his dark duffle bag was slung over his shoulder and rested limply on his hip opposite from the shoulder.

he was walking down the sidewalk that was relatively busy with people but he was entirely engrossed in his phone.

despite the obvious safety hazard he was being, he did it anyway. and to top it off, he had tie his shoelace too unproportionally and stepped on one string that caused the entire knot to come undone.

so the boy was a walking disaster that was just waiting to happen in the cool darkness of this wednesday night.

finally looking up from his phone, he met eyes with someone else who had also just looked up from their phone and before each of them knew it they had inevitably collided with one another.

jungkook remained standing and reached out to grab the arm of the person he'd just collided with.

it was a boy that he'd never met before but within five seconds, the boy had apologized and walked away.

jungkook rolled his eyes at himself for being so careless and bend down to re knot his shoelace before he found himself eating pavement with the next step he took.

after standing up again, he brushed his hand through his fluffy hair and put his phone into his pocket, making his way across the street to the eatery where his friends were already seated, waiting for him.

after stepping foot into the restaurant, he made his way to his friends and set down his bag next to his chair.  

his friends greeted him warmly telling him about all the food they'd just ordered and jungkook chuckled and nodded, still unaware of what his friends were trying to say and oblivious to what they had planned to get jungkook back to his more round faced health where he was able to get up with his alarms and his face would have color in it again.
