"
"You know when they are up on the roof and they start to dance and it rains?" I say.
He cocked his eyebrow with a smile playing on his lips, "Never seen it."
I gasped, leading him to a more open area of the roof. "Come on let's dance!"
"I don't dance." He comments.
"I'll say you can!" I respond.
"Not a chance."
I gasped, "You- you just quoted a high school musical!"
He laughs, "I haven't seen the third one, that doesn't mean I haven't seen the others."
"You're an ass!" I shout as a crack of thunder comes from the sky.
He chuckles and looks up to the sky as the rain starts to fall. "Come on." He pulls me towards him.
"Where are we going?"
"Just do your fucking high school musical moment before we get soaked." I pull him closer to me and start to dance and sing the song.
"Take my hand, take a breath
Pull me close and take one step
Keep your eyes locked on mine
And let the music be your guide..."
I giggle as I try to remember the lyrics, but it's insanely hard because I haven't watched the movie in forever. At that point there is a freaking monsoon coming down on us so I run to the door and drag him with me, to get dry. I can't stop laughing at the moment we just had. Once we get into the school I stop and turn to look at him. He had a huge smile on his face as he looked at me, "I can't believe we just did that."
I laugh, "I can't believe you just let me do that with you! What kind of bad boy are you?"
He shakes his head before running a hand through his hair. "I only did this for you."
I smile up at him, "Like I said, you're like a teddy bear around me. Not afraid to be who you are."
"I'd sacrifice my badass reputation for you." He commented as we began to walk through the halls of the school.
I turned and looked at him. "I think that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me."
He laughed and wrapped his arm around my neck, "Now how about we go back to my place and get cleaned up?" I nod eagerly and run towards his car.
