"Damn. Y'know, I never really expected that ending when I watched it." Tony commented once the credits rolled on The Departed.

After the 'incident' at dinner, Bucky was a no show and the kids decided to have a marathon of Scorsese's films instead.

Peter and Ned were in a shocked silence while MJ was unfazed as she had seen it before.

"Wh—Wait, what? What just happened?" Peter lifted his hands up in the air with a over the top exasperated sigh.

"Why did you make us watch that? I'm pissed off and satisfied at the same time!" Ned sat up, while Peter tossed popcorn at the large screen of the home theater.

"Hey, don't get butter on these seats." Tony still noticed the streak of popcorn with his blurry vision. He waved a hand at the leather couches with a mock glare.

"Sorry, Mr. Stark." Peter quickly shot out, sitting up a little straighter while MJ rolled her eyes.

"You're such a wimp."

Peter warningly held a handful of popcorn towards MJ.
"Say another word, I dare you."

"Wow, that moment deserves to be drawn. The menacing Peter Parker threatening to throw popcorn at me." She turned her face towards the sketchbook in her lap before a popcorn hit her right in the face.

"Tony!" MJ mockingly tattle taled.

"Don't drag me into this." The billionaire muttered.

"Why not, your his Dad." MJ smirked.

Peter's face burned an embarrassed red at that, both of his hands covering his face. Tony merely chuckled before standing and stretching his back. It gave a few satisfying cracks before he grabbed at a bowl of popcorn and made his way towards the door. He hesitantly put his hand on Peter's shoulder as he left.

"I'm going to go to sleep until one, don't wake me up." Tony called before he opened the door.

"But, it's already one." Ned replied.

"One in the afternoon." Peter supplied, already knowing of how late the billionaire could sleep in.

Tony winked before leaving only to bump right into none other than James Buchanan Barnes.

"We have got to stop meeting like this, Bucky bear."

The ex-assassin didn't laugh at his joke which was a bad sign.

"Are you in the Winter Soldier mindset right now?" Tony grew wary, knowing full well Bucky could see the fear in his eyes.

"No."

"Okay..."

There was a moment filled with silence and Tony's confusion.

"Look, I don't feel like twenty questions, soldier."

"I'm sorry about what happened at dinner."

"Oh, yeah okay. But that wasn't your fault."

"It was." Bucky grew angry, though seemingly more with himself rather than the engineer.

"Hey, I say some pretty rude shit on accident when I'm pissed. I've been on the receiving end of stuff like that too. Yours wasn't even bad."

Bucky glared at the floor after he heard the last few bits of Tony's statement but he forced himself to look relaxed.

"We good now? Want some popcorn?"

The ex-assassin reluctantly took the bowl of popcorn that was offered.

"We can go watch a movie? Maybe that ridiculous documentary they just made about me?"

Bucky only gave a minuscule nod before following in step with Tony towards his bedroom.

"This was just released a few months ago but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet." Tony mumbled before he asked FRIDAY to turn the TV on while Bucky hesitantly sat on the billionaire's bed.

"We should make guesses on what they'll assume about me." Tony sounded giddy at that, hopping right next to Bucky with an outrageously soft faux mink blanket.

The ex-assassin placed a tentative hand on the blanket it Tony's lap, dumbfounded at how utterly soft it was.

"Crazy, huh? It was three hundred bucks. You can have it if want, I already have a few of 'em." Tony offered, tossing half of the blanket on Bucky's lap as he leaned against the headboard of his bed.

"Thank you."

"Uh, yeah no problem." Tony was sure he failed at feigning nonchalance but Bucky seemed to buy it.

"Okay, FRIDAY start it up!"

The lights dimmed as the documentary began to play.

"I'm guessing they'll say I have daddy issues and that I buy gifts for my friends because I'm scared they'll leave me. What about you?" Tony joked as he pulled the blanket up to his shoulders.

Bucky only hummed in reply, his eyes already on the screen.
