Kaeya scowls as he looked up from the book he was reading, his gaze going to Diluc who was sitting on the sofa and had been attempting to very poorly muffle the soft hiccups coming out of him.

"Diluc, are you alright?" Kaeya asked, sounding slightly concerned.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," Diluc told him, nodding quickly not meeting Kaeya's gaze, as soft hiccups continued bubbling out of him.

Diluc's gaze remains on the floor, his face burning with embarrassment, he hears Kaeya sigh softly but he says nothing else.

Diluc is admittedly not doing fine, he doesn't know if he's coming down with something or if lunch just isn't sitting well but he does know two things his stomach is hurting. A deep ache and a heaviness settling in his gut, creating an almost unbearable pressure in his stomach as if it were being constricted in a vice grip, each hiccup sending pain streaking across his stomach.

Two he was nauseous, his stomach churning violently as he sat there trembling, his hands tightly gripping the couch cushions as he swallowed rapidly struggling to clear the near river of saliva filling his mouth. It's warm, sticky, and tastes vaguely sour which is only making him feel sicker. He squeezes his eyes shut when an intense wave of nausea washes of him, his stomach giving a low gurgling noise as a sharp cramp twisted at it.

Diluc grits his teeth against the pain stabbing at his stomach, briefly glancing over at Kaeya hoping that he couldn't hear the tense gurgling noises his stomach was making.

He closes his eyes again doing his best to take slow careful breaths, simply trying to breathe around the nausea and pain swirling in his stomach. Diluc is so focused on doing that, that when a loud burp suddenly forces its way up his throat he doesn't even bother trying to stop it.

His eyes open wide as he blinks his gaze on the floor, his face turning the same shade of red as his hair as he knows that there's no way that Kaeya didn't hear that.

Kaeya sighed, setting his book off to the side as he turned his full attention to Diluc who was practically frozen in place, his gaze on the floor as his face flushed red. Diluc flinches suddenly, his face twisting into a grimace as he gives a small gasp, curling in on himself slightly and wrapping one arm around his stomach as it gurgles loudly filling the silence of the room.

Leaving his chair Kaeya walks over to the sofa where Diluc is, he carefully sits down beside him making sure not to jostle him considering Diluc looked more than a little nauseous at the moment. Reaching out he cups Diluc's face in his hands frowning as he looks at him.

"Tell me what's wrong, is your stomach bothering you?" Kaeya asked gently.

Diluc gave a soft groan as he hesitantly nodded, swallowing a few times feeling slightly lightheaded when an intense wave of nausea washed over him swirling like a whirlpool in his stomach. He grits his teeth when another sharp cramp stabs at his stomach sending pain streaking across it and leaving him barely able to breathe for a few moments. "Kaeya...it hurts," he finally admitted with a groan, curling further in on himself slightly.

"Your stomach?" Kaeya asked, glancing down at it, concern clear in his voice.

Diluc nods again, swallowing thickly as a series of soft hiccups jolt his body. He squeezes his eyes shut dragging in a shuddering breath when a deep ache practically punches him in the stomach bringing a dizzying wave of nausea with it that leaves him unable to breathe for a few moments.

"Here," Kaeya sighs softly, pulling Diluc close so that he's practically snuggled up against Kaeya's side, his face buried in Kaeya's neck as he wraps an arm around him. Kaeya's other hand slips beneath Diluc's shirt, a soft hiss leaving his mouth as he lays a gentle hand on Diluc's stomach. The skin is taut and bloated, practically writhing violently beneath his fingers like a pissed-off ball of snakes, it's no wonder why Diluc seemed to be in so much pain.

"You didn't eat anything weird did you?" Kaeya asked scowling as he tilted his head slightly to look down at Diluc. He was still hiccuping, his eyes squeezed shut, and his lips pressed into a thin line, his face worryingly pale.

"N-no," Diluc whispered, shaking his head slightly, he groans swallowing rapidly as more sour-tasting saliva continued to flow into his mouth. His nausea only growing worse, leaving him dizzy and almost breathless, a cold sweat prickling at his skin. His stomach feels like it's being wrung into knots that horrible pressure only growing.

Kaeya sighed, his concern only growing. With the idea that Diluc had eaten something that just didn't agree with him shot down, that only left the possibility that Diluc may have caught something from somewhere. "Okay, I'm going to try and help you. If I start hurting you let me know okay?"

Diluc just nods, panting as he continues to hiccup, becoming slightly delirious from the nausea and pain.

Kaeya's hand moves carefully as he begins rubbing small soothing circles on Diluc's stomach. Applying the slightest pressure, internally cringing when the organ seems to almost bubble beneath his fingers like a pot of boiling water, loud, tense gurgles coming from it.

His fingers move up finding a particularly tight spot on the upper part of Diluc's bloated stomach, when he presses on it lightly trying to massage out the cramp there Diluc suddenly goes still his entire body tensing up.

"Diluc? Does it still feel okay?" Kaeya asked as his hand stilled.

Diluc nods, his eyes still closed when his body suddenly jolts with a loud burp and he opens his eyes slightly looking away as his face flushed red. "Sorry," he whispers, sounding almost ashamed, he closes his eyes again grimacing when another bad cramp twists at his stomach, an intense wave of nausea washing over him. That unbearable ache still has his stomach in a vice grip although it does feel as though it's eased up ever so slightly.

Kaeya shakes his head. "It's fine. Are you sure this isn't hurting you," He asked as he continued staring down at Diluc.

Diluc's face is still pale, his body trembling in Kaeya's grip, at this angle Kaeya can see his throat working as Diluc swallows almost convulsively drool leaking from the corners of his mouth.

Diluc shakes his head slightly. "Feels nice, please keep going," he mumbles as he relaxes slightly in Kaeya's grip. A soft sigh leaving his mouth as Kaeya begins rubbing his gurgling stomach again.

Diluc swallows hard as a particularly nasty wave of nausea hits, leaving him breathless and dizzy. Kaeya glances down at Diluc when his body seems to tense up almost unconsciously, going unnaturally still in Kaeya's grasp.

Diluc takes a deep shuddering breath as another intense wave of nausea washes over him, coppery salty tasting saliva suddenly rapidly filling his mouth no matter how much he swallows trying to clear it.

A second later Kaeya feels Diluc's stomach violently heave beneath his finger, practically convulsing, then Diluc is struggling in his arms frantically pushing away from Kaeya as he turns retching over the floor.

A gurgling wet burp leaving his mouth as he chokes up a large wave of thick, lumpy vomit, the smoothie-like slurry practically congealing into a pile on the floor.

"Oh no, okay. Just, try to get it up Diluc," Kaeya said as he grabbed Diluc's hair, gathering the long strands back away from his face. He grimaces, cringing slightly when Diluc lurches forward with a violent, gurgling retch as he chokes up another large wave of thick vomit.

Maybe it was just lunch not sitting well with Diluc for some reason because from what Kaeya can see, it's coming up nearly completely undigested and Kaeya glances away when he realizes he can clearly make out the chunks of food in the slurry.

Diluc coughs barely able to get a breath in as another large wave of vomit gurgles up his throat, splattering onto the floor as it adds to the sickening puddle at his feet. He brings up one final enormous wave before he sits back, practically sinking into the couch cushions as he pants, drool running down his chin and a hand on his stomach as hollow burps continue leaving his mouth, his eyes closed.

"Diluc, do you feel better?" Kaeya asked softly, laying a gentle hand on Diluc's shoulder.

Diluc shakily nods sniffling, while that unbearable pressure is gone there's still a dull ache in his stomach along with a slight queasiness which definitely isn't being helped by the sharp, rancid scent of vomit hanging in the air.

"Okay, I'll go send for Adelinde so we can go home and you can rest," Kaeya told him, his tone reassuring as he gently ran his fingers through Diluc's hair, brushing it away from his face.
