{Part Forty-five}

Josh was true to his word: we didn't do anything more than sleep. He woke me in the morning with a kiss, and we had breakfast with Dallon. Josh's roommate teased us about the sleeping and the blanket fort, in a friendly way. I'd brushed off his jokes with some blushing and smiling, and Josh had countered Dallon with some teasing of his own. The three of us spent the early morning talking and laughing together.

After breakfast, Josh drove me to my apartment and dropped me off there so I could get ready for classes later. He'd kissed me on the cheek before heading out with Dallon to their own classes at Ohio State.

I spent the rest of my week as I usually did, filling it with an even mix of work and school, fitting in texts and calls with Josh. I called Melanie one night just to chat, and we ended up talking for almost two hours. She told me she was having another party on Saturday, but a casual one, with only a few friends instead of a larger group. She invited me, and after asking if Josh could come, she agreed, with lots of giggling. According to her, we had become her new OTP. (A/N: Same, Mel, same.)

Friday afternoon, I was at work, hanging up some posters that we were trying to sell. We had several posters from newer bands, and a handful of rarer posters from older bands. I'd had my eye on a Green Day poster most of the day. The walls in my apartment were so plain, and I was willing to splurge a little on a poster or two to make the beige walls more appealing.

(A/N: I'd sell my wisdom teeth for this poster)

It was about three forty-five in the afternoon, and the store was mostly empty. It never was particularly crowded, except on weekends, or if we were having a big sale. A few people had come in throughout the day to browse, and two different people had come in to buy the new Gorillaz album.

I was just hanging an Arctic Monkeys poster when the bell on the door rang, indicating someone had entered the store. I was halfway through hanging the poster on the wall as I spoke. "Hi, welcome to Galaxy Music, can I help you find anything today?"

"I'm looking for my boyfriend, actually," the customer said, and I could almost hear the smile in their familiar voice. I almost dropped the tacks in my hand in surprise; the voice belonged to Josh.

"Well, you've found him," I responded, getting off the stepstool and turning to face Josh. He was wearing a gray hoodie with tiny black planets scattered over it in a pattern, and a pair of dark skinny jeans with rips in the knees. His snapback was turned backwards, so I could see the curls of his bright red hair sticking out in the front.

Josh wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed my cheek. "How's work, love?"

I blushed a little at the nickname and kissed his cheek as well. "Good."

"I can only stay a moment," Josh informed me. "I just came by on the way home from classes to see how you're doing."

"It was sweet of you to stop by," I said with a smile. "Are you doing anything on Saturday?"

"No, why do you ask?"

"Melanie's having a small party, just a couple of friends, and she said I could invite you."

Josh grinned and kissed my nose. "I'd be happy to go with you, Ty."
