It was a pretty sunrise in Seattle but I didn't really get to watch it. I was too busy working. Hopefully nothing to crazy. I was working in the ER with Cristina and Mer. But Cristina and I were relaxing and eating crips. "Are you two gonna help me at all, or just sit there and eat potato chips?" Mer asked us both and I looked at her.

"I need a snack break then I'll be there." I said to her and she gave me a look.

"I performed four back-to-back fem-pop bypasses today. This is the first chair I've seen since 7 a.m. and this is the first food I've had since yesterday. I choose potato chips." Cristina said before the phone rang. "You might wanna get that." Cristina said and Mer shook her head at us.

"I'm definitely not." I said to her and she answered the phone.

"Seattle Grace Mercy West Emergency." Mer said while answering the phone.

"You brought this on yourself. You know. You both volunteered to help run the ER." Cristina said to the two of us.

"My sons ill I'd rather be here." I said to her and she smiled and before giving me a high five.

"Got it." Mer said before putting the phone down. "We've got a suspected appy on a ten-year-old. Let's page Robbins. You know, I saw a need and I filled it, like any good Chief resident candidate." Mer said and I finished my bag.

"Right, the crisps have gone. Now I'm off to do work." I said to them both and walked off I put the wrapper in the bin and went to check on the patients. I had a guy who needed a couple of stitches. Callie had asked me to be the baby's godmother. I accepted, a thousand times.

"Are you might doctor?" He asked me, he seemed a little ashamed to be here.

"I am, I'm Dr. Y/l/n. I will make this as pain free as possible." I said to him and he let out a little laugh.

"Well nice to meet you Dr. Y/l/n, I'm Dr. Zugasti. Don't tell my Dad I'm here." He said to me and gave me a smile and a wink. I laughed a little bit.

"Coming on a little strong aren't we Zugasti." I said to him and he looked at me as I started getting everything ready.

"Just shooting my shot." He said to me with a smile and I gave him a certain look.

"I already have a boyfriend. So I'm fine." I said to him, and I heard someone walk in.

"Can somebody do something about this?" I heard a guy ask, a knife to the head. I was staying here.

"I'm staying here." I said while looking at that guy.

"Not your field?" He asked me and I looked at him with a smile.

"Way different. It's not a bone." I said to him and he smiled.

"Same speciality. I'm always in Ortho." He said to me and I looked at him and started doing his stitches.

"That's nice to know." I said to him with a smile and little nod.

"I'm Canda. That's my out of work name." He said to me and I looked at him and gave him a look.

"I don't remember when I asked Zugasti but I'll try and remember that Canda." I said to him before I saw Jackson walk out. "Jackson!" I shouted him and he walked over to me.

"So that's your boyfriend. I see why I was dealt with rejection." He said to me with a smile. "Pretty boy." He said to me as he came over to me.

"Yes." He said as he kissed me on the cheek.

"Don't forget our date. 8pm." I said to him and he smiled at me.

"I won't forget don't worry." I said to him and I finished up on doing the sutures on Zugasti. I looked at him. "Now I've got a patient." He said to me with a smile.

"Your down. Now in the nicest way possible. Zugasti get out of my ER." I said to him and he chuckled a little bit.

"On my way. See you around Y/l/n." He said to me and I wrote his discharge papers. He then left. I then had to give a consult on someone. Hopefully Callie would come down soon. And once she did we both went to see who it was. And it was Adele.

"I am so sorry to keep you waiting, Mrs. Webber. You hurt your wrist in a fall?" Callie asked her and hopefully she was all alright.

"It was so silly. I just gotten home and I was trying to get some...Oh...reach something on the top shelf. I just landed wrong." She said to us, her wrist was looking very bruised.

"Her wrist absorbed all the impact." Webber said to us, I wish I'd known it was Adele.

"It looks painful. We'll get you some more pain meds to help with that. Uh, your X-ray shows a hairline fracture. So it could have been a lot worse. We'll splint you up and get you out of here in no time, Ok?" Callie asked before we walked away.

"It was nice for the heads up. If only we knew it was Adele." I said to her and we both looked at each other.

"Would've made everything a lot easier." She said to me and now we were just trying to get through the rest of the night and I swear this whole thing was just never ending. And it was not coming at all. We then had to prep to go for an OR to put plaster on a four year olds broken femur and hopefully this would be a lot easier. Hopefully it wasn't anyone important's son like the mayor or something. It was just a kid who was in pain and needed to not feel the pain anymore. Once we got him out of the OR we took him to the peds ward.

"It's 8. Let's go are you ready?" Jackson asked me and he kissed me and I turned to face him.

"Let me get out of scrubs and then I'll be there. Wait for me." I said to him and he smiled at me.

"I'd wait as long as I need for you." He said to me with a smile and I went to go to locker room to get changed. And I went out to meet him and we we're heading to the game. Floor seats none the less. Which was going to be good.
