it had been almost four hours of happy songs by the time jungkook had begun making his way to the convenience shop.

their date had finished just in time for him to walk her to her next shift at work and he went in a little early for his at the radio station.

neither of them had wanted to separate but as they swung their intertwined hands between their hips while they walked, neither of them could ignore how content they felt in their position. how warm they felt side by side and how much they wished they could freeze this moment in time and stay there forever.

seunghee had blushed when jungkook swiped the stray chocolate syrup from her pink lips as they shared a sundae after their meal and jungkook’s insides had bubbled when she grabbed his hand while they walked back to the convenience shop, poking her fingers in between his like a child as she giggled and held his hand with both of hers for a second before letting go to dramatically swing their limbs as she gleefully skipped around him in a circle to thank him for their date.

he’d made a note to self that sugar made her a bit hyper but also found it endearing and adorable and knew to bring her candy when he was feeling down because he knew she could cheer him up.

the old streetlights had glared down at them, blinking every couple of seconds from old age but casting a warm waterfall of glowing yellow on the sidewalk while they walked and their cheeks bloomed like roses with warm fingertips brushing and hearts fluttering.

as jungkook stepped foot inside the white tiled shop his eyes went straight to hers and her cheeks lifted as she smiled brightly at him. he smiled back, more confident than other nights, she noticed his eyes twinkle more than usual.
