{Party Forty-two}
Josh's apartment was akin to mine, layout-wise, but that was the only real similarity. The furniture was nicer, and the apartment itself was in better shape. There was also more than one window, from what I could see; one in the kitchen and one in the living room.
Dallon was sitting on the couch, watching television. I wasn't entirely sure what he was watching at first, but I soon recognized it as Doctor Who. He glanced over to Josh and I, not seeming particularly surprised to see me. "Hey."
"Hi." I gave Dallon a slight, shy nod as Josh led me into the bathroom. There was a washer and dryer there, and I threw in my still-sopping clothes. Josh added some soap and turned it on.
As the washer began cleaning my clothes, I tried to work up a bit of courage to say something, but Josh spoke before I could. "Have you had dinner yet?"
I shook my head. I was feeling hungry, but hadn't really thought much about food until he mentioned it.
"We have some numbers for takeout on the fridge." Josh led me out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. "What are you in the mood for?"
"You don't have to feed me," I assured him. "I'm alright."
Josh turned away from the fridge to face me. "I know I don't have to, Tyler, I want to." He leaned in and kissed me.
I kissed him back, of course. I was really starting to get addicted to those kisses. They weren't heavy, or rushed; no, the near opposite. They were soft, and gentle, and pure.
I heard an exaggerated sigh and quickly broke the kiss. It was Dallon. "Get a room, guys," he said, rolling his eyes as he got a soda from the fridge. He was smiling.
I blushed in response, and Josh just stuck out his tongue at his roommate before turning back to me. "How does pizza sound?"
