"Sameer he was leaving me"she clucth on his shirt as he ran his hand at the back calming her down."It was just a nightmare gorgeous"he tried to assure her,but she seemed to ignore it,"No he can't leave me sameer! How can he leave me?"she questioned much to herself in between her sobs.Sameer sigh,a defeated one.How much he tried she isn't going to calm down,he was sure she had saw a really terrible nightmare,this had made him more clear that the dicision he took was right,yeah,it was the best,best for them,for Annika,for Shivaay and for himself,"really?"his heart whispered,he shut his eyes closed,this is going to be one really difficult dicision.

He affraid to listen to his mind,well two reasons for this one is that taking dicision with mind never helps a person as far as it concerned with any professional matter but in these situations it's better to kept it away,the second one had more appropiate reason,he wonder well yes,he had seen the consequence of it through his own eyes and he will not hazard to have it,Shivaay was the real view example.

Yes,these all are just lame ones if anyone listen to it but if he will ahve annika,it's not like she left him,she is still with him and will be wirth him throughout not as a lover but a best friend and he will be happy with it.ok for once if he think that he had her,then what?He stopped,wondering what will happen and to his dismay nothing came,despite having her he will not have her.How much he will try to keep her happy,she will be for sometimes but not like the one when she was with Shivaay. It's complicated isn't it? His life had always being complicated,being brought up in a high class family,didn't really bothered him,he felt mor peace with his aunty than his parents,well the show offers he must say,they never give a damn about him,his eeys started to stink but he continue to stroke her or rock her to make her calm,He never complained to god because he had his aunt by is side,she was his real mother,to be more precise,as the pwerson who brought you up had more values than the one you gave birth doesn't it?So yes she was his mother.

When he grown up ,he was happy,but at some moments,it hurts to think that ,but he was an easy going person,he never took life so serious but one thing was ,that is he can do anything for his loved one's even if cost his life.And he knows the same is happening here,he can't be selfish because he know his selfish ness will cost him more,he willl lost his bubbly annika,his best friend and he never want this to happen. How much annika say,she will never be able to overcome the tsunami called shivay from her heart,yes he knows she was scared and for that reason he was quite,quite as he hope that maybe she was right maybe they can start a fresh journey but no Now this seems to be beyond impossible,She loves him and the irony is that he too know about it ,he had seen the raw fear in her yes,the stiling of her body,the helplessness in her actions,the loaded grief in her silent cries,it seemed that her heart was crying like anything and now this,the fears now coming to light in the form of crying,

Her eyes spokes much more than her words,it was terribly clouded with fear,fear of losing shivaay,a small smile crept on his lips as he thought that yes,she can now o to shivaay without any hesitence,because the previous fear was gone,vanished in the thin air and now was replaced to this new found fear,fear of losing her shivaay and he knows that she is the only one who can bring him back.

he sensed her calming down,but the sniffing and hiccups had done nothing good to the thoughts,he with a determined look,tried to make her come out of the embrace and made her look at him ,the tears were not coming but he knows she was crying,her heart was crying,he moved a little sideways and extended his hand to get the glass,still holding her and made her have some water,while she refused to have it but he was more stuborn,he cracked few jokes just to make her feel a little better and it seemed it worked as she smiled a little at his horrendous jokes."Sameer why you have to be like this?"she asked wipping off her tears."What's that means?"he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Sameer!"she said and he nodded now all the bubbly ness went and what left was only seriousness on his face"Annika"he said softly and took her hand in his squeezing it a little"I'm ending this engagement"he said firmly ,annika on the other hand felt a shiver ran down her spine,she don't know what to do or what to say at that very moment,Sameer could feel her face palm and he know what is stopping her to say something,He sigh,"Annika you need to understand"he said once again in a pleading tone,while she was still in a state of dizziness.

She looked at him with emotionless face,How can she say that yeah,we should end this?How much she love Shivaay she can't leave sameer like this.How could she?No annika don't you dare do this,her heart warned her,Then what about Shivaay annika? her mind asked making her confuse.Yes she love shivaay,more than anyone else,but she can't stop loving sameer as her best friend,all the things he had doen for her tilll now,they are priceless,she can't pay them off and now ending this engagement meant that she's been selfish,she become a cheater from this side also,as the accusation was from Shivaay side's also,so she just can't let her drown into this pool twice.

Sameer looked at her eyes,which had a no. of emotions flowing through them,fear,anger,helplessness,grief ."Gorgeous"she whsipered once again "I can't"she said after a long pause,Sameer jsut gave a groan,he was tired of making this stubborn lady understand that this relation had no future. He know she is feeling like she is betraying him but does she know that she is cheating herself? "Annika"he sigh, "how much you will ran away from Shivaay?"

"Sameer"she said equally dejected.

"Don't tell me that you don't love Shivaay,For heaven's sake" he said as he took her hand in his,she didn't met his eyes and looked at their hands"I don--"
"don't you dare say that"Sameer threatened making her stop in midway. He don't know why he was behaving like this? He never behaved like this maybe annika's stubbornness had taken a toll over him,he needs to insert some sense in that little head of her's and he will do it now no matter what,it's high time.

Annika didn't  said  a word after that but sat there still doing the same thing that is staring at their hand,he held them tight squeezing it trying ti make her look up to him,"I know why are you doing this" Annika said after a pause "but you need to understand me"

"Yes I'm doing that only and now seeing everything there's no doubt in that decision" sameer said still having the helpless tone."But how can I leave you sameer? how tell me?"she asked for an answer which he too don't know. She felt bewildered when he smiled at her,seeing the confusion on her face he smiled more brightly"Who asked you to leave me?for your information I'm not at all going to leave you and you will be always my gorgeous,did you hear me out?"he said in a calm voice while her eyes strated to fill with unshed tears.

"Why you had to be this good?" she aksed with a defeated sigh and kept her other hand over their gripped one."You know that I too don't know about it"he said with a small smile. The room was soon filled with silence,but it was somewhat a little relieved.

"Hmm, I wanted to say something"sameer hesitate making her hummed in response,but he didn't said anything "Sam"she whispered "Actually that day when Rudra came to meet you,I mean"he fumbled "Yes what about that?"she aksed."Gorgeous I know it's a bad habit but I listened to your conversation with Sahil,I know we shouldn't eavsdrop but I had came here to look for sahil and heard all of it",annika just felt the air gushing out of her lungs making her breathless,"I'm sorry"seh just took him into a bone crashing hug and started crying.

"What I did was terrible and this is the reason you are crying right?"he asekd frightened holding her in his embrace,she just smiled between her sobs"Are you serious Sameer?"

"No but I didn't excepted this,else I thought that I will get a flying chameli from your side"he said with fear and this just made a laugh to escape her mouth,making him grin like a teenager boy."You can never be serious Sameer wht will happen to you?"she asked coming out of the embrace with a small smile"unless and until you are there I'm Okay with it"he said and winked while she just hit his forearm lightly rolling her eyes at his cheesy lines."I can handle you like this but this cheesy lines,you know they sucks"she said twisting her mouth in a wierd manner,he just laughed out loud.

"Hey senorita,aise bare---"

"yeah Yeah I know,bare bare desho main aise choti choti baat hoti rehti hai right?"she cut him off,while he just nodded his head ,grinning and within second both started laughing like crazy.

"Okay,okay!enough we were serious so we should be"Sameer tried to stop"See who is talking about this"she taunted making him dance in his mind as he ws able to make the atmosphere a little light.after a few second,sameer slowly started to take off his ring and handed this to Anika"You are free annika,and don't you feel like a cheater as this was my dicision and I know this is the best one"he said softly as his eyes started to stink,she kept looking at the ring in her palm as tears started to scroll don't her cheeks"You know I think ahana will be really happy seeing me doing this,believe me anni,this dicision will never coem in between our friendship,we will remain as we were"

"I Love you sameer"she said as she looked up,he smiled as he know which type of love she was talking about."And I will continue to do that,gorgeous"he said as he wiped off her tears from her cheek"Now you rest as shivaay will soon be awake waiting for you"he said as he moved towards the side table,taking the medicines,he forced her to have it ignoring her puppy face.

As he turned to move making her comfortable on the bed,he felt a tug on his wrist"How did you able to do this?"she whispered,he smiled and moved and sat beside ehr "maybe god made me meet this precious treasure to take her to her real owner"she just gave a sigh,as she get the meaning behind the words"and having this treasure as my bestfriend my entire life"he winked making her lie."now you rest"he said as he made her sleep on the bed and started to stroke her hair as she closed her eyes due to the heaviness in them,as the medicines started to take a toll on her sense,he smiled with tears in his eyes as he hear her say her last word before she went into a peacefull sleep.

With a last glance on her relieved face,as if a big burden ahd been taken from above her heart,he felt contented,but at some point it hrts when he tried to listen his mind but seeing her happy just throw all of that feeling out of the window and what left was happiness.

As he came out of the room,he failed to notice rudra and Om behind the pillar seeing him with tear filled eyes with admiration at it's aboundence.

Sameer moved towards Ketki cabin an with a knock entered it,ketki with the first glance ahd realied what he had done just a few miutes ago,she was proud as she saw him behaving as normal as he could"How's you?'she whispered as he went towards the small shelf goign through the books"Fine,what will happen to me?"he aksed"yeah but it seems the oppoite you know"she said with amusement with a hint of sacasm within,he jst shrug off his shoulder making jkatki sigh,a defeated one though.She went towards him and made him face ehr,"sam look at me child"he didn't met her gaze but just hugged her tight"I did it aunt,she is free now to go to Shivaay,she is happy"he said with a crack voice and tried hard not to let the tears spill from his eyes,"don't stop yourself,sameer,just gave in"she said running her hand through his hair movign it in a circle and with that tears strated to roll don his cheek as he sobbed.

"I'm happy that she is with Shivaay now"he said after a pause and come out of the hug wipping off his tears,ketki just smiled through her tearful eyes"I'm proud of you child,you never dissapoint me"she said as she caress his face,but deep down her heart broke into pieces seing him like this but this dicision was better for him and shewas glad that he took her advice"you know letting go of your love is very difficult and hard but you did it child"she smiled while he reciprocated it..

She made him sit on the couch and handed him the water to drink when the nurse came running with an urgency look,"doctor,Mr.Oberoi"she staretd making both of them look at her with an alarm look.
