|16.|| Siddharth Ki Jaan.

"Hmm... cookies lai thi meri jaan mere liye ? " He said while picking up the pack as well and moved
out of the cabin.

"Uhmm" she meekly nodded while her eyes were completely closed.

"Khud banaye thay meri baby nai?? " Siddharth asked her while moving out of the building.

"Hmm ..khud" she again said while nodding and her voice was hoarse. Siddharth knew better not to ask
her.

He was going to get his answers from Aunty but know he needed to distract her.

He reached near his car and made her sit in the seat and when he was moving away she clutched his
arm.

"Siddharth?"

"Haan bas mai aa raha hoon .... aap baitho" he said and hurriedly moved to the other side.

Siddharth sat in the car and started driving. He looked at her and she was silently staring outside.

"Shehnaaz" he called her but she didn't replied.

"Acha Shehnaaz.... meri cookies kahan hain? " he asked to distract her and she looked at him and then
at the still packed cookies in her lap.

She was just staring at her lap when Siddharth said -

"Itni bhook lagi hai ...." he said and looked at her from the corner of his eyes.

"Bhook lagi hai?" Shehnaaz asked in a meek voice.

"Haan bht" Siddharth said with a fake innocent pout. Shehnaaz smiled at his pout and immediately opened the pack and Siddharth stopped the car at a side.

Shehnaaz gave one cookie to him and looked at his face. Siddharth took one bite of the cookie and looked at Shehnaaz.

She raised her eyebrows asking him about its tastes and he simply nodded his head to which she send a angry glare towards him.

"Bas sahi hai" he said adding more fuel to fire.

"Sahii .... seriously?" She said angrily and he innocently nodded.

"Aap ko pata bhi hai kuch?" She again thundered angrily and he shook his head.

"Mai world kai best nhi balkai bestest cookies banati hoon" she said with hand on her hips.

"Shehnaaz bestest isn't even a word" Siddharth said to irritate her more.

"Humph.... like I care" Shehnaaz said sassily and Siddharth raised his brow shockingly.

"The thing is ..... merai cookies are best sai bhi ziada achai " Shehnaaz said with attitude and looked
outside with a angry pout.

Siddharth looked and her cute face and started laughing. Shehnaaz looked at him with a open mouth and
wide eyes.

"Hawww.... hadd ho gai hai Siddharth ... aap ko bilkul bhi manners nhi hain na?" Shehnaaz said grumpily
and Siddharth looked at her with a weird and confused face.

"Ismai manners kahaan sai aa gaye?" He said while frowning.

"Matlab aik to chori uppar sai seena zori....pehlai aap nai meray cookies k sath itna rude behave kia
phir you have the guts to laugh..... aur phir aap poochtai hain manners kahaan sai aay ... kisi pai
hasna is a very bad manners.. " she rambled in one breath and turned her face angrily.

Siddharth was looking at her with wide eyes. He started to say something when she said loudly.

"Sheh......"

"Mai aap sai gussa hoon"

Again he said when she turned and said and again turned the other side

"Sheh.."

"Mai app sai bht gussa hoon"

"Sheh....."

"Mai aap sai bht ziada gussa hoon"
She again screamed at his face and turned the other side.

"Sheh....." Siddharth said again.

"Mai aap sai bht bht....." she was again going to say when Siddharth stuffed a cookie in her mouth and
smiled triumphantly.

Shehnaaz looked at him with wide eyes and soon they turned into angry glare.

She picked a cookie and
held Siddharth face from both side to stuff it in his mouth forcefully and he was struggling against her.

She touched it with his lips and forcefully stuffed inside his mouth. Half of it was outside and half
was inside his mouth.

She sat back in her seat with a satisfied and winning proud smile while Siddharth was sitting there
like a statue.

After a moment of silence Shehnaaz looked at him from under her lashes and he also looked at her and both burst out laughing.

At that time there were only two pure souls deeply in love without the care of the world and the pains of their life.

This was a perfect moment.

Siddharth saw a complete new version of Shehnaaz apart from her shy and naive nature she also was a Cute Tantrum Queen.

Siddharth entered through the gates of orphanage with a sleeping Shehnaaz cuddled in his arms. He had
already informed everyone and they were waiting for their arrival.

As soon as Siddharth entered the living room Swati immediately came towards them. Siddharth motioned
for everyone to keep quiet.

He took her to her room and laid her on the bed. He softly caressed her cheeks and she just hummed in her sleep getting comfortable on her bed.

After covering her with
blanket he came out of the room, not before pecking on her forehead.

"Kahaan thi Sanu Siddharth???" Swati questioned confused but now she was relieved that her daughter was safe.

"My Office " Came his reply and everyone was even more confused.

"She came to my office to give me her special chocolate chip cookies that she made for me.. " Siddharth
said with a small smile on his face. He was relieved that she was safe but he was a little angry also because of her dangerous stunt but after seeing her condition he was not able to scold his little baby.

"Awwwww" Jasmine sighed dreamily.

"Chocolate Chip Cookies...... sooo cute" she exclaimed.

All smiled at this.

"But jo bhi uss nai kia bht dangerous tha" Kushal said  still worried with her stunt and all nodded.

"Hmmm.... baat to shi hai .. aaj tak wo yahaan sai akeli bahir nhi gai aur aaj to iss nai mujhe dara hi dia tha" Swati said.

"Sab sai achi baat to yai hai k ab hamari bachi theek hai ... iss baat ko yahi khatam karo ...... koi ussai
kuch nhi kahai ga.. " Ashok said in a firm tone.

"Haan .... waisai bhi meri bachi ka intention to bht innocent or pyaara tha.. " Rita said with a smile
and everybody nodded smilingly.

Everybody was busy in their talks but Siddharth was busy in his own thoughts.

Different horrible thoughts were plaguing his mind.

"Aaaa... swati aunty I wanted to talk about something with you in private " Siddharth said.

"Acha ... aao beta" first swati was confused but then she lead him towards her room.

"Bolo .. kia baat hai" swati asked him worriedly.

Siddharth narrated her the whole incident and in the end said -

"Aunty kuch hoa hai kia Sanu k sath ??" He asked skeptically.

Swati gave a heavy sigh and her face looked sad.

"Siddharth when Sanu was in kindergarten she was such a bright child. She received A,s in all her
activities."

" She was the favorite bubbly child of all her teacher. She loved going to school. "

" Kindergarten k baad ussko vacations thay un mai bhi wo din ginti thi k kab uskai school start hoon gai. Jab uskai school start hoy to shuru k kuch din wo bilkul sahi thi. Phir aik din wo jab ghar aai to mujhe galai lag k ronai lag gai... "

" us din bht roi Thi meri bachi..  menai poocha uss sai k kia hoa but uss nai
bas yeh keh dia k she was missing me.... i was not sure but mai nai ussai believe kar lia.... "

" phir uss din k baad wo har din dari dari school sai wapis aati thi.... mai nai uss k teachers sai bhi discuss kia
but unko bhi kuch samajh nhi aa rhi thi. Raat ko akailai nhi so sakti thi aur beech raat uth k bht roti thi... phir uss nai school janai sai mana karna shuru kar dia.... school k naam sai bhi dar jati thi..... "

" phir aik din mai nai uss sai poocha. "

FLASHBACK

A six year old Shehnaaz was crying in the lap of a worried looking Swati.

"Mera baby kia hoa hai ?? Batao na school q nhi jana ??" Asked swati while rubbing her back.

"Nahi na Mama school ganda hai plz na mujhe nhi jana.. " Shehnaaz wailed in her arms and was hiccupping in between her sobs.

"Acha acha nhi jana ok... rotai nhi hain.... aap to Mama ki jaan ho na?" Swati said lovingly and cleaned her face. Shehnaaz nodded her head still sniffing.

"Phir batao kia problem hai?" Swati asked her to which Shehnaaz's lips again trembled.

"You will hate me... aap mujhe liar kahain gi.. " said Shehnaaz while hugging Swati tightly and moving close to her if that was even possible.

"Mama ap ko kabhi bhi hate nhi kar sakti baby... chalo bolo.. " said Swati yet again.

She shook her head furiously still in her embrace and mumbled "Uncle nai bola tha k mujhe punishment mile gi agar mai nai bola. ".

At the mention of uncle Swati became stiff and different thoughts came in her mind.

"Nahi nhi... mama I promise wo uncle hi gandai hain.... wo bht gandai hain.. wo mujhe tang kartai hain... mai nai kuch nhi kia Mama .. plz plz sorry.. " said little Shehnaaz in a scared tone when she noticed her Mama's rigidness.

Swati came back to her senses and held her close while tears also flowed from her eyes.

"Bas mera baby bas... Mama ko pata hai Sanu bht good girl hai bas bas..  " Swati consoled her and her voice was thick with emotion.

She didn't need to be explained twice... she was already able to make out that what would have
caused such a great change in her daughter's life.

"Phir mai school gai thi but uss admi ka kuch pata nhi chala... uss k baad sai Sanu ko yahaan sai
bahir jana bhi pasand nhi tha.... school mai koi kehta tha k wo admi teacher tha to koi kehta tha k
maybe he was someone from workers... aur koi kehta tha k koi bahar ka hai... mai Sanu ko iss sab
sai dur rakhna chahti thi iss liye mai nai poori koshish ki meri jaan ko har khushi dainai ki, aaj shayad
uss ko akailai mai apni wahi halat yaad aai ho gi... uss nai iss sai ziada kabhi kuch nhi bataya mujhe
na hi kisi aur ko.. " Swati was in tears by now and Siddharth's eyes were blood shot red and tears were
formed in his eyes but he didn't let them fall.

He exited the room and went straight to Shehnaaz's room. As he entered he saw her small form cuddled up in a corner and soft snores were heard.

He came close to her and sat at the edge of bed facing her and tucked the hair strands on her face behind her ears with a soft touch. He then softly
caressed her chubby cheeks with the back of his fingers.

He came close to her face and said -

"I promise "

And kissed her forehead.

"I promise "

Then he kissed her both cheeks softly.

"I promise "

Then he came closed to her parted lips and breathed on it and very lightly touched his lips with her.

"I promise k I will give you all the happiness in this world, Siddharth Ki Jaan. "
