WE DON'T TALK ABOUT SUNYOUL FROM UP10TION'S VOCALS ENOUGH AND IT SHOWS like literally he has the BEST vocals i've ever heard from a boy group and yet he (and Up10tion in general) are so unappreciated and like---literally i don't even stan Up10tion (just a casual listener) but Sunyoul could 100% outsing all our faves

The Soulmate Paradox ended in August 2020 but like---i still can't let go of my boys T_T

TSP was the book that propelled me to Wattpad book 'fame', if you can call it that. It got featured on the official Wattpad profile like three times and became a Wattys shortlister in November.

It's also the book with TWO ABSOLUTE TRAINWRECKS FOR MAIN CHARACTERS. like i have never written such dumbasses for mains and i---literally these guys lived in my head for only six months and i already lost like half my hair from their COMPLETE DUMBASSERY (okay, fine, it was mainly from Covid, but STILL) like i love Jeong-Soon but My Gosh Is He Dumb. and then there's Gregory. we don't talk about Gregory.

anygays so for like my first actual serious digital art piece cause i usually don't do digital art, i decided to do character art for the two of them. Jeong-Soon's one was posted on my Instagram as a New Year's Day present, and Gregory's was posted later cause he's not as important‐--

so like i decided to go with a fact file style layout inspired by the webcomic 'Boyfriends', except with my own style of drawing cause 'Boyfriends' has like zero thick linework and i get a heart attack every time i don't do proper linework (fun fact: i pulled out of a contest once even though i had the entry like 80% finished BECAUSE I FORGOT TO DO LINEWORK so yes linework is very important to me)

i included the basics such as name, age, personality, type, dick size---

(i'm joking. it's their height. i'm a sucker for huge height gaps T_T maybe cause my bf is like over 6 feet while i'm barely 5'4 lmaooo i'm still growing tho) also Gregory doesn't really fit much of the ISTP qualities (like ISTPs are apparently very positive and this guy is literally negativity personified) but he took a bunch of personality tests and all came out ISTP so like---Jeong-Soon is an ENFP tho which is the same personality type as me so i guess that makes sense lmao

some of my favourite lines are 'phd in dumbassery', 'gregory sexual tbh' and 'touch jeong-soon and you die' LMAO

so i tend to not have faceclaims for my characters because i trust my description skills enough to carry their appearances across. as a result, i'm actually not fully sure what they look like lmao since i don't have any visual references and only fuzzy textual clues from the bowels of my brain. yes, i know i was the one who wrote them. but like, i have a rough idea of their features and everything in my head but not THEM, if you get what i mean. they're mainly just disembodied voices floating around in my mind and causing chaos tbh

i ended up making a list of their physical features to use for their characters, plus their representative colours (since a lot of the book revolves around Jeong-Soon's colour: blue, and Gregory's colour: red). so it was something like

Jeong-Soon: short brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, big smile with slightly crooked teeth, blue t-shirt, kinda slim?
Gregory: messy dark hair to the nape of his neck, really dark eyes, tanned skin, red jacket, skinny, a n g r y

and then i just drew based on that lmao---i finally got an eye style that seems to work for me cause like, i ALWAYS have trouble drawing eyes (it's so bad that it actually deters me from digital drawing sometimes) but i found a style that's a) cute, b) suits my drawing style, and c) actually kinda easy to draw

i wanted a kinda cartoonish, pop art, anime-inspired-but-not-anime kinda style, cause i suck balls at realism. so i went for thick linework and really poppy colours, as well as unblurred shading for that more 'cartoonish' effect. i also experimented with little highlights on their hair, and i think it turned out super cute!

overall, i'm actually really happy with these, especially since this is like, what? my third time doing actual proper digital drawing? or something like that. and the fact files, if i do say so myself, are TOP NOTCH. i'm so funny omg

anygays i'm going back to school tomorrow so i won't be able to post so much T_T
