It was always hard for Kassi to try her best to be a ninja. Everyone looked down at her because of her height, so the other kids always made everything harder for her; Putting things higher than they needed to and the constant teasing really annoyed her. Over time she started to grow annoyed at not only her height but other people in general, yet she still tried her best to be 'friendly' while still at times being sarcastic. She didn't notice but as she got older a lot of the kids started to treat her differently. There was still the occasional teasing and stupid names but there started to be other names to describe her, cute, adorable, fun-sized, and the same nicknames that used to make her feel bad about herself were said in a way that seemed a bit admirable. That's beside the point though, even though Kassi acted friendly it didn't change the fact that everyone still annoyed her somehow. Not many people truly knew that she tended to be a blunt/kinda rude person whenever she wasn't trying to make a certain impression.

Well, people still sometimes underestimated her, and she loves to use that to her advantage. People who do it once tend not to do it again after facing her. It did entertain her a lot seeing how shocked people got sometimes when they weren't prepared for her.

Her team:

Amika Matafumi- She's the sweetest ninja you can meet. Unlike Kassi a lot of the times she's normally always genuine, but she gets serious when she has to face an opponent. She's technically the youngest in her class but she sees Kassi as her little sister, and even though Kassi's older she kinda sees her as a big sister as well. Kassi would normally get annoyed from others but Amika's someone she just feels comfortable around.

She has an older brother but he doesn't pay her any attention and she hates it, she always wished she could have a younger sibling so they could treat her better than her brother did her, so being with Kassi is kinda like her way to do that.

She's never demeaning or anything, she's just always there for Kassi and is really dependable. Kassi can almost never be upset with her. If she needs something, either Amika's already there or on her way for her. Because of their relationship, Kassi can never talk bad about her and Amika always sits and listens to her go off on rants about what annoyed her in that day. She tries to really take time out of her day to just listen to Kassi about her day, who tries to do the same but Amika always waves her off when she asks, but Kassi knows she can get it out of her if she had a bad day or if something's wrong so she's not too worried about that. All in all, though Kassi doesn't have a close relationship with anyone (including family) she loves Amika to death and she'll always see her as a big sister.

Ikebashi Ryumei- He acts high and mighty like he's the best ninja there is though he's only a genin. It annoys the heck out of Kassi, she doesn't like him but he doesn't like her either. She doesn't know why or when it happened, maybe after she expressed her annoyance in how cocky he could be. She's pretty sure that since then he hasn't really liked her. He always wants to fight her in training but of course Amika never really lets him. The only person who can truly get him to calm down is Amika, which makes Kassi think he likes her, but she doesn't know because she doesn't care or pay enough attention to him to find out. She does know that Amika doesn't even pay that kind of attention to him. She asked her and Amika simply said that she was basically the most important person to her as her little sister. She didn't even blush or anything when she told her her suspicion and kinda seemed like she already knew, but she only said that she sees him as a teammate and a trusted friend at most. Kassi hopes that he doesn't annoy her to the point where she would let that slip to him, she likes being blunt but she doesn't want to truly hurt others, because not only does she know a bit about Ikebashi's past, but she personally knows what it feels like to have her feelings completely crushed.

Kimo Chiyosha- The squad leader. He's actually young only about 7 years older than his squad but he sometimes acts much more mature (and other times not so much). To be honest, he's Kassi's least favorite on the team. She thinks he has a crush on her, and she's pretty sure that Amika thinks so too because she always gets close to her and protective when Kimo gets close to her. Though he is sometimes serious and is a good leader she still decided that she doesn't like him, too bad he doesn't know that. She keeps quiet and to herself with how much he gets on her nerves, though his gushing sometimes makes her wanna punch him, she normally just fakes obliviousness. Though whenever they train and he starts getting extra close to her she imagine the targets as him or his face. Luckily she knows how to completely ignore everything he says unless Amika tells her that it's important or if it's a mission. (Truthfully he just finds her adorable and things like that, he isn't actually attracted to her but they don't know that.)

Overall team-  Kassi is actually more afraid to have to ever face Amika than Ikebashi. Yeah, he seems like the worst but you train with them and you know that Amika can become an entire beast at times. They do work okay together, they're an above average team who tends to go on kinda harder but still low-rank missions. Even while they're all still genin they know how to put aside differences and get missions done. The most tension is between Amika and Kimo. He doesn't notice but she sometimes glares at him and Kassi wonders if Amika wishes she could fight him, though she would probably lose since no matter how annoying he is, he's still a jounin. Next would be Ikebashi and Kassi. She knows he doesn't like her, but he doesn't really seem to like anyone, so she never takes it personally. Other partners don't affect missions, but everyone knows that Kassi and Ikebashi together is nothing but trouble. Though she strongly dislikes Ikebashi and refuses to work with him she strongly dislikes Kimo more, but because of her ability to ignore him most times, that relationship doesn't truly affect the team.

Name: Kassi Himehori

Age: 12

Clan: Himehori Clan in the Hidden Leaf Village

Preferred styles of fighting: Mainly her clan uses Nature Style Ninjutsu, her strongest point. She's actually doesn't know any genjutsu, and her taijutsu though is about average, but she doesn't depend on it much, and if she trained her taijutsu more, it would be a huge asset to her. (Especially against Amika)

Kekkei Genkai: Technically her nature style ninjutsu is her clan's Kekkei Tota. (If you've seen Shippuden then you know certain natures can be made by having and mixing 3 chakra natures. Himehori's mix water, wind, and earth chakra natures, and it makes their nature style.)

Summoning Jutsu: (Not until later) She first learns to summon wolves, then later on she learns to summon birds.

Family: Only Child. She has a single mother who's been hospitalized since she was young but she's still alive. Her father died when she was younger but she was still old enough to remember almost all the conversations they would have together. The Himehori Clan isn't close together and people stay with their respective families, Himehori's pride themselves on their independence. She has little to no connection to the rest of her clan, except for her personal clan training. It has nothing to do with even building a bond with anyone, only the fact that she's been seen as a prodigy since a young age and because both of her parents are 'out of commission' the clan wanted to teach her so she could be the best and do great things in the Himehori Clan name. They work her down to the bone most times.

Family: No other parents, only her older brother who basically neglects her. Luckily her clan is very close and everyone treats each other as family, but she always wished to have a connection with her brother.

Preferred Styles of fighting: He prefers using weapons. He isn't good at all at genjutsu and is average with his ninjutsu, his taijutsu is average as well, except when he mixes his weapon ninjutsu and taijutsu together then he's a force to be reckoned with. He prides himself on being able to use a various amount of weapons well, which adds to his ninjutsu because he has a wind type chakra nature. His preference though is always with his personal sword, (that he later learns to infuse with his chakra) given to him by his father.

Summoning Jutsu: N/A by choice

Family: He has a father and mother. His father is a Jounin level ninja who doesn't take as many missions and prefers to stay home. He goes if it's really important or if he's directly called. His mother stays home a lot. He has a baby sister who his mom takes care of.
