Be Polite

After a long time of convincing Scott and partially convincing Malia, Theo was staying for the time being.

Belle, Liam and Hayden were heading to the transformer, Theo trailing behind them in chains as Liam contemplated the entire plan. "This was a bad idea." He said, making Belle whip her head to him. "It's not a bad idea." She snapped.

"It is a terrible idea." Theo yelled from behind the three, making Belle growl, pulling the chain in her hands. Theo stumble forward slightly before he looked at the back of Belles head in shock, shaking his head. His eyes trailing on the ground as they all continued to walk. "I told you where the transformer is. I told you how it works. I don't need to be there when it all blows up."

"It's not going to blow up." Belle yelled, not looking back at the boy. Hayden nodded along with Belle, looking back at Theo with an annoyed glare. "They ride the lightning. We can use that to catch one and keep him there until we figure out what they want. It's a good idea."

Theo rolled his eyes at the two girls' optimism, looking at the back of their heads, annoyed. "You're trying to catch a Ghost Rider. A million things can go wrong. Terrible idea."

"The bad idea was bringing you back." Belle snapped, stopping her steps and glaring at the boy. Hayden looked at Belle with wide eyes, shaking her head and grabbing Belles hand to get her attention.

When Belle turned to her, Belle gave the girl a soft smile, shaking her head. "You took a risk. We took a risk. But it was the right thing to do." Hayden said. Belles shook her head, her eyes trailing to the ground, making Hayden immediately cup the girls cheek, making her look up at her.

"I believe in you." Hayden whispered. Belle smiled, softly at the girl, taking Hayden's hand off her face and holding it instead, finally starting to smile.

"You guys want us to leave you alone?" Theo asked, pointing between him and Liam. Belle shut her eyes in annoyance, slowly turning to Theo as her lips curled in anger. Before the boy could even process it, Belle pulled the chain again, Theo flying forward but caught himself just before he hit the ground.

"We better hurry." Belle muttered before waking towards the transformer, Liam and Hayden beside her as she pulled Theo harshly.

...

When the four got the the transformer, Mason, Corey and Scott were already there. Hayden smiled at the room, glad her plan was coming together. "You did it." The Romero girl breathed out happily, smiling at the three boys.

Corey smiled at Hayden, shrugging as if it was nothing. "Of course we did it." Mason nodded, smiling as he pat the transformer. "This thing can transmute the energy from a lightning bolt. Even successive strikes."

Scott nodded at the two boys excited enthusiasm before he turned to Mason, raising his brows unsurely. "Mason, are you sure this is gonna work?" Mason turned to Scott, nodding his head. "Whatever's inside this cage is shielded from any outside electrical current. So the Ghost Rider won't be able to use lightning to escape. We put a lightning rod on the roof and connected it to that conduit cable. Drawing the Ghost Rider to that spot." Mason rambled and the group nodded, not fully understanding the words but getting the idea as Corey added on.

"We can't send him directly in because the cage neutralizes electromagnetism. Lightning will just bounce off it. Which is the same reason it'll hold him in."

"If the Ghost Rider lands here, how do we get him in the cage?" Liam asked and Scott shrugged his shoulders as if the answer was obvious. "We have to lure him in." Scott said and Liams brows rose in worry. "Bait?"

Before Scott could even answer Liam, Hayden spoke up. "I'll do it." Belle immediately turned to the girl, shaking her head as a dry laugh passed her lips. "Yeah... no."

Hayden sighed at Belle, tilting her head. "Bel-" "No. I'll do it." Belle instantly interrupted, shaking her head. Hayden chuckled at her girlfriends determination, giving her a reassuring smile. "It'll be okay. I'm faster than you."

Scott knowing it was better to have Hayden be the bait, nodded with the Romero girl. "As soon as Hayden's out, Scott and Liam, you guys close the gates, and then I'll put down a barrier of mountain ash." Scott said and Belle raised her hand, shaking her head. "I'm still not liking the bait plan." She announced but the group ignored her.

"I'll be on the roof to take down the rod." Corey said before pointing between him and Mason. "We'll be on the lookout for any other Ghost Riders." Mason nodded in agreement with Corey's words before turning to Scott with a hopeful smile. "What do you think?"

"I think it's the best idea that we have right now." Scott shrugged out, making Theo sigh. "As long as everything goes perfectly and he doesn't escape and kill us all." Theo grumbled, making Belle immediately let out a dry chuckle, turning to Theo with a fake smile. "You are so optimistic."

Thunder cracking through the air made everyone leave their side conversations, looking up at the ceiling as if they could see the sky. Scott slowly smirked, looking around at the group. "Let's do it."

With that, Corey and Mason ran out of the building to do their part of the plan as Scott, Theo, Liam and Belle his while Hayden stayed in the middle of the room, waiting for a Ghost Rider to appear.

After a little less than a minute of waiting, lightning stuck the transformer and a Ghost Rider appeared in front of Hayden. Hayden transferred her weight between her feet, waiting for the Ghost Rider to come her way so she could run.

The Ghost rider suddenly ran for the girl and Hayden wasted no time to run through the first set of gates, the Ghost Rider hot on her heels. When Hayden got closer to Liam and Belles gate, the two teens ran out from her hiding spot and grabbed onto the gate, ready for her to pass them.

As soon as Hayden passed Liam and Belles gate, they closed it just as the Ghost Rider got to them, not letting him through. While the Ghost Rider looked between Liam, Belle and Hayden, Belle snuck her arm through one of the holes in the gate, grabbing the Riders gun just as he turned around, heading to the other gate he had used to get in but now, Scott and Theo started to close it.

Just before it could close all the way, the gate jammed with a little less than a foot short. Scott looked at the gate with wide eyes, trying to use all the strength he could to unjam it as the Ghost Rider grabbed Theo's arm, trying to pull him inside with him.

Theo yelled in pain at his arm being yanked but he shook his head, looking at Scott. "Come on. Keep closing it." Theo yelled at Scott just as a sickening crack echoing in the air from Theo's arm breaking.

Realizing the boys need help, Belle ran from her gate with Liam and Hayden, running towards Scott and Theo. "Go! Go!" Belle screamed, grabbing Theo's good hand, pulling him free from the gate and backed away from the Ghost Rider as Scott closed the gate.

He, Hayden and Liam all slowly backed up so they were beside Belle and Theo. The Ghost Rider looked between the teens, immediately going to grab his gun and froze at the feeling of it not there.

Belle smirked, pulling it out of the back of her jeans waistline, keeping it facing the ceiling. "Nice try, bitch." She said, her smirk only growing wider.

"It worked." Liam muttered, a big smile growing on his face as Belle laughed, turning to him with the same big grin. "Hell, yeah. It did."

"Now what do we do?" Theo asked, looking at Scott from the other side of Belle. "Try and talk to him." Scott said, elbowing Liam closer to the Ghost Rider. Liam looked back at Scott in shock before turning to the Ghost Rider and clearing his throat.

"Mr. Ghost Rider?" Liam asked and Belles head immediately dropped. "Oh my God." She muttered, catching Liam's attention, whipping his head to her. "What?" He whisper yelled, looking at the girl angrily for ruining his interrogation.

"Are you really gonna be formal to a Goddamn Ghost Rider?" Belle whisper yelled back at the boy. Liam shrugged defensively, shaking his head. "I'm just trying to be polite!"

"Why so he and his friends take you last?" Belle snapped before her eyes widened and she looked off to the ground. "Wait, that's a good idea." She muttered to herself before turning to the Ghost Rider with innocent eyes and an innocent smile. lMr. Rider?"

The Ghost Riser slowly turned to Belle and the blonde rose her chin to show dominance as she crossed her arms over her chest. "We'll let you out if you tell us how to get our friends back."

"Everyone. We want everyone back." Scott clarified, making Belle nod. "Tell us how to get them all back." Belle repeated but the Ghost Rider remained silent. Theo looked back and forth between Belle and the Ghost Rider before clearing his throat.

"This is the plan?" Theo asked, leaning towards Belles ear. Belle scoffed slightly, not taking her eyes off the Ghost Rider as she shook her head. "We actually didn't think we'd get this far so we didn't plan this part of the plan."

Scott sighed at the plan going to failure as he shook his head, looking back and forth between Belle and Liam, trying to ignore Theo as best as he could. "It's okay. Look, we got him trapped. He can't get out. We just have to figure out how to communicate with him. Maybe he can't hear us. Maybe he speaks an ancient language." Scott suggested, making Liam nod, turning to look at him. "Maybe he only responds to pain."

"Or fear." Belle added and Theo scoffed. "Nothing's gonna scare this thing. Look at him. He's a walking corpse." Theo snarked out, gesturing to the Ghost Rider. Liam squinted at the creature, shaking his head. "Something's wrong."

Belle playfully pouted at Liams words, tilting her head as she looked at Liam with fake sad eyes. "Oh, what? You think Theo hurt his feelings calling him a walking corpse?"

Liam ignored Belles remarks, looking at the Ghost Rider in shock. "Why'd he stop trying to get out?"

Belles face fell, looking away from Liam to the Ghost Rider. The Rider looked between the four teens before facing the ceiling. He suddenly let out a blood curdling shriek, making the four wolves cover their ears in pain.

When the Ghost Rider stopped, Belle slowly removed her hands from her ears, looking at the Ghost Rider in shock. "Did he just call for backup?" Belle asked and Scott just watch the Rider with wide eyes, shaking his head. "We have to figure out how to talk to him. Or else get the hell out of here."

...

After Mason scrambled into the room, telling them that Parrish can speak to Ghost Riders, the group wasted no time to call the deputy and have him speak to the Ghost Rider.

"Ask him how we get everyone back." Scott said as he, Liam, Belle and Theo stood behind the deputy.

"Tell us how we get everyone back." Parrish said, eyeing the Ghost Rider. The rider rose hood chin higher, a small shriek escaping his mouth. Liam's brows furrowed at the noise, looking at Scott and Belle in confusion. "What was that? Did he say something?"

"He said hellhound." Parrish said, making the four turn back to him and the a Ghost Rider. "Is that a good thing?" Belle asked and Parrish shrugged, not knowing.

"Ask him again." Scott said and Parrish nodded, taking a daring step towards the Ghost Rider. "What do you want from us?"

The Ghost Rider tilted his head, taking a step closer to the barrier, almost mocking Parrish. "We are the Wild Hunt. We hunt forever. Those who hunt with us hunt forever."

Everyone froze at the Ghost Riders words; not expecting him to speak actual words to them. Belle slowly shook her head in denial, looking between the people around her. "Wh- What does that mean?"

Parrish looked back at Belle, sensing her discomfort before he turned back to the Ghost Rider. "Tell us what you want." He said, his voice angrier as he spoke but the Ghost Rider said the same thing as before.

"We are the Wild Hunt. Those who hunt with us hunt forever."

Theo scoffed, shaking his head. "That clarifies things." He muttered. Scott shook his head in anger at the Ghost Riders words, looking at him angrily. "What do we have to do to get everyone back? Do you want something from us?" Scott announced, his voice louder than the other times he'd spoken. The Ghost Rider turned to Scott, tilting his head at the alpha, making everyone tense.

"Why's he looking at Scott?" Liam asked. Parrish looked back at the four teens before looking back at the Ghost Rider with squinted eyes.

"He figured out Scott's the Alpha." Parrish whispered in shock. Belles eyes went wide, looking at the alpha beside her before side stepping away from him, standing closer to Theo instead. Scott side eyed Belle before rolling his eyes. "There must be something you want." Scott snarked and the Ghost Rider took a step back, raising his chin again.

"There is only the Hunt. No one resists. No one escapes."  The Ghost Rider repeated and Scott growled under his breath. "If they can't be bargained with, we're gonna have to fight 'em. I'm comin' for my friends. I'm comin' for everyone. I won't stop. I'll never stop until we get everyone back." Scott said, glaring at the Ghost Rider.

Suddenly, Parrish straightened up, his eyes calming, confusing everyone in the room. "Parrish? You okay?" Scott asked and the man took another step closer to the Ghost Rider, for starting the circulate around him.

"Parrish? What's happening?" Belle yelled, trying to raise her voice to catch the man's attention. When he didn't respond to the girl, Theo watched him with wide eyes, looking between him and Scott.

"Scott! What is he doing?" Theo yelled, looking at Scott with wide eyes. Scott looked at Parrish with wide eyes, shaking his head. "He's gonna set him free." Scott muttered in shock, looking at the Hellhound in shock. Belle looked at Scott with wide eyes before turning back to Parrish.

"Hey, hey, Parrish, Parrish, stop!" Belle yelled but the man ignored her, pressing his hands against the barrier. "We need to do something." Liam yelled before he and Scott met eyes, both of them thinking the same idea.

Scott nodded at Liam. "Yeah. On three. One, tw-" "Get out of my way." Belle yelled, interrupting Scott's countdown. She pushed Liam and Scott back and growled at Parrish before throwing a punch right in his face, knowing the man unconscious and onto the ground.

Belle sighed, running a hand through her hair as she turned around to face Scott, Liam and Theo. "Sorry about that. I needed to hit something." She said and Scott gave her a parenting glare before sighing, shaking his head. "Lets take him outside in case he wakes."

Belle and Liam nodded, both going to help Scott grab the still burning up Parrish before Belle froze, turning around to Theo. "You." She announced, catching the three boys' attention, Theo's eyes widening at Belles glare towards him.

"Don't do anything or you'll be the next thing I punch." Belle threatened before bending down, grabbing Parrish's legs as Scott  and Liam each got an arm.

Just before they left the building completely, Scott looked up at Theo, locking eyes with the boy. "I won't stop her." He said before walking out, taking Parrish's body to a random place in the woods.

...

It was quiet between the three as they walked back; Scott a few steps ahead of Belle and Liam as the two sophomores walked side by side with each other.

Belle was trying to hold back any winces of pain from the feeling of her claws piercing the palms of her hands but Liam could smell the blood and looked down at her fists sadly. "She's your anchor too?"

Belle looked up at Liam before back down at her hands, opening them to look at the wounds she had created. She frowned at the crescent shaped cuts before she wiped the blood off on her pants, sighing.  "Yeah." She muttered before she reprocessed Liams words.

"She's your anchor too?" Belle asked and Liam nodded, making the Parker girl shake her head, looking at Liam with confused eyes. "How are you not wolfing out? If Mel's your anchor too?" Belle asked, watching her feet as she walked over the dry leaves before looking up at Liam with soft eyes. The Dunbar boy sighed, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets as he kept his eyes on the ground.

"It's taking everything in me not to lose control. And until we get Mel back, my anchor is going to be trying to get her back." Liams aid, finally looking up to look at Belle.

Belle gave the boy a small smile, wrapping her arm around his shoulders and pulling him into her side as she nodded. "We're gonna get her back." She muttered and Liam nodded as they finally reached the building where they had left Theo; Hayden and Mason waiting outside of it.

The five of them slowly walked in and instantly Belles had dropped from around Liam, looking at what was around her in shock.

The mountain ash barrier was broken and the Ghost Rider laid dead, his head cracked open while Theo sat in the corner, his eyes wide and teary in shock.

Belles lips curled in anger as she stomped towards Theo, pulling him up by the collar of his shirt. "What did you do?" Belle asked, pressing Theo up against the tank behind him angrily. Theo shook his head, his eyes tearing up as he looked at the Ghost Rider. "It was Mr. Douglas. He ate his brain."

Scott looked down at the dead body, recognizing the injuries from the news and from what his mom had told him and he slowly shook his head. "It wasn't his brain. Mr. Douglas ate his pineal gland."

Masons face scrunched as he slowly shook his head. "Well then, it couldn't have been Theo. These murders have been going on for weeks." At the Hewitt boys words, Belle let go of Theo, turning to him and shrugging as if she did nothing wrong. "Sorry, dude. At least I didn't punch you."

Suddenly, Hayden let out a gasp, catching everyone's attention as she slowly looked up from the dead body to the group. "Guys. His whip's gone."
