"I swear if you give Braden anymore sugar I will hurt you Noah!", I yell as I run down the stairs chasing after my laughing brother and best friend. I run faster through the house trying to catch up with them but it doesn't really help as I get tired and give up. So I flop on the couch trying to catch my breath.

I lay for a bit catching my breath but it doesn't last for long cause I get the breath knocked out of me when my best friend jumps on me tickling me. "Noah!" I scream out grasping for breath moving around trying to get out of his hold.

After a couple more screams he finally stops laughing. "Yes princess?" Noah asks me innocently smiling.

I roll my eyes and glare at him. "You know exactly what Noah. Where is my brother at?" I ask him accusingly, "Does he have ALL the candy?!"

Noah smiles sheepishly and mumbles "Yes.." and then he shoves his head into my neck so he doesn't have to face my wrath. I sigh softly and push Noah off of my gently and get up to find my turd of a brother.

I find him hidden in the closest by the kitchen eating his candy happily. I take the candy away from Braden while scolding him, "Braden I told you not to eat anymore sugar why won't you listen to me."

He pouts and get up from the closest floor "But Noah said I could have it."

I turned to the boy that was now laying on the floor and I glare at him and say in a deadly tone. "Noah Cameron Daniels."

Noah gets up from the floor and looks around suddenly scared "Oh um.. Do you hear that I think I hear my mom calling I got to go." Noah runs out the door with me on his tail. Yelling at him, "NOAH I TOLD YOU NOT TO GIVE HIM CANDY!!" I chase him around the neighborhood and into his house. He runs and hides behind his mom yelling "Mom she's going to kill me!" His mom just look at him and says in a monotone voice, "And that is my problem how?" Then she moves out of the way and I jump on his back making him fall.

Noah whimpers giving in, "Princess I'm sorry I won't do it again. Please don't hurt me." I giggle and poking him repetitively "Don't do it again."

He groans and pushes me off getting up. "We should go back and get your brother before he eats that whole bag of candy."

He helps me get up and puts and arm around my shoulder while we walk back to my house.

I walk though the door to find my brother eating more of the candy and I groan falling on the couch saying, "I give up you win."

Noah laughs softly and goes over to Braden and takes the candy from my 9 year old brother saying, "Sorry buddy no more candy. I don't want your sister tackling me again."

Braden giggles and nods his head okay then skips up the stairs. I roll my eyes and yell up to him whiling walking into the kitchen, "You better be getting ready for bed Aden." I hear a faint fine as I open the cabinet door. I get out a snack I feel my best friends arm's go around my waist, "You are so strong Lyn. I am proud of you."

I turn around and hug my best friend mumbling, "Thank you Cammy." He growls at the mention of his nickname.

I giggle as I untangle myself from the hug and get back to eating my amazing snack. As I'm eating my food I watch my best friend stare off into space.

When I finish I notice that Noah is still staring off into space. I walk in front of him and wave my hand in front of his face and say, "Noah you okay?"

He snaps out of it blinking, "Oh-.. yeah.. um I have to go home. I'll see you at school tomorrow." He quickly hugs me and walks out of the house quickly.

I frown and put the dirty plate in the sink and rinse it off washing it and the rest of the dishes before going upstairs and going into Braden's room.

Once I get into Braden's room I see that he has already showered and has finishing his homework. I smile and walk over to his bed, "Hi buddy, I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier." I tell him while stroking his hair.

He smiles back and says, "It's okay Lyn. I'm sorry for eating the candy." I laugh and kiss his forehead whispering, "It's okay Aden. I love you. Get some sleep we have school tomorrow."

Braden smiles and whispers back and he rolls over getting comfortable, "I love you too Lyn. Goodnight."

I get up smiling and shut off his light and shuts the door gently and head to my room to take a shower.

After I get out of the shower I get into bed and take the book "The City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare  out and turn to a random page in the book and I start reading.

I read for about and hour until I hear the dryer stop so I go down stairs and fold the clean clothes and switch the laundry so the last load would be dry by the morning.

As I walk up the stairs I think about my parents. How I wish my mom had not of died. Then I would have help. Or how my dad left us. I wish it would go back to the way it was.

I get back up to my room and I put my book back away and I turn off my light. As I'm about to go to sleep I get a text from Noah.

Your amazing best friend>
I'm sorry princess that I left so unexpectedly. I have no excuses for it. Anyway Goodnight Lyn. I love you princess.

I smile as I read the message and I text back

Me>
It's okay. Goodnight Noah. I love you too weirdo <3

After I send the message I shut my phone off and snuggle into the bed and fall asleep dreading what was coming tomorrow. School.
