At the Space Mission Center (or S.M.C for short), it is were a group of astronauts receive missions regarding planets being infested with monsters. Nurib (pronounced nur-eeb), an Aureum, was called into the briefing room. He wore a black colored armored space suit with yellow lines and, like members of his kind, he is barefoot. He walked down the hall and entered the briefing room, where the commander is at. He stood before the commander, expecting to be yelled at again.

"Nurib, the reason why I called you here is that I wanted to give a mission" said the commander.

"A mission?" He said.

"Yes. Your mission is to investigate the planet Kepler 5b, in which we have picked up bizarre signal there. We're not sure if it's a distress call or something, but I've got a feeling that it's serious" the commander explained.

Then the astronaut wearing a red colored armored space suit, who was sitting at the chair, came up to the commander.

"I'll accept the mission!" He said proudly.

"Ok, I'll have to assign you with Nurib" said the commander.

"Who? That guy? I'm not sure he'll be realiable" said the astronaut.

"Hey! Nurib is an Aureum, a mysterious alien race that looked like us humans. The main reason why he isn't wearing the standard boots for the space suit is because of his strength, in which it'll break any boots whenever he stomps! He is very important for this mission, so don't forget that John!" The commander scolded.

Nurib took his helmet off, showing that his pink skin and golden hair is short and he has a short chainstrap beard. Not only his gold colored eyes lacked pupils, but they also glow gently.

"Very well, he can join my team. I just don't want him messing up my ship like my previous team member did a year ago, from which I used blub to immobilize him and took him back here" said John.

Nurib was shocked, he already knew that substance is one of the weaknesses of his people. To him and his people, blub is more like rubber cement that prevents them from moving nor break free by using their bare strength. He then put his helmet back on, as a means of getting ready for the mission.

"Let's go, Nurib" said John.

Nurib nervously nodded as he followed his new leader, and by the time the duo arrived at the hangar, there were two female crewmembers (both are wearing green colored armored space suits) waiting at the spacecraft.

"Oi! I'm back!" John called out.

"Took you long enough, we were starting to get bored waiting for you" said one female crewmember.

"Sorry Valerie, I just got assigned with an Aureum to go investigate Kepler 5b" he replied.

"Oh my goodness, an actual Aureum!? I've read about them from the books, they're so mysterious!" The other female crewmember said in an excited tone.

"Christine, calm down! He can aid us out with his strength" he chastised.

Nurib nodded before taking off his helmet to show the girls what he is, Christine giggled excitedly like a school girl when she saw his gold colored glowing eyes. Afterwards, all four of them boarded the spacecraft. Then it lifted off the floor and flew out of the hangar, as it travels to its destination.

"Alright, Nurib. Here are the rules on this ship: rule number one, clean up your mess whenever you eat. Rule number 2, don't eat heavy before going in hypersleep because you'll get sick. Rule number 3, don't break the controls like how the previous team member did" John explained.

"So, when do we arrive at Kepler 5b?" Nurib asked.

Valerie pulled up the star map, showing the destination of the ship heading towards.

"I'd say a year and a half" she replied.

"What!? That long!? We don't have much supplies on this ship!" He said in an outraged tone.

"That's why we have four hypersleep pods, to wait it out" said Christine.

"Come on, let's go into hypersleep" said John.

The team walked into the chamber where it has four hypersleep pods, and each of them took off their armored space suits right down to their undergarments. They then walked towards each pod, before exchanging glances at each other.

"Wake me, if you need me" said Nurib.

"Don't worry, I already calibrated the settings. The ship will automatically wake us up when we reached our destination, as in, a year and a half" said Valerie.

John already entered his pod, then Christine, and Valerie. It leaves Nurib being the only one, standing around in his underwear. He sighed before stepping into his pod, and he reached down and picked up an oxygen mask at the bottom of the pod. Then the pod lid closes in front of him before leaning back to the point that he's on his back, he puts on the oxygen mask out of curiosity.

"It won't be long... until we get to Kepler 5b" his voice muffled beneath the oxygen mask, before closing his eyes.
