It's been a month to their marriage , their love and understanding grew . Their was some guests in the house , she made snacks served them and was preparing dinner . Everyone praised her cooking and beauty , she heard elders saying the new bride should always be ready and wear new clothes and jewellery , her mother-in-law also nodded and was happy that everyone praised her daughter-in-law .

She internally thanked her husband for choosing her outfit for the day and advice as elders were impressed by her . Otherwise she would have been a joke infront of them .

" Abey ye kya pehen rahi hai " ( hey what are you wearing ? ) He asked seeing her wearing daily outfit .

" Kyun kya hua ? " ( Why ? what's wrong ) She asked looking at her outfit .

" Aj ghar pe guests aarahe hai " ( some guests are coming ) he informed thinking she didn't knew .

" Haa mujhe pata hai bahut Kam hai " ( yes I know , their is lots of work ) she said .

Sidharth took other outfit and handing it to her while saying " ye change karlo , jo log aarahe hai na vo tumhe dekhne aarahe , judge karne tumare har ek movement ko " ( change it , the guests who are coming here to see you , to judge your actions ) .

" Tik hai " ( okay ) she said moving to washroom to change .

She came out after changing , he kissed her forehead saying Mashallah . " Meri begum ko kisi ki buri nazar na lage " ( Keep my wife away from evil eyes ) he said kissing her lips . She didn't understand his obsession of kissing her between the space of her nose and upper lip .

" Daro nahi , main yahin hu tik hai " ( Don't fear , I'm always with you . Okay ) he said holding her hand . She nodded her head but the fear started .

Shehnaaz who was serving evening tea stopped and blinked her eyes not to cry but tears rolled down silently as her sister-in-law Farah taunted her infront of everyone saying " Is she adopted ? Why don't her parents visit her nor take her home ? It's been 3 months " .

Farah was upset with her parents who praised Shehnaaz and were taunting her for not helping in household chores as she gives excuses of her college work and assignments , she is more interested in studies rather doing house chores . Parents should never compare their children's with others , every individual have different interests and sometimes the life make situations were you learn to compromise and adjust .

" Farah " she heard the warning tone of her parents . Everyone knows Shehnaaz family was a bit different , her family call to her in-laws and talk with all respect but they only give her warning and advices how to be a perfect wife and daughter-in-law .

" Tameez se baat karo apne bhabhi se " ( Behave and talk politely with your sister-in-law ) Sidharth said raising his tone and glaring at Farah .

" Hum baat kar rahe hai na , tumhe bichme bolne ki koi jarurat nahi hai samje . Itne bhi bade nahi hogaye ho tum ab , ghar ke bade aj bhi hum hai aur hum samja denge . Bhulo mat choti behen hai vo tumare " Fatima said gruffly , sidharth left to their room without saying any other word .

( We are talking , you don't need to interfere understand . You are not that elder , we are elders in the house and we will make her understand . Don't forget she is your younger sister )

" Shehnaaz jao , use chai dedo " ( Go and give him tea ) Shehnaaz heard her mother-in-law voice and left to their room .

" Chai " ( tea ) Shehnaaz said moving infront of him .

" Ji .. ye chai tande hojayegi " ( listen tea is getting cold ) she said when he kept the tea on the table and pulled her beside him .

" Shehnaaz I'm sorry . I'm sure Farah ka vo matlab nahi tha vo tumhe hurt nahi karna chahte thi lakin " he said .

( I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt you but I'm sorry from her side )

" Mujhe farak nahi padta lakin bura jarur lagta hai " she said .

( It makes no difference to me , I'm not hurt but I feel sad )

" Main hu na , tumhe kisi aur ki jarurat nahi hai " he said wipping her tears and kissing her forehead .

( I'm always be their for you , you don't need anyone )

" Sidharth jana jaruri hai kya ? " She asked , the four months passed in a blur .

( Is it important to go )

" Shehnaaz I have work their , I need to go right ?  " he said arranging his files .

" Phir kab ayenge vapis " she asked .

( Then when will you come back )

" Abhi sirf new visa ke liye apply kar raha hu , purana expire hojayega 1 mahine me . Phir jab company se letter ayega na tab jaunga bahut time hai abhi tho "  He explained her keeping the files inside the drawer . From the time she got to know that he is applying for visa her mood had turned down .

( I'm just applying for visa now as old one expires soon . If I get letter from the company then I will leave , their is lots of time now )

" Apka Kam phir " she asked , she is worried about his work as well as not ready to leave him , how will she stay without him in this house .

( What about your work )

" You don't stress , I will work from home till then " he said cupping her face .

" Aur vaise bhi tumne mere adadte bigade hai , tum se dur rahna bahut mushkil hoga " he confessed resting his forehead on her , the smile which was left from her face came back instantly . 

( And you spoiled me so much that now I can't think of staying away from you , it's going to be tough challenge )

She leaned up and kissed him . He wrapped his arms around her lifting her from the ground kissing her back passionately , soon the door closed clothes were laying on the floor their bodies moulded effortless against eachother with soft moans and groans filling the room .

" Sidharth " Shehnaaz was trying to wake her sleeping husband . He groaned in his sleep and turned otherside snuggling into the pillow .

" Please ut jao na , bhuk lagi hai mujhe " she said shaking his shoulder . It's their habit to eat meals together but as soon as he started to work their schedule changed .

( Please wake up I'm hungry )

He was working from home and the time difference disturbed their routine , he would be awake whole night and sleep whole day . she would wait for him to wake up then freshen up so they can eat their dinner together .

" Shehnaaz "  he warned her with stren voice not to disturb his sleep . She was upset , didn't want to eat but the hunger made her eat alone looking at his sleeping figure and wipping her tears .

After an hour sidharth was wide awake , he freshen up and sat on the bed looking at his wife who was sleeping . He shook her saying " Shehnaaz khana khaa ke sojana , jalde uto " .

" Maine kha liya hai aur mujhe sone do ab " Shehnaaz said angrily , he was shocked .

( I already ate don't disturb me I'm sleeping )

" Arey ise kaise kha liya , mere bina " he asked .

( How did you ate alone , without me )

" Kaise kha liya ka kya matlab ? Bhuk lagi kha liya . Aapko tho koi fikar hai nahi meri tho main kya karu ? " she snapped at him .

( What do you mean by how did I eat ? I was hungry I ate . You don't care about me so what should I do )

He didn't said anything further , their was complete silence in the room . Then he heard her sniffing , " acha tik hai na kha liya , roo tho nahi " he said caressing her head .

( It's okay if you ate , I was just asking.  Don't cry please )

" Maine bulaya apko lakin apne mujhe danta zor se " she cried complaining him as he never snapped at her . She is not used to his snapping tone and she is too emotional today . He was always been very patient with her .

( I called you but you yelled at me )

" Acha I'm sorry mujhe tho yaad bhi nahi hai " he said kissing her red cheeks .

( I'm sorry I don't even remember it )

" Meri tabiyat nahi tik " she whispered slowly .

( I'm not feeling well )

" Kya hua " he asked concernedly .

( Why what happened )

" Chakar aarahe hai aur ulti bhi hue hai " she said resting her head on his chest . 

( My head is spinning and I have vomited )

" Mai medicine lata hu ya phir doctor ke pass jana hai tumhe " he asked .

( I will bring medicine or do you want to visit hospital )

" Vo pregnancy test lade " she said , he nodded then his head at her direction in a speed saying " kya ? " .

( Bring pregnancy test )

( What ? )

A huge smile came on his face , " sachme ? " He asked looking at her .

( Really ? )

" Shayad , pata nahi mujhe " she replied shyly .

( May be I don't know )

" Mai abhi lata hu , mujhse wait nahi hoga kal tak " he said getting up from the bed kissing her head .

( I will just bring it now , I can't wait )

" Extra lana " he heard while he picked his bike keys .

( Bring some extra )

" Ye lo " ( take this ) saying he gave her packet , she took the choclate with bright smile . He always brings chocolate for her , she love chocolates .

He read the steps and explained to her the process to the test . She came out of the bathroom after doing her test . Sidharth looked at the result it was negative , he checked other one it was also negative .

She asked him nervously " kya hua " , he just shook his head .

Both were disappointmented because the possibilities she imagined if she was pregnant , her dream of their complete family , their baby , her pregnant belly and a future of them in seconds and everything turned into a dream again .

" Shehnaaz it's okay " he said patting her cheeks . He loved kids as she does , " Allah will bless us soon " he said taking her in his arms . They were waiting for the blessing , they never used any protection other then the first time .

Next day , sidharth took her to hospital in the evening as she fall sick again . She is stressed he thought , as the doctor examined her and asked some questions .
" When was your last period ? "
" Are you elegric to anything ? "
" Are you guys physically active ? "
" What more symptoms are changes you noticed ? "

Shehnaaz answered them , Sidharth informed about the pregnancy test and the results . Doctor nodded and said " Shehnaaz I suggest you to wait for 4 days and then do the test again in early morning " .

Shehnaaz looked at doctor then at her husband . " I doubt she is pregnant , may be just a week or 10 days but her date is in two days so lets wait and confirm " the doctor said .

" Sure doctor " sidharth said , he saw his wife caressing her stomach . He held her hand and moved out after taking the reports and prescribed medicines for her sickness .

" Sidharth " she called him happily .

" Shehnaaz please don't , if you are not pregnant then you will be hurt so be prepared for postive or negative result " he said because the last night disappointment of her , her sobs he didn't forget . Shehnaaz nodded her head .

It's been a week , he brought the tests but she didn't dared to do it . She was on edge she wanted to do the test and know what's wrong with her but she is not ready for another disappointment . Sidharth was impatient but he didn't force her , he let her take time to be prepared for the result .

Sidharth who just slept after finishing his work . Shehnaaz was twisting and turning on the bed . It was early in the morning 4 AM , she was nervous and impatient . She had done the test but didn't dare to see the result . Finally after 10 minutes she moved to the washroom praying God to give her strength to face the result .

She sobbed looking at the test , she took 3 tests and every test shown the same result . she ran out of the washroom to her husband , she woke him up by wet tears and hugging him tightly .

" Shehnaaz kya hua " ( Shehnaaz what happened ) he asked panicked at her sudden force on him , still wrapped his hands around her .

" You are going to be a father , Sidharth " she said he was shocked . " Sach me ? " ( Really ) He asked she nodded her head with full smile .

" when did you test " he asked .

" Ade gante pehele " ( half an hour before ) she said , he got up and both moved inside the washroom to check the result again and confirm their dream was actually turning into reality . He kissed her head " Mubarak mumma to be " .

( Congratulations mumma to be )

They prayed for the new blessing and thanked almighty .
