{Part Thirty-four}

The next morning, I had to get up at five thirty. I wasn't used to waking up so early, but I was usually tired to some degree anyway, so it wasn't too big of a deal. I took a warm shower and got dressed into a soft, plain gray sweater, dark skinny jeans with holes in the knees, and a pair of combat boots. I usually only wore my combat boots when I was feeling particularly happy, and that day I was. (A/N: I would sell my fridge to see Tyler Joseph in combat boots)

I skipped my hot chocolate routine, as I was probably going to order some at the cafe. I got my backpack full of school stuff, so I could head off to my first class afterwards. Then I put my phone in my pocket, grabbed my wallet and keys, and headed out.

When I pulled into the parking lot of his apartment complex, Josh was already there. He was wearing a black and white patterned shirt with an unzipped, dark gray sweatshirt over it, blue jeans, and some sneakers. He was outside one of the downstairs apartments, leaning against a support beam.

With the lean and all, I thought he looked like a punk James Dean.

But better.

I got out of my truck, grinning uncontrollably. Josh was too, and that made me grin more.

"Good morning," Josh greeted.

I hesitated, then quickly leaned in and kissed his cheek, surprising both of us. "Good morning to you, too."

A/N: SHAMEFUL SELF PROMOTION AHEAD!

If you're reading this Joshler book and you'd like more, I have several others:

JOSHLER ONESHOTS -- A bunch of mostly fluff (though there is some angst too) short stories that span a few chapters each. Updating when I come up with ideas. I'm currently writing one about the Hunger Games (cliché, I know).

CURIOSITY -- A fanfiction in which Tyler lives on his family's farm, and discovers an alien (Josh) that has crash-landed there. Basically fluff, some angst. Updating every day.

CONVERSATIONS WITH BLURRYFACE -- A fanfiction in which Tyler records the conversations he has with Blurryface in an attempt to defeat him. There's a little Joshler, but not lots. Angst. Much angst. Trigger warnings, too, so please be careful if you read!! Updating every day, though I'm almost done with the book completely.

Also, if any of you here are Frerard lovers, I have two books for that as well:

FRERARD ONESHOTS -- A bunch of mostly fluff (though there is some angst too) short stories that span a few chapters each. Updating when I come up with ideas.

GHOSTS -- A cute/angsty fanfiction in which Cherry (Frank's daughter) sees the ghost of Gerard every day, and tries to learn more about him. Updating every day.
