Katie: (Ah yes I'm finally touching on a different character of mine! A much more... Unappreciated character. Wolf. She doesn't get much attention as the rest of The Group so I'm going to address in this one shot! So I'm gonna do a little thing called a songfic! If you don't know what a songfic is basically you find a song and base a fanfic on it... That's literary it... It couldn't be more simple! So the song is I'll Stand by You by Pretenders. So here we go!)

Out in the middle of a forest, called Elisium, was a girl who was relaxing by the trees. And when I say "relaxing" I mean thinking depressing thoughts.

Have you ever felt... Unwanted before? Doesn't it sting?

Have you ever felt unneeded before? Doesn't it hurt?

Have you ever felt like your whole life is against you before? Doesn't it make you want to... Die?

If you have... Then you are like me... What happened to make me feel like this you ask? Well, I'll tell you!

It's all Tiger's fault!

Have any of you noticed that she hasn't been spending time with me anymore? Me, Tiger, and Enderbrine were an unstoppable team! But... Things changed...

You maybe saying right now, "oh! Maybe she's just busy!" well, I'll tell you one thing! Tiger is not busy doing anything!

You maybe saying right now, "why do you care so much about this?" well, I will tell you why! She was my first friend! The one who showed me hope! The one who was my light in my darkness! The one who stopped me from doing something... Drastic...

I sighed and said to myself, "I was once a murderer... Now I'm a hero... I was once lost... Now I'm found... And Tiger was the one who did that for me... Tiger was the one who helped me, who healed me... Now she's the one who killed me..." I felt like crying when I heard the sound of grass under a person foot. I turned my head towards the noise and saw the one person I didn't want to see.

"Hey, Wolf!" Tiger called out and walked towards me. I got up and turned away from her.

"Go... Away..." I snarled at her. She stopped walking, surprised she said, "W-w-what?"

I said nothing.

"Did I do something wrong, Wolf?" Tiger asked worried.

At this I did respond, "yes, Tiger, you did do something wrong.."

"What did I do?"

I said nothing for about a minute.

"You... You betrayed me!" I cried out with tears in my eyes. Tiger recoiled back in fear at my words. I saw tears forming in her eyes.

-Tiger's side-

"W-Wolf...?" I said choking on a sob. "W-what do-?"

"What do I mean?" Wolf said finishing my sentence. "I'll tell you what I mean! You! You were my only friend! The one who told me that life doesn't have to be about darkness and death! But love and light! And now the only person who showed me kindness and told me the world has not yet ended, never sees me. Never makes sure I'm okay! You left me to rot and die in my sorrows, after telling me to not cry!" Wolf yelled in hatred.

I couldn't respond with the tears flowing from my, different colored, blue eyes. A song played in my head so well that it was all I could hear. It was the song I only sung when someone needed to hear it... And now's the time.

-Wolf's side-

"Oh, why'd you look so sad? Tears are in your eyes. Come on and come to me now..."

Was Tiger... Singing? That's a first. I have never heard her sing.

"Don't be ashamed to cry. Let me see you through, 'cause I've seen the dark side too..."

Wait... So is she telling me to cry? Or maybe to open up my feelings and let people in?

"When the night falls on you, you don't know what to do."

It's true... I don't know what I should do...

"Nothing you confess could make me love you less. I'll stand by you..."

Hold up! "Love"? Maybe she does care...?

"I'll stand by you. Won't let nobody hurt you. I'll stand by you..."

But she has hurt me!

"So, if you're mad, get mad. Don't hold it all inside. Come on and talk to me now..."

I punch Tiger in the arm hard. Tiger didn't mind and was fine with it. I let out my anger... Well, some of it at least...

"And hey, what you get to hide? I get angry too, well I'm a lot like you..."

....I have never seen Tiger yell at anyone before... She is the calm when we are all the storm.... And she is not like me at all! We are much different from each other... Are we not we?

"When you're standing at a crossroads and don't know which path to choose. Let me come along 'cause even if you're wrong. I'll stand by you..."

.......I don't know what path I should choose in life.... But... Even if I chose wrong.... She will be there for... Me?

"I'll stand by you. Won't let nobody hurt you. I'll stand by you..."

There it is with that line again...

"Take me in, into your darkest hour and I'll never desert you. I'll stand by you..."

But you have deserted me already! Or... Did you?

"And when the night falls on you, Sister, you're feeling alone. You'll won't be on your own, I'll stand by you..."

"Sister"? She... Cares? Doesn't She...?

"I'll stand by you. Won't let nobody hurt you. I'll stand by you..."

That line... Makes me smile... Even though I can only manage a small, faint smile, to me, it was a grin of pure joy.

"Take me in, into your darkest hour and I'll never desert you. I'll stand by you..."

.........

"I'll stand by you. Won't let nobody hurt you. (I'll stand by you) Yeah!"

My smile grew slightly.

Won't let nobody hurt you...

As Tiger was about to say the last line she walked up to me and hugged me tightly.

I'll stand by you...

I believe her...
