Melanie had been making rounds around the four people that had been shot, sitting with them for a while, talking with them if they were awake, and taking some of their pain when they weren't looking.

She was staring to feel really drained and lightheaded. She took a break after visiting Lydias bedside and taking some of her pain. She was gonna go to Mason next since Melissa was in surgery, but when she saw Corey sitting in there, she decided to leave the two of them alone.

Melanie took this time to stop by the vending machine. She got herself a water and a bag of chips. She decided to head back to Lydias room. She felt like she was being watched from the waiting area and even though Lydia hadn't woken up yet, Mel figured she'd be better company.

Melanie sat with Lydia for about an hour, taking more of her pain and draining herself before she heard Melissa was out of surgery.

When Melanie walked into the room, she hardy expected to see the woman awake.

But there Melissa McCall was, smiling at the Melanie.

Melanie felt relief wash over her as she ran to the woman. "Melissa." Melanie whispered, worried if she spoke any louder it may come out as a cry. Melanie pulled the woman into a hug, making sure to be gentle. Melanie felt relief wash over her when she felt Melissa hug back.

When they pulled away, Melissa's face fell. She slowly brought a hand up to Melanie's face and cupped her cheek. Melanie felt Melissa run her thumb just under Melanie's eye.

"You're working yourself too hard, sweetheart." Melissa muttered, her voice scratchy and weak. Melanie titled her head into Melissa's hand as she sat down in the seat right next to her bed.

"I don't want to see anything happen to you, Melanie." Melissa whispered and Melanie nodded, she felt her throat tighten at the sight of Melissa. She didn't want anything to happen to her. "Okay, I'll watch myself." Melanie muttered before she smiled at the woman she's grown to see as a mother.

"I love you." Melanie said and Melissa gave the girl a big smile. Melissa nodded along quickly, running her thumb across Melanie's cheekbone again. "I love you."

"You think we're all killers? Maybe we should be." Belle heard Liam growl out as glass shattered.

Belle and Theo stood behind Liam, watching as he pushed Gabe's face into the mirror in the locker room. Belle was leaned up against the lockers beside her as Theo crossed his arms, both of them smirking.

"You're really gonna kill him? I mean, I don't care if you do. But, have you thought this through? Any idea where you're gonna dump the body?" Theo asked and Belle nodded along, furrowing her brows in a sarcastic manner.

"But no one saw you grab him, did they? 'Cause that could be a problem." Belle said, turning to look up at Theo beside her who was already looking at her. He nodded, knowing Liam could see the two of them in the reflection. Liam growled, pushing Gabe's head further into the mirror.

"I don't care."

"I don't care either. But at least let us help. I'm the one with experience here." Theo said, pointing at his chest. Belle sighed, shaking her head as she looked to the ground. "If we kill him, we'll have to find the witnesses and kill them, too." She said.

Theo, keeping his eyes on Liam, pointed at Belle with his thumb before adding on. "Which means we're gonna need shovels, some plastic bags..."

"Maybe a chainsaw..." Belle cut in, looking up at Thei before she turned back to Liam. "And think about what Mel would think."

Liam let out a growl, grabbing agaves shoulders and throwing him onto the ground. Liam stared down at the boy, catching his breath. Once he did, he looked up at Belle and Theo. "You made your point." Liam grumbled angrily.

Belle smirked, nodding her head to Gabe. "And you didn't kill him." Belle pointed out. Liam looked back and forth between Belle and Theo. "Why do you keep trying to save me? Belle's my friend, but you..." Liam said, turning to Theo with a glare. "You think it'll make Scott forget about everything you did and he'll just let you into the pack? Scott's never gonna trust you."

"You might wanna remember what Scott's goal has been all along... Keep people alive." Theo said and Gabe groaned from the ground, making the three look down at him.

"He should try harder." Gabe muttered. Belle looked at Gabe with a disgusted look. "Why are you talking?" Belle snapped while Liam copied her facial expression. "What are you talking about?"

Gabe just smirked and Belle and Liam. He looked away from them, the smirk pissing Theo off. Theo lifted Gabe off the ground by the collar of his shirt and pressed his face right back into the mirror to get him to talk.

Gabe screamed in pain before he yelled. "The other bodies!"

Theo immediately dropped Gabe. Belle bent down to the boys height, grabbed his collar just like Theo had and pressed his back against the wall. "What other bodies?"

Waiting until school was over so no one caught them, Gabe led Belle, Theo, and Liam to an empty classroom on the edge of school. Belle recognized it as Mr. Marshall's classroom, a freshman english teacher.

In the corner of the room was a freezer. Gabe looked at the three beside him before opening the freezer. Belle gasped at the four bodies squished in there, Mr. Marshall being one of them. She had to look away at the sight of their eyes gone, almost as if they were ripped out.

"Does the teacher know about this?" Theo asked and Belle swallowed back the lump in her throat, still not looking at the freezer. "That's the teacher." Belle answered Theo. Theo looked down at the teacher before looking back up at Gabe.

"Why'd you hide these bodies?" Theo asked and almost instantly, Gabe shrugged. "We didn't wanna get caught." Gabe admitted, not a hint of guilt in his voice. Liam's brows furrowed, taking a step closer to Gabe. "Caught doing what?" He asked.

"Testing them. To see if they were werewolves. And they were." Gabe said and Belle turned to Gabe, holding up her hand. "Just like Nolan tested me? In the library?" She asked. Gabe's eyes traveled down to Belle's hand before he looked back up to her eyes, shaking his head. "But we didn't kill them. Look at their faces. Something else did that."

Theo turned to Belle and Liam. "The Anuk-Ite." He said, the Liam nodding along with him as Belle shook her head. Gabe's brows furrowed, not understanding what Theo had just said. "The what?" He asked, but was ignored.

Belle looked up at Theo in confusion. "Why would it want to kill anyone? It feeds off fear. Dead people aren't afraid." She explained and Liam turned to her, his eyebrows raising.

"Maybe the killing is just a by-product." He suggested and Belle turned to him, Theo following her actions. Belle still
held her confused face as she shrugged at Liam. "Of what?"

"Of it looking for its other half. Which means it's looking for a supernatural creature. Someone like us." Liam explained and Belle finally started to catch on.

"So these three could have been werewolves, just not the ones that the Anuk-Ite's were looking for." Belle said before she turned to Gabe, her eyes wide. "Which means you've been helping it, Idiot." She snapped as Theo closed the freezer. Agaves eyes were wide, looking back and forth between the freezer and the three teens.

"I don't even know what you guys are talking about. I was just helping Aaron. It was his idea to test everyone." Gabe blurted and Theo's face scrunched, tilting his head at Gabe.

"Who's Aaron?" Theo asked and Gabe turned to him.

"He's on the lacrosse team." Gabe answered and Belles jaw dropped in realization. "The freshman?!" Belle yelled and Gabe nodded.

Liam looked to Belle and Theo on his right side, shaking his head. "Aaron didn't want to find more of us. He wanted to find his other half."

"He's the Anuk-Ite." Theo added and Belle turned to Liam, nodding her head. "Call Mel."

Belle, Liam, and Theo ended up calling Melanie and Scott. Both of them showed up at around the same time, Malia with Scott. After filling them in on Aaron being the anuk-ite, the three showed Malia, Scott and Melanie the bodies Gabe had shown them earlier in the day.

Malia sighed at the sight, shaking her head as she closed the freezer. "It's a bad day for finding bodies."

Melanie was pulled out of the conversation when Liam grabbed her shoulder. He watched her with worried, protective eyes as he scanned her up and down. "Have you been draining yourself?" Liam asked and Melanie guiltily turned away, answering his question.

Liam gently grabbed Mel's shoulder again and when she turned back to him, his eyes held the same worry. "You spent the whole day taking their pain, didn't you?"

"There's gonna be a lot more if we don't find Aaron's other half." Belle said and Theo sat down on the desk behind him. "Which we know nothing about." He added and Scott turned to Theo, shaking his head. "We do know one thing. We know it's a werewolf. And we need to find this other werewolf right now." Scott said and Liam almost instantly nodded in agreement.

"Preferably before they merge." Liam sighed out. Melanie whipped her head to Liam, her brows furrowed. "What happens if they merge?" Melanie asked quietly and even though the question wasn't directed to him, Scott answered. "I don't know, but I got a feeling that it's not going to be good."

"Any chance you got to put together that army, Scott?" Liam asked, looking up at the boy. Scott turned to his beta and scoffed out a laugh. "You're looking at it." Scott replied as the door to the classroom opened. The six turned out and saw a dirty Peter staring at them.

"Let's hope this thing doesn't feed off desperation, because this room reeks of it." Peter joked. Belle looked at Peter with wide eyes, a smile taking over her face at how beat up he looked. "What happened?"

Peter glared at Belle, his jaw clenching in anger as he pulled a broken steering wheel from behind his back. Belles smile turned into a loud laugh as Peter rolled his eyes, attempting to ignore her. "The hunters destroyed my perfect automobile. So, if this thing had anything to do with it, I'd like to see its demise is appropriately painful."

"I thought you had two cars?" Malia asked. Peter rolled his eyes and held up a part of the cars engine. Melanie turned around and hid her face into Liam's shoulder to hide her laughs. Peter glared at the girl before turning back to Malia, tilting his head in anger.

"There's going to be hell to pay."
