WATTPAD ACTUALLY DIDN'T PIXELLATE THE DETAILS TOO BADLY 🥳🥳🥳

Legit when I was putting in the design, I was PRAYING that the details wouldn't get too blurred out, because I'm so freaking proud of this vector cover (especially the vector part of it) and Wattpad is NOTORIOUS for blurring out all the details on my vectors, and since I spent like two hours detailing the shadows and fabric on the clothes alone, I was like "please don't blur then please don't blur them please don't blur them"

AND WATTPAD LEFT MOST OF THE DETAILS INTACT HALLELUJAH I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY OMG

here's a closeup of the vectors so y'alls can see the details aaaaaa i'm legit so proud of these? like??? the clothes look so so good? and my attempt at curly hair actually turned out kinda successful for once??? i'm so happy with these omg 😭 all the pain it took me to make them was so worth it

OKAY sooo i did make one or two changes to your request, picklejuice. (i hope you don't mind aaaaa i'm sorryyy) like, we don't get a side hug, because i took the base image from the Chinese drama 'Put Your Head On My Shoulder', and apparently none of the HD images for those involve an arm hug, and i was too lazy to try drawing a side hug by myself, so instead we have the girl resting her head on the guy's shoulder and the guy folding his arms like the boss ass b!tch he is. we stan.

and while i did manage to get in the stars, i couldn't do any flowers. i tried, but they looked really ugly and made the cover look super cluttered, so i went with stars only. i hope that's okay!

fun fact: this is the first decent vector cover i have ever made using a guy and a girl instead of two girls or two guys. (i did make another one before for a contest, but that was my first vector cover ever and it was really crap so we don't talk about that one lol) you see, i'm hella gay. therefore, my covers are also hella gay. which is why although i make quite a lot of vector covers (since vectors are my biggest design strength), this is my first decent-looking straight one. congrats?

this is actually pretty similar to my base sketch, surprisingly. like, the positioning is all different and the base sketch had the flowers that i scrapped, but it's still pretty similar. since you requested a specific colour scheme, i made a colour palette to see which colours would match with that colour scheme, so that was a first :D

you said you wanted something similar to my Aeipathy cover, so i did kinda use that as reference (though it's really different lool sorry) however, Aeipathy's calm vibe didn't really work with the night colour scheme (as opposed to Aeipathy's pastel scheme) so i went for a more fun, playful vibe, using a new font and a bit of careful angling.

overall, i'm super super happy with the way this cover turned out, and i really hope you're happy with it too! if you'd like any changes, please let me know and i'll see what i can do! if it's fine as it is, again, let me know and i'll pm a link for HD download to you :)

on a side note, did anyone hear about Giselle's (aespa) scandal? gurl really dropped the ball on this one 😔 like maam are you actively trying to get cancelled i---mouthing the n-word RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA??? subtlety is not her middle name 😭 i'm sad cause she's my aespa bias and like i'm not black so i have No Right to speak on this but yeah i'm just disappointed but not surprised because it was only a matter of time before another idol had an n-word scandal (i think the most recent one was Heesung from Enhypen's one? not sure tho) just kinda sad it's Giselle cause she's fluent in English and like, well educated and schist so we can't pull the uneducated card for this one

like as a Chinese (in ethnicity, not in nationality because i've never even been to China in my life) person who had two picks in C-group (Xiao Ting and Rui Qi, my third pick was Huening Bahiyyih from K-group. glad she got in although IN ALL HONESTY i don't think she deserved 2nd place. this is controversial and i love Bahiyyih but gurl has zero stage presence 😭 she's kind and sweet and beautiful and has very stable vocals and good dancing skills but she has no charisma at all 😔) I'M PISSED OFF CAUSE LIKE??? 6 KOREANS, 2 JAPANESE, 1 CHINESE AND YOU DARE TO CALL THIS A GLOBAL GROUP?
