Hiya friends.

Siege has been on hiatus so long I don't even remember the basic plot.

So, in response, I'm going to temporarily unpublish this... strange... work, edit it, rewrite some things, and repost it.

Changes that will likely occur (that I currently know of):

- Basic grammatical errors will be fixed and paragraphs will be edited to make more sense.

- Some chapters, at the least, will be rewritten/updated. (1/31/18 edit: all chapters will be rewritten. cringe 2k17/16, removed!)

- The Asuméns will take on a much more Aztec feel. Think of a mix between an elf's demeanor and an orc's portrayal.

- The Nguŷens will receive the justice they deserve, as well as a possible name change.

- The cover will be different.

- And, finally, the biggest change... There is a chance that once uploaded, Siege will no longer be a fanfic.

That's right, I will probably change Siege into a completely original story. It was always intended to be original, and was actually changed to fit fan fiction standards. For example, Mitch's character was changed from a 'womanizer' (his original character was a young woman named Raven) to the quiet, sulky angst ball you know and love.

The reason being is mainly because I feel as if Siege has more right to be an original than a fic. This is, of course, not necessarily even due to the fact that I want to write original things - it's because the characters just don't fit the YouTubers they're meant to.

(Plus, there seems to have been some scandal over the fact that the killer was known as SKY. I promise you, the killer is/was not Adam. No, that would be too obvious.)

Anyways, it's entirely up to you whether or not you want to stick with this or not. I will have no heartburn either way. Of course, I want you to stay with me, but I get it if it's not your thing.

this was written, like, months ago and i haven't edited it much since. this is totally liable to change, i don't really know. we'll see how it goes.

basically, i'm turning this into an original story because i have this entire original world in my head and i did not spend this much damn time on races for it to not be a thing anymore.
