Prompt(That hapyhappiness came up with): Josh is getting married to Freya. Simon is madly in love with Josh, but keeps his mouth shut because he knows Freya is a nice and good girl and that would hurt both Josh and Freya.

Simon's POV(switched it up a little bit)

A wedding is supposed to be a happy day- but how could I be happy when the person I'm in love with is getting married?

I don't know, to be honest.

Although Josh and Freya were bound to happen, everyone knew that. That's why when they announced it, soon after their 10 year anniversary of dating, everyone yelled out "finally!" Like I said, bound to happen.

Even I knew it was destined to happen, as I was even picked for best man, with Tobi of course. With us two as best men, the other 4 were groomsmen. 

"You gonna tell him?" I heard behind my ear as I jumped forward, dropping the white flower I was holding on the floor.

"Don't do that, Jide." I said quickly as I picked up the flower, putting it neatly in my pocket and standing in the mirror to make it look good.

"Well sorry, but I needed to ask." JJ insisted and I sighed. I turned to him.

"I-I can't, JJ. Freya is such a nice girl, and she's good for Josh. And for second, I don't think Josh likes me like that-or if he ever will." I scoffed.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." JJ sung, smirking as I looked at him in confusion.

"What'd you mean?" I asked. Did he ever like me?

"I-It was before they even got together." JJ started and I gave him my full attention. "Tobi told me that he had a thing for you, but then he started dating Freya. He also didn't know then if you were gay or not, so he let it go. He still liked you even then, but Tobi didn't want to ask him about it because they were in a relationship." JJ explained and I looked down, scratching my neck as I turned around.

"O-Oh." Is all I said as the doors opened.

"You guys alright?" Tobi entered and stood beside JJ.

"Yeah we're fine." JJ and I both said as I could feel my face turn red.

"Simon? You alright? You're face is a little-"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied and we see Josh poke his head in, smiling at me.

"20 minutes, you boys good?" Josh asked and we nodded and followed him out the door.

"How are you feeling, Josh?" Tobi asked and Josh looked at me.

"Good, actually. Little nervous." Josh replied and we were met with the rest of the guys. Josh then looked at me again, tapping me on the shoulder to get my attention. "Can I speak to you outside?" Josh asked and I nodded, following him a minute after he left.

I go outside and and see him leaning against the brick wall of the church.

"What's up?" I ask and he's looking more nervous.

"Well I-um. I-"

"Let it out, Josh. What's going on?" I ask again. He takes a deep breath.

"I need you to speak up." Josh says and I look at him confused.

"What?"

"I need you to speak up when the officiator asks if anyone objects." Josh says clearer and I look at him confused.

"I-uh." I didn't know what to say. "What do you mean?" I ask and Josh looks down.

"I can't marry Freya, I just can't." Josh says, giving me the bare minimum.

"Why, Josh?" I ask, trying to understand.

"B-Because Simon." Josh looks me in the eye and then puts a hand on my cheek. "Because I'm in love with you. And I know you are with me." Josh finishes as I rest a hand on his.

"But Josh I- What about Freya?" I say and he takes a hand off my cheek and moves it so he's holding my hands.

"Well, we can tell her. After." Josh says and I nod, feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket. I look and see JJ had texted me that it was go time.

"It's time." I tell Josh and he nods. But just as we're about to pull away, he pulls my arm and turns me around, kissing me gently.

We pull away and then rush back in, one after the other.

"Go, Josh!" Tobi says as he pushes Tobi out the doors. I see JJ looking at me out of the corner of my eyes, but I don't look back.

Tobi and I the go, and then the others after us.

We all then watch as the bridesmaids go, all looking beautiful in blue dresses.

And then came Freya.

The second I saw her, I felt guilty. Guilty in thinking her day will be ruined-all because of me.

When I thought this, though, I felt Josh looking at me and smiling, nodding.

The officiant talked a lot. But I knew he was going to say it. Josh knew.

I was sweating the more and more I thought about it. How I was going to confess my love for Josh. And I-

"Before we continue, does anyone object to this couple and their marriage?"

I paused. My heart rate going up more and more.

I had to speak up. 

"I-"

"I do." Before I could get those words out, Talia steps forward and everyone gasps.

 Although I knew the guys had heard me, even Josh did, and only they were looking at me in confusion.

"I'm in love with Freya." Talia spoke up and there were whispers. Then she turned to Freya. "I can't live all my life as a lie. I can't see you and Josh together without being jealous. I just-" She sighs and steps forward more. "I can't live without you."

But before they can speak up, Josh steps forward and looks at me, I nod.

He then takes my hand, pulling me forward and kissing me. Again, everyone gasps, but I can't hear them.

"And I can't live without him." Josh says so everyone could hear. He then turns to Freya, who was looking at him. "I'm sorry, Freya. I can't do this." Josh says and she nods.

Josh then turns to me and smiles.

"Wanna get out of here?" Josh asks and I smirk.

"More than anything." I reply and he takes my hand, walking down the aisle.

Leaving everyone behind, together.
