This is my contest entry! I am doing a quote, so here it is:

"Dew falls from the flowers, just like blood falls from my mouth. He is handsome, everything you want him to be, but he wears a mask. As I fall onto the frigid tile I wonder how society accepts this monster. They say 'all is fair in love and war', so why am I trapped in a twisted love?"

This is a work of fiction, none of what I just wrote is real.

But what the words portray are. Some people are trapped in violent love, and that is not okay! If you are/know someone in a violent/abusive relationship, let the police know.
