This is a highly important chapter so please make sure you've read it throughly so you understand what sort of feedback is accepted here at Shut Up and Read.

1. Accepted Feedback ✅
Example: I really liked the part when... however this part didn't make sense and there were some spelling and grammatical errors that could be corrected by using Grammarly or something similar.

It is important that you explain to your partner your opinions on the book you have read. Think about something you liked about your partners chapter, something you disliked about it, something you think can be improved and how they can improve it.

2. Substandard Feedback ❗️
This was nice. It was good.

Now this example here isn't accepted in Shut Up and Read Book Club. Although this example isn't nasty, it doesn't show that the reader has read the story or that they are mature enough to give decent feedback. No one can improve if they are not shown where they have gone wrong, and where they can improve.

If you feel your partner has left substandard feedback please let the moderators know.

3. Bad Feedback ❌
This was the worst book I've ever read. You can't spell. You can't write. You're rubbish.

This is completely rude, and is not welcome here at Shut Up and Read. If any of our members leaves feedback like this then they will be quickly removed from the book club.

If you are unfortunate enough to get feedback similar to example number three, please let the moderators know and we will sort it out.

4. Parts that do not count.
The following parts DO NOT count towards your three chapter requirement. Therefore you do not need to leave any comments on them.
