Charlie's Angles

Melanie, Liam, Scott, Stiles and Kira were all at Scott's house when they got a call from Stiles' dad, insisting they come to the hospital.

The group slowly walked out of the elevator to watch rows and rows of officers wheeling dead bodies into the morgue. "Who found them?" Stiles asked, walking up to stand beside his dad who sighed, turning around to face the teens. "Argent. And he said the Doctors were down there. He also said you guys might know what this thing is."

"We've got a theory." Kira said, making Melanie scoff. "It's a slightly terrifying theory." The Sheriff raised his brows at Melanie, shrugging. "Well, the M.E. said that victims were killed somewhere else and then dumped in those tunnels."

"Hey, what if the Dread Doctors are hiding the bodies." Scott asked and Kira looked at him in confusion. "Why would they do that?"

"Maybe they're covering for it. Protecting it like a parent would." Stiles said, making his fathers brows furrow. "Protecting what?"

"A werewolf." Liam announced as Melanie nodded. "It's called the Beast." The Sheriffs eyes widened, making Stiles scoff and nod. "We know. Horrifying."

"We better figure out what we're gonna call Parrish. Because it looks like his dream is coming true." The Sheriff whispered.

...

"By order of the Sheriff, a county-wide curfew goes into effect tonight at sundown. All after-school activities are canceled until further notice. Students should go directly home at the end of the school day." The PA said through the speakers as Melanie and Belle walked towards the girls locker rooms for Lacrosse practice

Right before they walked into the locker rooms, two deputies holding shotguns walked passed them, making Melanie's eyes go wide as Belle scoffed. "Damn, they don't even try to hide the big guns."

As the girls got changed, they heard the locker room doors open, confusing the two since they were the only ones beside Kira on the team and Kira wasn't going to practice.

Suddenly, Malia turned the corner of the aisle Melanie and Belle were. "I need you to tell Scott something for me." Malia said, her eyes on Melanie. The Yukimura girl nodded, looking at Malia worried. "Yeah, uh, why me?"

"Because I can't right now. Now, are you two gonna do it or not?" Malia asked, looking between Melanie and Belle. The two sophomores instantly nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, of course." Melanie said, making Malia nod. "Okay. Just tell him he was right about the tunnels. Just tell him that, okay?"

Malia wen to walk out of the locker room when Belle stopped her. "Wait. What do you mean?" Malia pulled her lips into a line as she looked between the girls before sighing. "When we were down there looking for you two, Liam and Hayden, we didn't know it yet, but we were a lot closer than we thought. There's an Operating Theater down there. Down in the tunnels."

"How do you know?" Melanie asked and Malis shrugged. "Mostly by scent. Just tell him, okay? Tell Scott he was right." Malia said, walking out of the locker room. Once the girls heard the door close, Belle sighed. "My worst nightmare. Scott being right."

...

The girls changed back into their normal clothes and walked out of their locker room, heading straight to the boys locker room to find Liam just barely walking in. Before he could go all the way in, Mel grabbed his hand, pulling him down the hall with Belle beside them.

"Come on." Melanie said, Liam looking at her with wide eyes. "Woah. Where are we going?" Liam asked and Belle rolled her eyes. "We have a mission."

Melanie let out a happy cheer, squeezing Liams hand tighter as she grabbed Belles hand with her other, running out of the school. "Charlie's Angles trio back at it again!"

...

The three slowly walked through the tunnel when Belles phone vibrated. She slowly pulled her phone out of her pocket to read the text. "Come over tonite?" The text form Hayden read. Belle sighed, ignoring the text and shoving her phone in her pocket.

Just as the three were about to turn a corner, they were met with glowing red eyes in the dark. Mel yelped, jumping into Liams sighed as Scott chuckled, walking into light. "You guys lost?"

Melanie calmed when she realized it was Scott. She slowly nodded. "Completely." Scott chuckled, walking to stand beside the three.

"How did you know we were down here?" Belle asked, slightly annoyed as Scott smirked. "I followed you."

"Why are you following us?" Liam asked and Scott turned to him, his eyebrows raised. "Why are you three down here?" Mel turned to Liam, watching as he opened and closed his mouth in shock, making Melanie roll her eyes, turning to Scott. "We're just trying to figure out if this is where they took us." Scott's brows furrowed, making Belle tilt her head. "Us and Hayden."

Scott nodded as Melanie continued. "Malia said she was down here too. That the scent was the same. She said you were right." Melanie said, making Belle scoff. "Sadly." Melanie elbowed Belle in the ribs as Scott looked down the tunnels, pointing ahead of them. "Uh, there's a turn you guys keep passing. It's easy to miss."

Melanie turned down the tunnel before looking back to Scott. "How many times did you watch us pass it?"

"Five." Scott instantly answered, making the three roll their eyes as he chuckled. "Come on. Let's see if we can find it together." Scott said, wrapping a playful arm around Belle to walk with the teens.

...

The four had been walking when Scott suddenly stopped his eyes going wide as he turned to Belle and Liam. "Do you feel that?"

Melanie's eyes went wide as Belle froze to few what Scott was feeling and Liam bent down on the ground. "Feel? Feel what?" Melanie asked as Liam slowly stood up. "Like something's vibrating."

"I can't tell where it's coming from." Belle muttered, shaking her head. Scotts eyes went wide as he looked ahead of them in the tunnels. "It's coming from everywhere."

"We've been walking around for hours." Melanie groaned. Liam nodded in agreement, sighing. "Yeah. And all we've been able to find is some stupid snake sculpture on the wall." Belle, Scott and Melanie's head whipped to the snake on the wall beside them. Belle groaned, flicking Liam on the forehead. "Liam, you idiot!"

Liam winced in pain, holding onto his forehead as he squinted at her. "What? You think it's important?" Melanie grabbed his hand, looking at him with wide eyes. "You didn't?"

Scott walked towards the snake, he put his hands on it before spinning it. The wall slowly opened into a door. Melanie let out a small laugh as they slowly walked in.

As they walked further into the room when the click of a gun rang through the air. Slowly, Chris Argent walked out from the dark, an old man following behind him, making Belle and Scott grow angry. "Oh no." Scott whispered, align Chris frown. "I had to."

"Hello, Scott." The old man said. Scott's eyes turned red in anger, making the mans eyes go wide in shock. "I haven't seen that color on you. It suits you." The old man said before his eyes fell on Belle, making him chuckle as he pointed at her. "Oh, and look... the mean one grew up."

"Shut up." Belle snapped, her fangs growing in anger at the sight of the man, catching Mel's attention.

"Who's the hell is this old guy?" Melanie asked, her and Liam leaning towards Belle since she looked so angry at the sight of the old man. The old man chuckled, making Mel and Liam turn to him. "Uh, at the moment, uh, they would call me a necessary evil. But you can call me Gerard."

Belle let out a low growl at Gerard. Mel's eyes went wide, pulling Belle into her side as Scott looked at Chris with wide eyes. "What were you thinking?"

"That we need him." Chris instantly answered as Gerard chuckled. "He's right. If you want to catch a werewolf like the Beast of Gevaudan, you're going to need more than one Argent."

"He knows all the stories. All the folklore. Everything written and everything passed down." Chris said. Belle glared at Gerard, Scott noticed, slowly pushing her behind him as he turned back to Chris. "You sure about this?" Scott asked, gesturing to Gerard.

"Take a look." Chris said, walking into another room, gesturing for the teens to follow him. Melanie looked up at the wall across from them, her eyes going wide at a portrait of two big creatures, one covered in fire and the other normal.

"The one on the right is the Beast of Gevaudan. Do you know what the other one is?" Chris asked, turning to the four teens, all of them shaking their heads. Gerard let out a hum, making everyone turn to him. "The Hellhound. The guardian of supernatural places. They're both creatures of the night. But you may know them as ordinary people during the day."

"And most likely neither of them know what they are." Chris said. Scott slowly turned to Liam with wide eyes, turning to Melanie and Belle with the same expression, confusing the Argents. "What is it?" Chris ask, making Scott sigh, turning to him. "We found a message in Latin... Damnatio Memoriae."

Gerard let out a small gasp, turning to the portrait. "They want it to remember itself." "That might give us time." Chris mumbled, making Belles brows furrow as she turned to him. "Time for what?"

"To prevent this." Chris said, walking passed Gerard. He stood right in front of the Portrait and kinked the bottom part of the drywall, finishing the artwork. At the bottom of the Hellhound and the Beast was piles and piles of bodies.

"Who are they?" Liam asked as Melanie looked at the drawing with wide eyes. "Us." She whispered, making everyone turn to her. "It's all of us."

...

The group stood around Scott's coffee table as Liam slowly grabbed the Eichen Security Log out of his bag and placed it on the table. Melanie smiled at the book, grabbing Liams hand and resting her head on his shoulder. Scott smiled, looking around the table at the group.

"Now we get Lydia."
