Chapter 11

*Yawn*

Sitting up in the bed, I turned to see what time it was - 8am. 'I'm late by two hours'

From beside me, I felt something shift and wrap their arms around my waist. I sighed and shook my brother awake. But, he didn't wake up. My eyebrows furrowed slightly at this. Sentaro was normally the early bird. Pealing off the blanket, my eyes widened considerately. In a flash, I was off the bed and standing by the door.

'Sentaro?' I asked, looking around the room for him. From behind my bed, I heard a yawn. Slowly, yet steadily, I made my way towards the noise, only to come face to face with Sentaro. He was in a rather peculiar position might I add. His face was on the floor and his butt was in the air. 'How can he sleep like that?' I mused as I shook him awake.

Lifting himself up into a sitting position, he wiped the sleep from his eyes and frowned at me. "How did I get on the floor?" I stared at him before pointing to the figure still on my bed, sound asleep. As soon as Sentaro looked at him, his eyes almost bulged out from their sockets. "What. the. hell?!"

Jumping up from his current position on the rather comfy ground, Sentaro kicked Mayonaka off the bed himself. A loud 'Thump' was followed soon after by a "Urgh!"

Mayonaka jumped up as well and they began a glaring contest "Why'd you kick me?" Mayonaka demanded angrily. "Why did you kick me off MY bed?" I nodded at that one and stared at Mayonaka for answers.

Seeing my look, he scratched at the back of his nack nervously "I kinda.. do things in my sleep" "What things!?" Sentaro's eyes narrowed even further as he took a single step forward. "Nothing bad! Just.. sleep walk and stuff like that. So, don't blame me if i'm suddenly not in my bed in the morning" With a shake of my head, I headed towards the bathroom, clothes in hand, ignoring the argument arising.

After getting dressed, I brushed my hair, attached my weapons in their correct places and tied my headband around my neck, loosly. My Kubikiribocho was placed under the bed for safe keeping, so kneeling down, I stretching my hand under and grabbed the handle before pulling it out gingerly.

Strapping it comfortably across my back, I picked up my Shamisen and walked into the kitchen for something to eat. Mayonaka was sitting on the couch looking bored and slightly beaten up. I rose an eyebrow at this, but didn't bother to even question it. Walking into the kitchen, I went for an apple, but someone grabbed my wrist before I could do so.

I looked at who the wrist was attached to and stared at Sentaro questionably. He shook his head and pointed to some buttered toast on the counter. "No apples, eat that" Sighing, I gave a curt nod and picked up my toast before slowly eating it whilst walking to the door. "Where are you going anyway?" I didn't stop and opened the door 'Mission' He nodded and was about to speak when he was interrupted by my panther friend.

"Hey! Setsuna, can I come with?" He asked, running towards me. I held up my hand and shook my head 'Sentaro' "Hm?" 'Take Mayonaka to Lord Hokage today. We need his answer' An instant frown took over his normally cheery features, but he nodded nonetheless. "Fine.. but you owe me one" 'Hai' Wit that said, I left and closed the door behind me, not bothering to lock it as the two were still inside.

As I walked down the busy streets of Konoha, I sighed in content. Konoha is the most peaceful village Sentaro and I had ever been to. The streets are always filled with happy families and children running around playing with their friends. It almost makes me envious of them.

In the distance, the bridge came into view. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke were already there and Kakashi, as usual, was probably late. "Hey! Your late!" two of the three shouted whilst pointing accusing fingers at me. They seemed to be waiting for my reply, but I merely blinked twice before leaning against the railing.

"Hey guys, good morning" I glanced up at Kakashi, who was wearing his usual lazy expression "Sorry i'm late. Afraid I got lost on the path of life" "YOU LIAR!" Jumping down towards us, ignoring Naruto and Sakura's outburst, he stated that we'd be doing a few missions today.

I watched as Naruto began staring intently at Sasuke, who gave a bored look, and Sakura who was staring intently at Naruto for staring at her Sasuke. "Let us know when your done fantasising Naruto, so we can start the mission. Alright?" Kakashi asked, pulling out his icha icha paradise book. "Right!"

Our first mission was to pull out weeds from a ladies garden. As Sakura and Sasuke were pulling out them lke normal people, Naruto was doing it without even looking where he was going. Noting that I was doing nothing, Kakashi came over to me and asked me directly "Why aren't you helping, Setsuna?" I stared up at him before holding out my covered hands. He rose an eyebrow, still confused "Can't you just pull them up?" I shook my head and lifted them up further.

Chuckling, he pushed up one of my long sleeves before staring intently at my snow white, bony fragile hands. I never really use my hands for fighting, I keep them in perfect shape for my shamisen. "I still don't understand" Sighing I decided to just tell him 'I need them in top condition for my Shamisen. I won't allow them to get muddy or hurt' He nodded in thought "I see.."

"Hey you!" An old womans voice came from behind. Kakashi and I shared a look, before going off to see what had happened. Once there, we came up to Naruto who was being beaten up for pulling out all the ladies flowers. Kakashi shook his head, along with Sasuke and Sakura, while I walked over to the pile of plants.

Placing a hand over them, I searched through it all in my mind and reversed the flow of time around only the special herbs she'd been growning. They all flew out of the pile of weeds and went back to their places on the ground. "Wow, Setsuna! How'd you do that?" Sakura asked as she came over to see what I was doing. I shook my head and walked back over to Kakashi, who was once again eyeing me with curiosity. 'Next mission' I stated, bringing him back from his thoughts. "Right"

Sitting at the banks of the river with my feet dangling in the cold liquid, I watched as my team, excluding Kakashi, searching through the water for rubbish. Kakashi, who was still reading his book, glanced up at me and sighed "Still for the hands?" I nodded and placed my Shamisen in my lap in it's correct position. Pulling up my sleeves, I made sure my fingers were in their right places, and began playing.

Once again, I closed my eyes as always and listened to the sound I was producing. The wind blew faster at the fast parts and slowed down at the slow paced parts. If I could, I would smile, but since that wasn't an available option, I simply sighed.

"Uwah!" I stopped playing and opened my eyes to see Naruto.. falling down the waterfal. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Sasuke roll his eyes and jump after him. I shook my head and turned to our lazy sensei 'It must be humiliating to be saved by your rival' He merely nodded.

Our third mission was to walk dogs. Sakura and Sasuke chose the normal sized dogs, but Naruto being Naruto, decided to chose the largest. I sighed on my seat on the largest dog as it began walking into a minefield.

Quick as a flash, I disappeared and reappeared right beside Sasuke. He flinched since he hadn't noticed me walk there, but it soon turned into a smirk. "BOOM" I turned back to the minefield and watched as the dog pulled a burnt to a crisp Naruto out along with it. With a shake of my head I walked over to the large dog and touched it's head to mine. 'Good dog' "Bark!"

Wtih all our missions now done, we began making our way back through Konoha. Naruto and Sakura had to help Naruto, however, as he couldn't walk all to good on his own.

"Hn. You really are a just one big problem" Sasuke stated with a smirk making Naruto angry. "Sasuke!" Just as he was about to try and attack the raven haired boy, Sakura stuck out an arm to hold him back "If you keep this up, i'll finish you off myself!"

With a shake of my head, I began walking away to find a quiet place. "Setsuna! Meet at the usual place at 5am tomorrow morning" Kakashi called out to me as I turned a corner. I knew by '5' he actually meant '9'. He also knows that I won't come early.

Just as I passed a tree, I felt weird presences coming my way. So, I jumped up high into the tree and waiting for something to happen.

Not long later, a boy wearing all black with kitty ears came along with a girl who had ponytails (She looked rather similar to a poodle). They were both wearing sand village headbands. I was about to leave since they weren't doing anything, but was stoppped when a loud shrill kept coming closer.

Rounding the corner, a small boy bumped into the one in black clothed ninja and fell onto his backside with a thud. Picking him up my his scarf, the sand nin held him high up in the air, almost strangling the child. As soon as Naruto and Sakura rounded the corner aswell, they gasped "Konohamaru!" Naruto cried, worried. "Does this hurt, Punk?" The guy sneered. "Just put him down Kankuro or you know you'll pay for it later" His female companion ordered, although she didn't look all that bothered.

"You better take your hands off him right now!" Naruto hollered with an irk mark and ran at the sand nin. However, he stopped mid-way and fell backwards. I glanced back over to the boy clouded in black and nodded in understanding, to myself. He used chakra strings. 'A puppeteer?' "Your a leaf genin too? Looks like your village is full of wimps!" The boy wore a smirk as he stated this.

From the branch just below mine, I felt Sasuke's Chakra presence. He must have felt something wrong as well and came to check it out. I shook my head and stared back to the situation on the ground.

Just as the Kankuro was about to hit Konohamaru, a small rock was thrown and collided with the sand ninja's hand. He instantly let the small boy go, but before he could hit the ground, I appeared behind him and caught him in my arms. "Your a long way from home and your way out of your league" Sasuke's voice caught everyone's attention, except mine since I already knew he was there. "Sasuke!" Sakura cheered in relief.

Placing the small child on the ground, I patted his head once. This act made his cheeks turn red and he smiled almost nervously at me. Standing up, he turned to Naruto and pointed at me "Hey Boss, who's this pretty lady?" Naruto came out of his anger daze from looking at Sasuke and turned to me.. surprised. "When'd you get here Setsuna?" Everyone's attention was now on me as I stood up and stared blankly. 'Just now' I stated to all of them.

The boy in black, Kankuro, rose an eyebrow before coming closer with a smirk plastered across his face. "And who are you?" "Idiot, Why don't you just get lost" Sasuke called from his space on the tree. The rock in his hand was crushed into small grains as he spoke. "Hey punk! Get down here! Your the kind of pesky brats I hate the most" Just as Kankuro was about to pull the puppet from his back, a deadly cold voice spoke up. "Kankuro, back off" It ordered.

'I knew I could sence someone else around here.. but not just him.. there's more' I mused as I turned around to face the new arrival. A boy with red shaggy hair and seafoam green eyes glared coldly down at the sand ninja. "Your an embarrassment to our village" Everyone gasped as they didn't feel him coming or even see him for that matter. "Ur-Uh.. Hey Gaara" Kankuro greeted with a nervous smile "Have you forgotton the reason we came here for?" His voice was cold and dead and if looks could kill, then his teammate would be 6ft under by now.

"I-I know. I-I mean, they challenged us!" I shook my head and began walking away, not wanting to hear their petty excuses any further. "Setsuna-chan!" Naruto called out, noticing that I was walking away.

I stopped mid-step and turned around to face my blond teammate with a questioning look. "Where are you going? Don't you want to hear this?" My gaze shifted towards the red headed ninja for a split-second before going back to my teammates. I shook my head 'I have to be somewhere' Without further adew, I disappeared, reappearing right inside the Hokage's office.

All was silent as the many Jonin and Chunin, plus Hokage, stared at me in shock. Ignoring them, I walked towards the Hokage and bowed my head in respect. "S-Setsuna" Kakashi called quietly from behind. I turned to him with a tilt of my head 'Yes?' I asked, allowing all of the people inside the room to hear me. "We're in an important meeting right now. Why are you here?" I pointed to Ibiki and then to the Hokage.

"Oh I see" Lord Hokage said with a chuckle "You wish to know whether Mayonaka can stay in our village" I nodded, awaiting his answer "Ibiki" Said man walked forward and gave me a weird look before speaking "He's no spy and was telling the truth when he said he didn't have anything further to do with that man. So we decided he could stay. On the condition of becoming a leaf ninja" '..I see. Thank you Lord Hokage' I bowed once again, before turning around to leave.

However, before I could do so, the Hokage's voice stopped me "Hold on. You may stay and listen if you wish to" I gave him my signiture confused look, making him simply chuckle "And while your at it, why don't you show everyone what's on your back" He winked secretly as he said this 'I understand now..' I mused to myself 'He wishes for me to show everyone that I am capable of entering the Chunin exams, by showing them Zabuza's sword' I knew of the Chunin exams since Sentaro spoke about it nonstop a lot of the time.

Nodding once, I placed my hand on the swords handle and pulled it out in front of me for everyone to see. Gasps filled the room and Kakashi facepalmed with a shake of his head. "Why is she carrying the Kubikiribocho?" One person shouted.

"Iruka!" Lord Hokage called. "Setsuna fought Zabuza Momochi and came out without a scratch. Do you not agree that she is strong enough for the Chunin exams?" 'So, Iruka doubted me' I wondered silently. More gasps came from around the room and Iruka sweat drooped "Fine. Setsuna's strong enough. But I still think it's a bad idea for the others!"

With a shake of my head, I left the room, not even bothering to say goodbye. The Hokage was just using me to tell Iruka that we genin were strong enough to take the exams. 'Sneaky Hokage'

Picking up speed, I ran all the way to the woods for training. But, I wasn't going to train here, I would be training in my training dimension. I needed to learn how to use Zabuza's large sword.

Walking into a small clearing, I lifted up my hand and said 'Sunpo Seigyo: Kenshu-Shitsu' A large rectangular door began forming, but it looked nothing like the door from the other day. This one was worn out looking and a musky grey instead of snow white. It had many dents in and the handle was half broken off. I have never thought of fixing the door, though, as they each represent what's on the inside.

Just as I took a step inside, I stopped and turned around with slightly narrowed eyes. I was sure that I felt something.. or someone.. around here. I waited for a couple more moments before fully stepping inside and closing the door behind me. Even if someone was there, he/she wouldn't be able to me find until I come back to Konoha.

(Third Person POV)

The three sound ninja stepped out from their hiding spots in the bushes and walked towards the previously stood door. It had disappeared as soon as she closed it, so the ninja couldn't find any way inside.

"We should have grabbed her while we had the chance" The single girl stated with a glare towards her two teammates. The one with wrappings over his face, rolled his single visible eye. "We never had the chance. She was surrounded by others" The other guy moved his hand around in the air, trying to figure out how the door came to be. "But, I can see why he's interested in her. She has an unusual power" He stated, still flailing his arms about.

"Will you stop doing that!" The girl ordered, grabbing a hold of the back of his collar and pulling him backwards with force to send him tumbling. "It's gone. You won't be able to find it until she opens it up again"

The guy who stood off to the side sweat dropped at the two and leaned against a nearby tree. He, too, was also curious as to what powers she had. He had never met anyone in his life that could make a door appear, walk inside and be gone without a single trace. 'It was as if she disappeared off the face of the planet'
