*sobs in actually loved these designs*

okay, in all honesty, these are designs that i really really loved when i first created them but are now kinda meh about. like, i remember being SO SO PROUD of Radio Silence when i first made it, because it was so different from what i usually do. (like, it was messy, it was monochromatic, it was gorgeous. and then i improved even more and couldn't remember why i loved it so much.)

i feel like when it comes to my Horror covers, they're never a Hit or Miss like my 'aesthetic' covers. they're more meh if anything? like, they're not really super impressive, but they're not bad either. (after all, the only bright cover here is Stigma. ironic, since Stigma is such a beautifully dark song.)

Stigma was made back when i wasn't very good at vectors yet, as you can tell by the 'shading' on Tae's clothes. i love the colour scheme, but i'm not a big fan of the vector itself. mainly because i actually know how to shade properly on vectors now.

Seven of Hearts was a cover i was super iffy about at first, but when i looked at it for a bit longer, i remember being pretty happy with it. i was trying out a new blood effect (by blurring and spreading and airbrushing the blood instead of leaving it solid) and i honestly still use that effect a lot even now.

i loved Diminuendo. at first. like, it was supposed to be a cover for my potential third ONC entry (which i thankfully did not end up writing, because a third entry would have been suicide) and using pop princess Kim Petras as a faceclaim (this was pretty rare since i don't really work with Western faceclaims anymore, but one of my fav Western faceclaims will always be Kim Petras because COME ON SHE'S SO PRETTY AND SO CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED UGH AND STAN HER IMMEDIATELY PLS) like, it was super cool to me, and i liked everything except the hair.

Radio Silence. ah, Radio Silence. i have a love-hate relationship with this cover. i got super creative with this one (it was supposed to be a Felix x Female OC horror fanfic) and really carried out the glitchy radio theme. although i love monochromatic covers, i feel like this one diiid go slightly overboard with the purple. also, it's very messy (but tbh, i love messy covers, sooo) i'm not a huge fan of the font choice and placement now, looking back on it, but it was really something revolutionary for my design journey back then.

also, i guess i went through my 'covered eyes' phase back then lol. (like how i'm going through my swaphics phase rn) but ehhh, those were like half a year ago.

also irrelevant but apparently a side effect of Covid is that you start to lose your hair three months later 😭 it's been three months since i got Covid so guess whose hair has been falling out in clumps 😭😭😭 i'm really upset about it because my hair is literally the only good-looking part of me and now i'm losing it too (i keep it long for a more androgynous look) aaaaa and the doctor says it'll only recover in another three months aND THAT I COULD LOSE 50% OF MY HAIR which makes me extremely upset because i've always had this super perfect thick fabulous hair and like if i lose my hair i won't go out in public ever again because i'll be literally so embarrassed
