Bloom is THE bottom anthem of the century, and as a young bi switch, I'm honestly so disappointed in myself for not making a Bloom theme earlier, especially since it's by the LOML, Troye. I'm a disgrace to the gays *dramatically dies*

Sooo because my last review shop was disorganised af, I'm closing that one and opening a new one after I finish all my pending reviews. (Hint: if you want your book BRUTALLY shredded by a probably underqualified reviewer, head on over once it comes out ;P) New beginnings, new system, new theme.

I personally really love the cover. I did something similar to my 6i-dle theme with Troye's face, except with a lot more dimension and flowers popping out. I also made it kinda look like he's holding flowers too. This was cause A) the song is LITERALLY called Bloom, and B) I found this PERFECT picture of Troye with a flower in his hair and I was like "GIMMEEE" so yes. Bloom soft light flower theme. While I do feel the typography could have been better, I think it looks nice overall. (The amount of flower PNG resources I had to find T_T)

I'm literally in love with the banners, too! My favourites are Blueprint and Dalla Dalla (though Gogobebe and Black Mamba are *chef's kiss* too) They'll be heading banners for my Introduction + Forms chapter. I considered making banners for the reviewing rubric too, but I decided that was overkill and wayyy too much effort to slot into every chapter. So we'll just have my 'bloom' and 'thank you' banners in each chapter, similar to Positions (my previous review shop).

I used some of my favourite pop and kpop artists as face claims (though I couldn't fit everyone in T_T) I didn't really wanna use Aespa (since I'm only a casual listener, and also because Giselle is my bias but I was afraid I would get flack for using her because of the n-word thingy 😭) but I had a Giselle PNG all cropped out and ready to go, sooo #laziness

So yeaaa these are pretty much my biases in all the respective groups (fun fact: when I first got into Itzy, Yuna was my least favourite member. I found her voice and general personality kinda annoying 🤡 fast foward like a year later and now she's my bias lmao 🤷‍♂️ sorry Ryujin 😭)

I wanted to put Twice and Lucy in, but I was too lazy to find pictures of Twice (again, I already had a Giselle PNG ready so I just used that, sorry Chaeyoung T_T), and it's pretty hard to find HD pictures of Lucy that fit my theme because they're like, A) a k-band, and B) underrated af. Stan quality, stan Lucy. (Fun fact: I thought Yechan was Sangyeop for the longest time 🤡 I'm a disappointment of a Walwal lmao)

This is a relatively simple theme for my standards (like??? it doesn't involve ANY brushes??? me??? not using brushes??? UNTHINKABLE) but honestly it took so much effort and I'm so proud aaaaa. I used like three different textures for the bg but I can only find one oop---The filter really pulled everything together and overall, I'm really happy with this! It turned out nearly exactly how I wanted it haha.

This is probably gonna be the last thing I design for a while, because I have my Grade 8 piano exam coming up in like a week and my hands. are. dying. Like I'll probably have to stay away from writing and designing because I'm practising piano a lot, so my RSI is really killing me. My wrists are absolutely fricked and so are my joints and fingers. I fully expect them to fall apart after the exam. (Honestly, my hands might be crippled for a while after the exam lmao) But it doesn't matter rn cause this is Grade 8 and I gotta keep up my streak of getting top in my country lmao 💀 (got top in my country twice, bow before my talent)

Like two months before the exam, I was like "If my hands don't start bleeding I haven't practised enough" and I was like joking and all that schist at that time, right? Fast forward a couple months and my hands are swelling like hell, and the skin on my thumb peeled off a couple days ago. They're bleeding like crap here and there and sometimes when I'm doing homework, there's like blood randomly on my papers cause my wounds open up lool 💀 (Apparently, I was joking, but my hands WERE NOT.) But I don't mind, cause I must be like Ling Ling and practice 40 hours a day ✌
