Chapter 16

Chapter 16

"You're mine now." I said and lead the way.

Now I'll be the leader of this. I hate being the slave.

I stopped and turned to him when I notice he didn't follow me. Turns out he was smiling like he was flattered with what I just said.

"By the way, whatever I say, you need to follow them all. Understand?" I raised my brow.

"Yes, ma'am!" He saluted.

I smiled and went near him to give him a peck on the lips.

His eyes widened.

"A prize for the good boy." I patted his shoulder and led my way.

A cab parked in front of me when I raised my hand. I turned to Aiden who was still in shock, I motioned my hands to get in and went in the cab.

I told him that this would be a pay for being my tutor but then more like it turns out to be a date. We ate in a simple fastfood handpicked by him.

"I'll pay." He said in the middle of eating.

"No. I'll pay." I said.

"I have money to—"

"Save it for yourself. I thought I'm your sugar mommy?" I smirked.

He narrowed his eyes on me.

"But—"

I inserted a fries inside his mouth and bit the left one outside. Our lips met in a short time but I didn't mind and chew the french fries while he was in shock again.

"PDA." He whispered.

"I'm legal." I stated.

But it looks like I'm stating something bad . . . or trying to mean something.

"I'm minor." He laughed.

I tweaked his ears that he flinched.

"Just kidding, okay! I'm turning 18!" He shielded.

"When's your birthday?" I asked and removed my hands off his ears to continue eating.

"February 20."

I nodded and a creepy thought crept into my mind.

"I'll buy you a key as a birthday gift."

At my peripheral vision, I saw his eyed widening a fraction.

"What key?" He asked and grabbed a water to drink.

"Hotel key."

He spat the water and coughed. I laughed at his reaction.

"What? You're already legal that time right? So it won't be illegal to do it with you?" I asked, laughing.

Of course I didn't mean it. I'm not innocent and therefore, I know how painful it is to lose your virginity especially at the young age.

Besides, he looks like a big . . . deal to handle. I'm small.

Fuck! What's with the dirty thoughts, Miracle?!

He covered his dick I didn't know my eyes were looking at.

"What are you looking at?" He looked apprehensive.

"The prize." I smirked.

His jaw widened in terror as a petrified look slowly crept into his face.

I shrugged and grabbed the footlong on the table.

"How is it like?" I asked.

"The what?" He paled.

"Is it like this?" I pointed the hotdog inside the footlong.

He stared at me in utter horrification.

"Or is it like this?" I pointed the huge footlong itself.

"Miracle . . ."

I shrugged and tried to fit the long footlong inside my mouth. His jaw drop at the sight, I laughed because I enjoy teasing him but then the bread touched the dip of my throat that I coughed.

He laughed at my sudden outburst. He removed the bread off my mouth and gave me a water. He was patting my back as he laugh while I'm in the midst of death here.

"What was that for?" He asked, laughing, when my cough subsided.

"Foreshadowing." I said and drank the water.

"You're such a naughty girl." He shook his head with a smile.

"I'm not a girl. I'm your sugar mommy, remember?" I put my wallet down on the table.

"Oh. So I got a hot sugar mommy then?" He played along.

"Better be good— no, a master or else . . ."

At the back of my mind, I mentally grimace at our conversation.

"Master in what?" His brows rose.

"Every thing." I smirked.

He let out a defeated sigh and shook his head.

After our breakfast, I told him we should go to the national bookstore to buy him some painting stuff.

"I can—"

"You shut up. I told you, this is my payment for being my tutor." I shut him off and grabbed an acrylic paint on the shelf.

"But—"

I threw all the colors I can see in the basket he was holding behind me. I also grabbed all the pencil and brushes I can see. The basket was almost full when I turned to him.

"Grab some cart. Bigger than that." I commanded and grabbed the different sizes of canvas.

He grumbled but nevertheless, he followed what I ordered.

"Good boy. Wanna peck?" I teased and threw the canvas in the cart he's rolling.

I went at the edge of the bookstore and looked at the things displayed on the shelf.

"Yes." He said I don't know what was for.

I grabbed a sketch notebook and turned to him to show him the notebook.

"Make a lot of sketch here." I suggested.

"I said yes." He said.

"What?" I asked, confused.

He shook his head and went near me. My eyes widened when he lifted my jaw and stole a fast kiss. He nodded after that and passed by me as he look at the things on the shelf as if he did nothing.

I stifle a smile and ran towards him. I wrapped my hands on his arm and looked at the things on the shelf too. He removed my hands off him so I looked up to him but my anger subsided when he leaned his arms on my shoulder while the other was pushing the cart.

My day ended with a smile plastered on my face. I brought him a lot of supplies, he wants to insist he'll pay them when he save enough money but I'm the boss so he cannot do anything about it.

"Monday!" I uttered excitedly and went down the stairs with my backpack hanging on my left shoulder.

"You're too early." Pixie yawned, she was on the first floor, carrying his baby sister in a baby carrier as she sweep the floor.

"I'll go." I kissed the baby's cheek and she giggled at that.

I smiled at her and pinched her cheeks, not so tight. I'm soft for babies and I'm fond of them so much to think they are the innocent one, yet I know they'll be molded by cruelty as they grew older. If they could only stay like this and be innocent, I'd be happy.

With a hum, I went inside the school and I'm right because I saw Aiden sitting on the bench, scratching something on the sketchbook I brought yesterday.

"Good morning, Weakling!" I greeted with a smile.

"Oh! Good morning." He closed the sketchbook and put it inside him.

I sat beside him and faced him.

"Let's go on a date." I said.

"We just did that yesterday?"

I shook my head.

"That's not enough. Let's cut class."

"Cut class? But you know I'm a graduating student for highschool."

That's why! I don't want you to graduate just yet!

"Come on! Just once!" I insisted.

I'm being selfish, yes. I'll do anything for my happiness because I know no one can give me that unless indulging myself in a selfish acts.

If he graduate in high school, he needs to leave me just like what he did in elementary. Then I'll be left and stuck alone here in my high school years. Let's be honest, I already expect not to graduate in this shit so might as well enjoy it.

Truth be told, we cut class before the school bell even ring. I'm being a bad influence that I turned to him with am evil smile on my face.

He was grumbling while walking. My bag's on his back while his bag's in front of his. He looks like my slave--- cute slave for that scowl on his face.

"Oh! Sunrise!" I pointed the sky.

I looked at the sunrise and a light bulb popped into my mind.

"Let's go to the Manhattan bridge and watch the sunrise!" I dragged his hands and ran.

He let me drag him and when we reached the bridge, I walked across the Manhattan bridge and stopped midway. Sunrise's already at its peak, its rays are strong that I couldn't look directly at its beauty as if shy by my presence. Nevertheless, I held the diamond mesh and stared at the river down the bridge for it's glimmering now due to sunrise's presence over it.

I turned to Aiden who's at the edge, covering his body with the shadow. His back's leaning against the mesh as he sketch something and immediately when he saw me, he closed the notebook and looked at the sunrise.

"Let's go to the Brooklyn bridge when the sunset comes." I said with a smile.

"We're cutting class the whole day?" He seems shock.

"Why? You don't want?" My smile dissipated.

He sighed and shook his head.

"Sketch me here." I pose a peace sign and pointed the sunrise above.

He laughed.

"It'll take time. I'll just take a photo." He grabbed his phone and I heard the camera click.

I smiled and straightened my back for the camera. He took several pictures so I also posed several poses that made him laugh. I'm a pro with poses since my brother's an addict of taking pictures of me, I'm used to it.

All the time as he take photo, he was smiling wide, enjoying it so I already enjoyed taking a pose.

When done, we brought street foods. He brought for me, I insisted but then he was fast to pay it so I couldn't do anything. We talked, laughed and teased each other. By the lunch time, we stayed in the café and he taught me as he said he's my tutor and I should learn something that even when I don't like, he's convincing, I ended up learning.

"Done!" I stretched my arms when finish solving the equation he wants me to solve.

He closed the sketchbook since he's been sketching while I solve the problem. He looked at the notebook and an amazed parted lips formed into his lips as he nod.

"Good girl!" He rubbed my hair.

I took almost an hour to solve one simple problem he can only solve for a minutes but he seemed so proud, it boosted my eager to learn and solve faster.

"Sunset's coming. Let's go!" I uttered excitedly when I looked up to the sky outside the café's glass window

I stood and he stood too. Without waiting for him, I ran outside while he clean the littered papers, notebooks and pens on the table I did earlier.

Whatever I want to do, we did it. We really did go to the Brooklyn bridge when sunset's at its peak. He even brought me a chocolate ice cream and now I'm eating my ice cream as I stare at the beautiful sunset here on the bridge.

Just like earlier, he's behind me, sketching something. There's a huge pedestrian friendly across us so I turned to him and went beside him as I eat the ice cream.

I saw his sketch. It was a girl's back in her school uniform.

"Who's that?" I raised my brow.

He shut the sketchbook when he saw me taking a peak at his sketching.

"Something beautiful." He looked at the sunset.

I narrowed my eyes on him.

"I thought I own you?" I asked.

He turned to me.

"Yes. Why?" He laughed.

"Then who's that girl?" I looked at the shut sketchbook.

"The girl who owns me, of course." He shrugged.

"Tss." A smile formed into my lips when I shifted my attention back to the sunset.

He pinched my cheeks and watched the sunset with me. I want to reach his height but he's too tall so I decided to try to sit on the railings we're both leaning on. He turned to me with a confused look.

"Lift me up, weakling. I wanna sit here." I patted the railings.

His brows furrowed then his eyes shifted to my skirt. I couldn't care less as I try to jump. He sighed and removed both the bags on his back and front. He put the bags on the ground beside his feet. I turned to him when he started unbuttoning his white polo uniform.

"I just told you to lift me up, why are you undressing?" I raised my brow.

He shook his head and when only his white t-shirt was left, he put the polo on my thighs.

"Hold this." He was referring to his polo wrapped around my thighs.

I followed what he did. I held the polo with my one hand while the other's holding the ice cream. He lifted me up and put me down on the railings like what I ordered. I held his shoulder, afraid I might lose balance but he leaned on the railings beside me and held the railings behind me with his left arm for my back support.

Now I'm leaning my back against his arms as my support behind me. His hands looks like wrapped around my waist, only that he's holding the railings beside me.

"I love sunset. Not because of its beauty but because it's a sign for the moon to rise and the dark to rule." I uttered as I stare at the sunset.

"It means . . . today will soon end." He said.

Now that I'm sitting on the railings, we're almost the same in height. I leaned my head on his shoulder as I eat my ice cream.

Together, we watch the beautiful sunset. Everything's in peace, bird's humming over the changing hues of sky, wind's whistling under the misty clouds of serenity, sun's rays dominating across the tranquility.

I wish the sight of today will be the same sight I can see for tomorrow . . . simple yet beautiful.

But then life doesn't always wants to go in a way we all want to— full of unexpectedness are bound to happen. Except for the difficulties will never be eradicated and ugliness are impossible to be annihilated.

That's how I at least describe the cycle of my life.

"We're moving to Canada in a month from now. You can drop out all your subjects or you already did."

And in an expected thought Aiden will leave me . . . it turns out, I'll be the one who's about to leave him.
