seunghee

the two of them had finally reached seunghees dorm building and she had seemed to fall asleep fully by this point. jungkook did what he could to not wake her, knowing that she already lost so much sleep and carried her up to her room.

he grabbed her key from her backpack and opened the door to a small room with one bed and a bathroom with a tiny area for a kitchen. it smelled like roses from the rose wax melter that she'd forgotten to unplug.

jungkook dropped her backpack by the door and carried her over to her bed. gently, he leaned over and let her slide into her bed but despite his best efforts, she seemed to have woken up.

"jungkook?" she glanced around at her surroundings, "how did i get here?"

jungkook scratched the back of his head, "you fell asleep at the studio and i didn't want to wake you so i carried you,"

seunghee gasped, "oh gosh, i'm so sorry, that must have been terrible, i'm so heavy, i can't believe you did that." seunghee frowned, "but thank you." she added timidly.

"seunghee, you're the lightest person i know, don't worry, and make sure you're eating enough, i'm a little worried," he frowned.

"i'm fine, i just skipped lunch accidentally today," seunghee replied.

"okay well, just remember to eat please."

"okay."

jungkook gently kissed her forehead and she smiled at him.

"i'll see you tomorrow," just as jungkook said that, the sky decided to open up again and it drenched the ground.

seunghee looked at him and frowned and said shyly, "well there's no way i'm gonna let you walk back in that, why dont you just stay here?" seunghee's cheeks heated at her timid suggestion.

"are you sure that's okay?"

"yes, of course, i don't want you to get sick."

jungkook smiled at her concerned face "okay, thank you," jungkook then sent a quick text to hoseok so the older wouldn't worry about him and grabbed a blanket from a small pile on her desk and began to lay down on the floor next to her bed.

"what the hell are you doing?" seunghee asked.

"laying down?" jungkook responded confused.

seunghee rolled her eyes. "get up jungkook, you're not sleeping on the floor and neither am i. so get up here."

she shifted her body closer to the wall and patted the empty space next to her.

"oh, okay, are you sure you're okay with that?" he asked, shocked at her proposal but not opposed to it.

"only if you are," she smiled gently back at him.

he nodded and shrugged off his jacket, leaving him in his t-shirt and pants before laying down next to seunghee.

the two laid there for a few minutes, awkwardly. then they both moved over and ended up with their faces inches from one another.

jungkook was the first to move but not in the way she expected. his warm hand had made it to the her lower back and he pulled her against him, pushing their bodies together. she smiled and leaned into him more.

the two of them fell asleep quickly in each others arms, both of them warm and clinging to the comfort of one another.
